This location is the worse!!! I don’t usually leave comments because I get it. There are bad days but this is the 4th time I’ve been here where the service is horrible. Why do I keep coming when it’s crap? Because I like the wings and I was hoping that it was an isolated incident. Why should I drive to another location because the service is horrible?! FIXTHESERVICE!!! And I’m not asking for anything special; just take my FUCKING drink order at least. I waited 17 minutes, patiently too as I didn’t bother anyone or made a scene. I wanted to see what would take place. I ultimately left and went somewhere else. The girls don’t even seem like they like their jobs; if you don’t then move on so someone else can actually work. I watched servers and cooks dancing and playing on the phone recording a video or something while 3 tables waited including myself. The only service happening was one table because he was flirting or making jokes but they even had to call someone over to which she replied it wasnt her section. 3 other girls were hanging out at the host station doing nothing! Oh, the section belonged to Jardun. Is it her fault? Maybe; maybe not. Her mannerism didn’t exhibit enthusiasm for her job or It may be the manager not doing their job by running the damn restaurant and having the other 3 girls helping her. The service at this location is horrid. Replace the servers or replace the manager. I hate saying that but I can’t stand when you have a job and hate it while others can’t find work!

I’m not sure why people like this place. My wife LOVES it but I just can’t seem to get on board. The service always seems to be alright, the food is ok I guess, and there are plenty of TVs for sure. I bet it’s a good place for game day or something. For some reason I just don’t care for Hooters. Maybe it’s the 80’s outfits or something but for some reason I’ve never been impressed. If you’ve never tried Hooters before you should stop by just to say you did… maybe pick up a shirt or something to prove it. But don’t expect to be blown away by the experience or anything… –McLovin

I used to go to this location when it was off of magnum. The food here is excellent! For the past 17 years I have been getting my wings breaded. I finally started ordering them naked. They are so much better. Today it the hottest wings they offer and I have to admit they were very hot. Food is always fresh and fast. Service is always great. No complaints here at all. Food is so much better than twin peaks and brick house. Some of the best wings you will ever try in Houston Texas

I would break my review into two parts first the quality of the food and second the service provided. It is a wing joint so expectations of high quality food are a little out of place. I love their breaded wings and grilled chicken sandwich. The food has always been good. As far as the service goes it varies. Some waitresses are really good at being attentive and checking. Others appear to be distracted or disinterested in working. Anytime I have had a issue with my waitress I just move to another location or the bar. I wouldn’t go out of my way but if you are in the area its worth a stop.

Not sure what happened here used to be this is a place to come. You had to fight to get in here and now its at about 20% during lunch. The girls don’t smile anymore, they don’t interact. And don’t wait on you it’s just kind of a dried up old place now. Too bad… it used to be fun. Now it’s a geriatrics ward.

I come here frequently with coworkers during the lunch hour on Fridays. Whenever I’ve been here, the service is always good. The food has been great 90% of the time, and the orders have only been messed one a few times, BUT they are ALWAYS corrected at no charge and quickly too. Give this Hooters another try. They’re not so bad.

I’ve been here a few times for takeout orders with my sister. Waitress at the bar was good and the food was fine. This was 2007. I don’t think the service is as good anymore. I bought a calendar in Jan. 2015. The girl, Tiffany, rang it up. Later on my Visa I found someone added tip for themselves – 3.00. Not a nice surprise, Visa refunded my money. If you go here expect minimal service, adequate food, and not much else. It used to have a better vibe. Waitresses are not happy here. Be sure you either add a tip or cross out the form before someone adds a tip for you. IT’s called theft folks – don’t do it ladies.

If you’re gonna have a jukebox. Let your customers play it please. You want to play your own music? Play it at home. Not at the office.

I wanted to give this location another try and NOTHING has changed it has actually gotten worse. The manager is spending more time flirting and playing around with the girls than he is making sure the resturant runs smoothly. I pulled up to the area today to watch the nba playoffs and not to my suprise hooters was the only establishment on this strip that wasnt packed. Walked in and proceeded to the bar where there was open seating. While the majority of the bar was completely open every seat/bar top area was dirty. After much delay they bartended took my order. I look around the resturant and am watching employees sitting around smacking their gum playing on their phones rather than attend to or even greet the customers. After over 45 minutes since i placed my order food finally came out.(If it wasnt for the food they would get 1 star). I JUST watched a employee eat a fry off a customers order at the kitchen window… im done with tis place. Im writing a letter to corporate.

The. Manager Joey is a cool dude… But, the bartenders pour too light of drinks. The food quality is OK. but the wait staff is extremely slow. 15 – 20 between drinks is way to long to wait… They make excuses for everything… The only positive is, if you want to show up late to UFC… U CAN find a seat here. Probably because the service suck rocks and they act like douches… So. NOTIPFORYOU!!!

Worst greeters I have ever encountered and they just opened for lunch!!! Manager was awesome and enthusiatic but girls taking you to your table sucks balls. Felt more welcome at the doctors office, dentist, and post office. I watched as hispanic Girl with thick black glasses had attitude with me and multiple customers. This place needs to remodel the women like they did their interior. TwinPeaks or Brickhouse from now on.

