A better drinking option than the hotels in the area but don’t expect very cheap prices. They are there to compete. You definitely get that Texas vibe walking in and the bartenders were very pleasant. A few options for food in the area too and they will bring it to the bar for you.

For what it is, this place kills it. What it is: a saloon. If you’re looking for beer, wine, liquor at a fair price, this place is for you. They have friendly and fun bartenders to keep your glass full. Jukebox music, pool, darts. What it isn’t: a 5 star restaurant… or a restaurant at all. They don’t serve food! But… in the same plaza there are at least three restaurants that do carry out. The best of them is Gumbo Jeaux’s right next door and after you walk over and order, they will bring it to you at the bar. This is a fun place to blow off steam or just chill. My favorite«airport» bar in Houston.

We stopped by just to kill some time before our flight. First impression, you can tell the place had been scrubbed down. No stale beer smell at all which was a surprise because other reviews describe this place as a dive bar. The place was practically empty and the bartender was super nice to us. Beer was cold and cheap, and they had the football game on. They don’t serve food but let you bring it in from one of the many little restaurants close by.

Nice cold beer while waiting for family to arrive at the airport. The bar smells like sewage. I’m not a smoker but it would probably smell better if people smoked. Invest in some fragrance please.

What a great dive. If you expect Romantic or fancy then this place is not for you. If you want to walk in with flip flops or a cowboy hat then you will fit in. It is a dive. They have a decent draught beer selection. Everything from BUD heavy to BUD light. Fat Tire. I had an excellent IPA. Probably 8 – 10 beers on tap plus a bottle selection, and liquor selection. They have some poker machines, a pool table, some darts, and a jukebox. There is absolutely no food served here, but they will allow you to bring outside food in. Prices are way better than the surrounding hotels. Bartenders are always happy. Fun place I have frequented for the last 7 years. Great time every time.

I give it NO stars, it was that horrible! The bartender is so rude. Attitude is terrible, I believe she was racist, when I went to order my dunked, I was with my Make White friend. She didn’t acknowledge me and kept looking at him like I was irrelevant… I won’t go back!!! P. s I had to give it one Star because Unilocal made me

Very clean old school country saloon. We stopped by for a couple drinks and ended up staying till closing because the bartender Melissa was super friendly offered great drink suggestions, perfect drinks, and amazing service. She is among the best bartenders in town. Very laid back attmosphere to have a drink or play some pool. Will be back again when on this side of town. Perfect bar to go to unwind after a long flight.

We came looking for a fun time, but the place was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night. There were only a few other patrons, and no music playing for the first hour we were there. Suddenly it kicked in the second hour. They don’t serve any food, but let you bring it in from other places(on a Saturday night, your only choices in the strip mall are Subway or Chinese). They have a decent selection of beer, but literally only one pitcher. The server/bartender was really nice, but the place was just lacking in so many areas. I think we’d have been better off at a hotel bar.

Came here with a bunch of co workers(today) staying at the Sheraton for drinks and conversation, but was greeted by a very rude bartender. My friend asked for a light beer and the bartender responded that she«didn’t have time to tell her the selections and needed specification on the type of beer.“The bar was not busy and did not have a menu or proper lightning to view what was on draft. She was completely rude and ruined the experience. Do yourself a favor and drop by a hotel bar instead. Bad customer service.

Kinda divey local bar but I liked it. Last night we stopped by Gumbo Jeaux’s for dinner and chose to take out food next door as Jeaux’s does not have liquor. Hence — we wound up at Hoot County Saloon. Nice place actually with a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Drinks were strong and priced appropriately. Waitress/bartender was friendly and obviously this bar had no attitude. I liked it and I will be back.

Good place, friendly folks, cold beer & good prices. Good places very close you can bring food in as they don’t serve any. Smoking area outside, you can take your drinks. Some local craft beers on tap. What more can you ask for?

For how many hotels are around this place and the lack of other bars, I cant believe how dead this place is. I have been multiple times and rarely is there more than a handful of people there. Dont get me wrong the ones that are there are friendly and all but it wouldnt hurt to have a few other people to rub elbows with. The bartenders are good. Sometimes they gravitate and talk to the regulars but that is to be expected. Worst part about this place is that if you do not feed the shinny music box then there is no music playing. Just the lonely sound of the beer hitting your belly. I will be back there but just because there really isnt any other options out by the airport. Oh and there is a rub and tug place next door, fun for a giggle to see the guys come out and do the walk of shame.

THEREWAS A COWGRAZINGINTHEBACK. Moo? And, there was an impromptu driving range right where I saw the cow. Golf? This is also literally where IAH is — we were looking for a quick drank and this was a better option than a hotel bar. And since the La Quinta that my friend’s company had put her up in(baller!), didn’t have a bell hop running up to get the luggage… I know, pipe dream. Knew we’d be finding options elsewhere. This place is legit in the following ways: 1) Lots o eye candy. The male to female ratio is highly favorable to females with many ages to choose from. Most of the females at this bar are working behind the bar(at least the time I visited anyway). 2) CHEAPDRANKS! $ 3.50 Crown and Diet? Nice, bra! 3) There is a horse in the corner and a working piano next to it. 4) Outdoor seating in the front and in the back. 5) A clean head for the ladies. I appreciate a clean place to rest my laurel as does every lady visiting a toilet.
