No. Just no. Don’t ever go to this McDonald’s at the newly built student commons type building(Student Cetners, I think) where they have the Barnes & Noble at the University of Houston. McDonald’s is no Smith & Wollensky’s but even the McDonald’s on Elgin has FARBETTERSERVICE than this location. I went there a little after 5 and kept waiting and waiting and waiting. The workers just kept talking amongst themselves. I did not get my sirloin third pounder until 5:35. By then the food had become cold and not desirable. I scarfed it down because I was late to my class. Never again will I even entertain the idea of stepping into the Student Center for food.

It’s McDonald’s, so you have a basic idea of what to expect. This particular restaurant doesn’t seem to ever have anything made. It doesn’t matter which rush it is, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Somehow it’s a big surprise that people will be ordering breakfast sandwiches in the morning and burgers during the rest of business hours. Go figure! Some days the employees seem to care, others-not so much. And there always seems to be plenty of people on the clock, just not efficiently productive. But, like I said it’s McD’s; it is what it is. So wait in line and get your sometimes happy meal.
