Food served there is great. Reminds me of grandma’s cooking. Atmosphere is somewhat friendly. I did get a lot of stares, I felt out of place even though I am Hispanic. My Spanish is okay but definitely with an American accent and I think I stuck out like a sore thumb. Nonetheless, good food.

This is my second time shopping in Mexican grocery store. I was surprised at how relatively clean, spacious, and organized this place was! I came here to get a bunch of party supplies. I was brought up by Nicaraguans who taught me the value of a good carnicería whenever hosting any kind of party with a grill. — $ 5.74/lb of carne asada(marinated beef fajita, uncooked.)($ 7.89/lb in 2015) — $ 4.14 for 8oz of roasted salsa. — $ 2.09 for 8oz of pico de gallo. — 15 large limes for $ 0.99! What a deal. — $ 2.29-$ 2.99 for a stack of flour tortillas — $ 1.89 for RAW flour tortillas(20/pack in the refrigerated section) ¡Y si usted habla un poco de español son muy amable! Why strain yourself or your wallet? Just shop here! I got everything for 20 people but the chips, cake and drinks — under $ 50.

Good Michoacana near my home. It’s quite big and nice compared to other Michoacanas in Houston. I had their chicharron tacos, barbacoa tacos, and deshebrada tacos. They all were very good except the chicharron was not the way I always have it. This one was fried and was a bit crunchy with not just cueritos. Overall, if you need some Mexican food to shop for or to cook, you can get it here :)
