N-Motion Auto Transport

We found our way to N-​Motion Transport after originally booking the cross-​country move for my Toyota Camry (East Coast to San Francisco) with another company in mid-​December, calling them daily to inquire about the pick-​up, leaving the car entirely at my mother’s house when my own move time finally arrived, car still on the East Coast, and continuing to call Unnamed Other Company to hear things on the daily like, «Oh, tomorrow I’ll call you with the date,» which, of course, never once did I get that call. Finally, almost a MONTH after the original arrangement, and having that full charge appear on my VISA, a recommendation came to try N-​Transport instead. Not kidding, within four days of signing the paperwork, my car was picked-​up, and within FIVE DAYS was across the country, in a covered carrier (huge at this time of winter storms) and so gently delivered to my workplace door. I could not be happier to recommend this company to everyone!

Meagan with N-​Motion was great to work with and the transport of a classic car from MI to TX was perfect. They accommodated a last minute date change even after the transport had been assigned and other changes on the pick up and drop off locations. Meagan is very accessible and insured the transport would be direct, enclosed and hard sided as requested. The car arrived without issue in less than 24 hours after being picked up. Outstanding!

Based on the mostly positive reviews and a convincing initial discussion with Meghan, I booked my car transport from NJ to Texas with N-​Motion. It turned out to be a nightmare.
The first issue came up when the driver I booked for a Saturday pickup arrived at the car dealership one day early (on Friday) and I did not find out via the transport company, but rather a call from my contact at the dealership. Meghan was very apologetic, explained that she didn’t know why that happened, and committed to find another driver as soon as possible. I heard nothing from Meghan for the rest of the day Friday and also through Saturday, so I tried calling and emailing her for an update. When I didn’t receive a response, I tried calling the main number for N-​Motion, and immediately got a message that «the voice mailbox for Joshua is full». I hadn’t worked with a Joshua before so wasn’t sure who this was. When I tried again an hour later, someone picked up with a «Hello?» — I asked if I had reached N-​Motion, which they responded with a «yes.» I explained the situation, and was told that Meghan had left for the day, but I should try her cellphone. When I explained that I left a voicemail already, the response I got was «I have no operations people here, so there’s not much I can do», but I would receive a call back. No one ever called me back. By this time, my credit card was charged the full shipment amount, even though I was promised that my card would not be charged until a driver was confirmed and booked.
On Monday, I was told that a driver would pick up the car between 3 and 5 PM that day. I got a call from the dealership that the driver told them the car would be picked up the following day. Another call to Meghan, that driver was cancelled, and it was back to square one to find another driver. Finally they found someone to pick up the car on Wednesday and thankfully I received the car by the following weekend.
I was appalled at the lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service. Once my credit card was charged and issues arose, both me and the dealership learned about the issues first, and I needed to chase someone down at N-​Motion to inform them of the issues and try and get someone to deal with them. Working with N-​Motion was one of the worst, most frustrating customer service experiences I can remember. Hopefully this review saves someone else from a similarly bad experience.

I really appreciated the effort Meghan put forth in working to ship my daughter’s car from Houston to the east coast. I had a challenging request or two, but she worked to get the car picked up and delivered today as best as possible and it showed up today. Because it involved a third party (the carrier or driver) she made it happened where the car was delivered 1 day earlier than estimated. We had a few telephone chats and I felt assured that she felt confident in meeting our needs without being unreasonable. I felt she had a personal interest in my case as well as for every case she manages. Very thankful the delivery was met.

I have done so much research on auto transport and finally found N Transport. Thank goodness I did. I had no problems whatsoever with this company. They picked up my car the day I wanted and the dropped off the car the day they said. It was a little pricey but it’s worth it. I did not want to pick a cheap company and feel unsafe about my car. Meagan was very helpful throughout this process, she was very prompt via email when I had questions. I would definitely go with this company again. Thank you again!

Great experience with this company! I had to ship my girlfriends car from NJ to NC on very short notice. Megan Mock did her best to get me not only a driver to do so but a very competitive quote. I had never shipped my car before and let me say I think I might have lucked out by finding these guys! I had almost lost my money with another not so reliable company, but luckily I was able to see through the lies before I made that mistake. I called Josh personally at least 4 or 5 times regarding my car and every time he was very helpful and patient with my questions. It was a little more than I had hoped to pay, but in the end, they delivered my car at the same day they said it would be delivered and my car arrived with out a scratch, it was a little dirty though. Also, there was always open communication between the driver and the shipping company which was really worth it’s weight in gold! My car is my baby. Seriously it might be my most prized possession. When I had to move it from Houston to NYC, it was with a lot of trepidation that I tried to find a trustworthy company to arrange the transport. I searched the internet far and wide and read reviews and called for estimates. I finally settled on N-​Motion but I knew I’d be anxious until the car arrived safely.
Mr. Anderson from N-​Motion was helpful, patient, and professional throughout the entire process. He quoted me $ 900+ which was the average rate for reliable transporters and I was able to email the paperwork to him. The great thing about N-​Motion is that they were the only company I found which has a 3 day window, meaning the estimate to pick up your car is within 3 days that you set. Other companies had 5 days or higher and that is totally inconvenient.
A few days before the 3 day window Mr. Anderson called me with information about the transport company. He said if they didn’t call me at a certain time to set the time for pickup, then I should call him back. I ended up calling him back and he had them call me. My window for pickup was Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. On Monday, the transport company called to tell me when the driver would meet me. The driver was right on time and very nice. We walked around my car to check the condition and sign off. He told me my car would be in NY by Friday or Saturday the latest. On Friday the transport company called again when the driver reached NY and a few hours later he was right outside my door with my baby.
Thankfully none of the horrible scenarios I imagine came to pass and my car was in the exact same condition I left it in. Mr. Anderson and the transport company made a potentially stressful process easy with their professionalism and communication throughout. Thank you!
