History

Established in 2009.

My name is Cody Machart and I am a long-​time resident of Sugar Land, TX, a bustling suburb 20-​something miles southwest of Houston. I am the photographer behind the lens of Cody Machart Photography providing the Houston area with fine portraits. I am a freelance photographer and available for just about anything family related. I shoot my sessions using natural light and I am available at a location of your choosing or I have numerous favorite spots around the Sugar Land area to offer as a backdrop.

A little bit about myself: I am a simple kind of person and my home is a wonderful kind of busy which consists of my beautiful and supporting wife, two amazing children, three dogs, and a cat. I was not born into a family of photographers or anything like that, rather I fell in love with it as a favorite pass time and hobby soon after my first child was born. My favorite hobby evolved quickly over the past several years into a small business for me. They say, do what you love and you will never have to work a day in your life. Well, here I am doing what I love! In my free time, when the opportunity presents itself, I enjoy restoring my Chevy pickup truck, trying to fish and just being outdoors with nature! I really do love taking photos and I enjoy getting to share my love for photography with others and presenting them with custom artwork that I have captured through my lens.
