I’m more accustomed to shop at the branch on Gessner. But this one will do just fine. I think this was the original La Michoacana and never been modified. I was walking around PlazAmericas Mall to find somewhere to eat. I remember La Michoacana normally include a taqueria inside the store. And, I was right. The staff was more amiable than other stores. With a little bit of each language, I was able to order something to eat. This market did not have the usual meat market smell. It was well-stocked with packaged goods on the shelves and lots of fresh meats in the refrigerated display cases. I felt relatively comfortable walking around, without feeling out of place.(In other words, they looked at me as just another customer.) I would consider shop me if I lived in this neighborhood. Since I found a few unique stores in this part of town, they’ll see a «chinito» coming this area often.
