History

Established in 1990.

The history of Robin’s Nest is much like today’s present Wall Street, et al debacle. The year was 1990, and the economy was staggering under the S & L crisis along with gas lines, wars, etc. Robin was in middle management and lost two jobs back to back during this time; the first because the bank failed, the second because the firm was bought out by a company in New Jersey who had its own corporate management. Enough, she said at last, after realizing she had no heart for another «safe job». She started her own business in an old Victorian farmhouse in Houston’s inner city; a bed and breakfast inn called Robin’s Nest., having not stayed in a bred and breakffast since she was in the U.S. Foreign Service in the 1960s.

Yep, it’s true. Oftentimes a problem is just an opportunity turned inside out.
