We are a family dental office with over 30 years experience in general dentistry including composite and amalgam fillings, endodontics or root canal treatment, prosthodontics: crowns, fixed bridges, dentures and partial dentures; oral surgery, bleaching and preventative treatment. We are a conservative office and strive for minimally invasive treatments when at all possible.

History

Established in 1979.

Dr. Finstad began practicing in 1977 as an associate. Two years later in 1979 he began Ricki L. Finstad D.D.S., Inc., and has been at his current location since 1986.

Dr. Finstad graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in the top 3% of his class. He began Ricki L. Finstad D.D.S., Inc. as a family practice and it remains as such today. Often, he has cared for three generations of patient families which means that many patients have been a part of his practice for over 30 years, and are like family.

Education: Concordia College: 1969 – 1971, University of Houston: 1971−1973 – chemistry major with honors, University of Texas Dental Branch: 1973 – 1977.

Honors: Mosby Award for Scholastic Excellence, Omnicron Kappa Upsilon-​dental honor society, Top 100 UH alumni business award.

Personal: Two daughters, active at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, volunteered at San Jose Clinic, sports coach volunteer for youth, speaks Spanish.