Without a doubt the worst Hooters experience ever. I sat at a nearly empty bar for twelve minutes without as much as an acknowledgment by either of two bartenders. I watched in amazement as they served the same few people over and over while I just waited like I was an empty barstool. This place sucks!

After having an incident, the managers majorly made it up to me and even got a call from corporate. They have new management and they’re terrific. I’m a girl so I don’t go for the ladies, but the chicken is always delicious.

It looks like they have changed out most of their waitstaff. The new additions are a plus as far as looks and service. The crew they had before was meh. I guess they had to step it up with twin peaks destroying them. They were about 30% full during lunch before the changes, they are still only about 65% full now. Even at this occupancy, their kitchen can not keep up. During lunch it might be upwards of 30 minutes to get your food. On Wednesday they do have a pretty solid 10 piece boneless special with curly fries for only 6.99. Our group usually gets at least 1 as a shared appetizer.

Came on Monday night for all you can eat wings and waited ridiculously too long. I understand it’s all you can eat night and most everyone else is ordering them too but this was unacceptable. Total BS! Paid for my buffalo shrimp and left. Got tired of waiting for the wings… unbelievable.

This Hooters is recently renovated. Brand new interior. A LOT of TV’s. I mean, A LOT! This would be the perfect place for you to go watch any kind of sporting events. Just remember that for any major sporting events, you probably want to come early because this place is going to be super packed. Anyway, on to the review! I came here maybe a day or two after the place was done being renovated. I came in a little after lunch time. Probably around 1:30 pm or something like that so the place wasn’t too packed. Unlike the Hooters on Kirby where I always sit myself, there’s a sign here at the hostess desk that says, «please wait here to be seated.» Well, I waited and waited only to notice that all the girls wearing a Hooters tank top that’s not standing behind the bar were busy… TALKING. Yes, talking. One was sitting down at the bar talking to a customer. Another was sitting down at one of the tables sitting at a customer, with another waitress joining their conversation. Another waitress was actually working serving food but she didn’t seem to want to help out. Long story short. Me and my co-worker decided to seat ourselves after all. Screw that«please wait here to be seated» sign! We sat in a booth and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited some more. And then we waited some more. NOBODY came. NOBODY. Finally the one waitress who was actually working told the girl that’s sitting at the table chatting with the customer that she actually had other customers. So she finally came to our table. FINALLY! the service was kind of okay after that. It was just the initial wait for somebody to help us. Hooters is hooters. The fried pickles were as expected and so were the wings. It was lunch time so I couldn’t drink but I’m sure the beer would taste the same with other Hooters locations. So the only thing that would make the difference is the service. Well, the service SUCKED! Next time I come in, I’m just going to sit at the bar and be done with it.

Ugh. all these boobs are disgusting. these wings better be good. I feel sorry for the girls in here. there’s gotta be a better way to make money. My review on the hot wings and soda and fries is… the wings were on the greasy side with no flavor what so ever. the curly fries had no salt on them which left them bland and the soda was flat. this totaled $ 15.wingstop is much better I’m just saying!

Welcome to HOOTERS101. I’ll be your non-discriminitory, objective female professor. LESSON1: ORDERING Naked & grilled Daytona wings. DOIT. Wingsday Wednesday: 10 piece boneless + curly fries for $ 6.99. DOIT. LESSON2: SERVICE Unless you fit the bill of someone who will drop a big tip for the girls, don’t go on Friday or Saturday nights or you’ll get shafted in the service department. I don’t blame the girls for taking extra care of tables of dudes and slacking with the couples getting wings for dinner. For optimal visiting times, refer to notes about Wingsday Wednesday from Lesson 1. FINALEXAM: Sign and send the letter below. Hooters Corporate: Please, for the love of god, design new low-cut, hip-hugger shorts for Hooters girls. This style is much more current fashion-wise, and would avoid the wretched camel toe the mid-rise shorts cause.

Gotta judge this location based only on the food. Not the girls, not the service, just the food and the wings particularly. Please note that I love Hooter wings. To me they have some of the best wings in the industry, IF and WHEN they cook them right. But the key to eating Hooter wings is that you have to eat them in the restaurant, especially the breaded wings. And regardless of that statement, I often get them to go and take that aluminum lid off that softens them as you drive home. My favorite are 3 mile island, extra crispy all flappers. If you order anything else from that, you are on your own. The Hot are pretty good too as it has that buttermilk flavor, but never get medium or mild. Their hot IS medium enough. Also I love a spot that has Mountain Dew on the menu.(Had to slip that in.) There are better locations for Hooters with better wings. Particularly the one on Weistimer and the one on 1960 near 45. Those have better cooks and are more consistent. This location on 290 is just okay and it really depends on the staff as to how good the food is going to be. There is also one on 249 that is Okay but it can get too crowded there. Hoot and Prosper.
