I come here to have my eyebrows done and every time I have them done I receive numerous compliments about how good they look! I had them waxed for about a year but after being put on Retin Micro I have switched to threading and they turn out just as sleek and, in my experience, stay shaped longer.
The service is excellent, price is cheap ($ 10), and the woman who does it is incredibly friendly. I can’t praise Paradise’s waxer/​threader enough!

PRO: location, clean, short wait
CON: costly, manicure lacks attention to detail… not worth the extra money

Clean facility and friendly staff! Came here one day for a quick pedicure. Some car wash salesman came in and started blabbing to me and the whole nail shop (trying to sale coupons). That was kind of annoying and definitely took away from the experience. They should not allow salespeople to come in and bombard the customers. Other than that, I enjoyed my pedicure and the sweet and friendly staff.

Not worth it. Mani-​pedi that I could have done myself. Nail polish on the skin, nails not buffed, etc. waste of time and money.

I do not consider the $ 15 service I had here a manicure. After an hour, my nails had not yet been polished but were considerably shorter than I wanted them to be, neither squared not rounded. I came here based on the reviews but would never recommend it or return.

I’ve been coming here for years! I moved to the Heights and still come here. It’s clean, friendly and they always do an excellent job. I’ll always come here no matter how far I move!

Paradise Nails is best nail shop in Houston. It’s clean, friendly, prices are reasonable, and most importantly they do a great job.

When debating whether to go to your usual nail place or settle for the convenience of one nearby, I caution you to devote the time it takes to muddle through Houston traffic to go somewhere good.
Though the nail polish selection was good (bright colors for summer + everyday staples in OPI) and I didn’t have to wait for a chair, the spa chair I sat in was broken. The massaging spa chair is important to me, so I asked to sit in another chair. The second chair worked, but just barely. The massage was more like someone breathing on my back. It made me nauseous, do I turned it off. Unfortunately, the massaging apparatus still protrudes through the very worn chairs, making it uncomfortable to sit on.
As far as the actual manicure: lacking in attention to detail. I’d rate the manicure 3.0÷5.0, but the overall experience 2.0÷5.0.
Despite how conveniently located it is, I wouldn’t come back.

Great salon. VERY quiet and very clean. The estheticians don’t talk or gossip in front of the clients. Very good prices too. Definitely coming back after having tried several other places in this neighborhood.

Well I came to this place on New Year’s Eve bc my regular nail salon was short staffed. So I literally set up an apt at 2:30 for this place knowing it was going to be busy. I got to my apt 20 min early got seated and waited till 245 to get my nails started. Now normally when I get a full set it comes with a nice cuticle cut down and I add gelish which I pay about $ 45-​$ 60 total with a tip. This place I got the same service as I always do but walked out paying $ 70!!! That’s without a tip. And the nail job was shitty. The lady filed my cuticle area so raw that it hurts to use that finger. She originally said it was going to be about $ 60. $ 30 for the full set and $ 30 ($ 15 at my regular salon) for gelish. I said that’s with a cuticle cut down and she said yes (my nails needed love so I sat
down). when she tells me it was $ 70 bc $ 10 extra for cuticle
cut down i asked her why when I asked if it was included. She told me she didn’t understand what I asked her. I am never going back to this place. My nails do not look like $ 70 nails.

Excellent service. Quiet, relaxing, and most of all clean. The girls were very sweet and took their time with my gel mani and regular pedi. Slightly smaller establishment but not cramped by any means. Only thing I didn’t appreciate was that some girls were surfing on their phones in front of the customers, but it wasn’t like they were helping any customers but that just doesn’t look 100% good. The girls focused on me and didn’t start speaking to each other for long periods of time, which I can feel is quite unprofessional-​english or any other language. Each technician was in uniform attire, very clean and professional. Slightly more on the price but totally worth it, I’ll be back next time!

I’ve been coming to this salon for the past 7+ years. It’s the only place that takes their time during their services. The attention to detail is impeccable. I recommend this place to anyone looking for quality services. T is the best!!!

Fantastic pedicure by Twerty. Fingernail job was lackluster with some small spots of remaining paint around the edges. Prices are as follows as of 9÷13÷14: $ 15 reg. mani, $ 45 gel mani, and $ 30 reg. pedi. The regular pedi included exfoliation and was very relaxing.

I come here for my eyebrows. I used to go to a place across the street from my apartment but they made me mad. This was the next closest place. I’ve had a 2 different people do my eyebrows and they both did an EXCELLENT JOB. They do threading here too. She usually waxes (because I always wait too long), then threads.
I normally don’t bother with my nails, but I decided to pamper myself one day and got a shellac manicure. It was ok but they didn’t paint all the way down. I hate that. It was also $$$. So for me I’ll go to Leon’s for my nails but this is my place for my brows.

Came here with a friend to get our eyebrows threaded and I did not expect it to be this painful. I thought it was just because it was my first time, but my friend has had her eyebrows done several times before and she also said it hurt a lot.
I can tell that Mary (the lady who threads) is experienced (she has been working for 25 years), but it didn’t seem like she really cared that much and just went to town on our faces. She is super fast though, so this would be a good place to go to in a pinch.
So now I am here writing this review with swelling and bumps on my forehead. I guess my eyebrows look good, but I am not paying $ 10 to do that again.

They destroyed my nails!
I just moved to Houston, needed a manicure, and saw good reviews for this place (I can’t imagine how). I had gel polish on already and needed it removed. These people clearly know nothing about removing gel polish (or at least the woman I got doesn’t). My nails were strong and healthy every time I’ve changed gel polish, but she managed to mutilate them. My nails are now thin, brittle, and the skin beneath them has hurt and been red and ugly for two weeks. On top of that, she did a lousy job with the basics of a manicure. Never again.

Good location, very clean, the staff is nice and helpful. They pay attention to detail and I’ve never had a problem here. Definitely better to make an appointment to avoid a wait, but they do accept walk-​ins. A little pricey, but worth it!

Great service! And very friendly staff! Request Tee! She is the best! She really knows what she is doing and it’s very easy to keep a conversation with her. Overall i was very satisfied with my experience and I defiantly plan on coming back.

Great location, professional technicians, wonderful finished product!
They pay attention to detail and spend the time to do it right, rather than rushing to get the next person in the chair. Reasonably priced, and the base pedicure ($ 30) is sufficient.
It is usually pretty crowded, so you may have to wait, so it’s not always a sure thing on your lunch hour. Avoid peak hours if possible.

I really enjoy this place. I have been back in Houston for a 18 months and this has turned out be the best place in town. I would come here when I didn’t live in the city and was in town for holidays. I have tried so many salons and they never live up to Paradise Nails.
The customer service is always on point. They take the time to do your hands and feet correctly and it is peaceful. I have been to other places that don’t charge as much, but the service has been awful.
Be prepared to pay a little bit more, but it is worth it, so now I just budget for it.
