Fantastic service great food. Would commend anyone leaving the cruise to hit this place up while waiting for return flight!
Meri/​Boston was the best. She entertained me for hours why I was there. Top notch employee right there!

The staff, food, décor and drinks are amazing but however the type of people here are some pricks. Almost got into a fight here with a drunk guy and all of the security and bouncers were in the front, if i was also drunk I doubt I would of walked away and one of us would be hauled off to jail.. This is Texas some of us have CHLs, the security’s main job is to prevent fists from flying. Other than that the staff has been great but this place is a ticking time bomb for something to get escalated. The drinks were poured well but that may of just lead to that. Please spread out your security for peak hours on weekends

I think I will give this place another try sometime, as it’s a great spot to go and hang out to avoid the rush hour traffic when picking up peeps at the airport!
They have a large parking lot, so that was easy. The interior was really nice — very rustic/​industrial, which is way my thing when it comes to a casual place to go. It was nice and cool inside, which on a hot day is a good thing. BAD part — smoking inside! Yup — place smelled like an ashtray and was clouded with smoke and you can guarantee you will too if you sit inside. So we opted for the huge patio area. There were tons of spaces to pick from with lots of shade.
We ordered a few beers from a really sweet waitress and showed her the free chips/​salsa/​queso that you get on Unilocal when you check in here. She came back quickly to tell me they were out of the Santo, so that only left one other local brew to pick from. They have the crap ass basic (Miller, Coors, Etc.), but when you have so many Texas brews to pick from — you really should have more on tap! Hopefully next time the Santo will be flowing! Our chips came out and alas, no queso. I didn’t say anything since they were free… can’t be too demanding now can we. But we also ordered the sampler with onion rings, pickles and egg rolls. I asked if the eggrolls were vegetarian and was told yes, but they aren’t people — they got chicken in them! My man ate them right up and I let our waitress know, so she would be more informed next time someone asked. But we also got the «we’re out of pickles». Poor girl, she felt so defeated every time she had to come back and say, ‘sorry we don’t have that’. Oh well, we opted for the jalapenos and they were great! Nice light crisp batter with fat penos inside. They have Titos vodka as well, which did make me happy.

Atmosphere is great, but food wise it is horrible ! Asked for a Philly cheesesteak and they «were out». So I had the chili fries and wings. The fries were very plain nothing good & as for the wings as well. The drinks were definitely made perfect each time. Just looks very unprofessional that they serve them in plastic red solo cups or plastic glass looking cups. The service isn’t that great. All in all definitely just a place to have a couple drinks & that’s about it.

Went here a couple of months ago with a couple of friends. It was freezing so we didn’t hang out on the patio long, I bet it’s amazing now since it’s warmer. There was hookah and the DJ played a mix of hip hop and Latin music.
The drinks were moderately priced. The night ended with 2 drunk guys fighting but we had a good night.

I went on a Saturday night after 11pm when the Dj would be there. He played Latin and hip hop music. It was a rainy night yet still a decent sized crowd. I agree with the other reviews. Everyone is chill and the bouncer was pretty cool. Bartender made great drinks and We expected to pay much more than what we did. $ 19 for 5 decent sized drinks total.
I’m taking one star away because of the décor. The place is very rundown and old and from the outside you expect to walk into like a biker club or something but the crowd was mixed and slightly young, yet mature. Also taking a star because they weren’t serving food anymore and an argument broke out. Some people were thrown out and Cops even had to come. Regardless it was fun and I will be back soon! :)

This place seems like it would be a good spot to hang out on a sunny day in Houston. It was a little sketchy at night, but seems like it would be great in the daylight. There’s an awesome back patio with cornhole and jenga. Lots of outdoor seating out front and in the back.
The menu is pretty much your standard bar fare. Wings, mozzarella sticks, burgers, and sandwiches – you get the drill.
I don’t know if this place is really a four star spot like people have listed it, but maybe my food snobbery self was expecting more of a restaurant rather than a bar since it’s called «bar and grill». It’s a bar. Noted.

First time i came to this place was on Sunday, couple of my friends live near that bar so I was like what the heck?! at first I was a bit skeptical since I automatically judge it as a biker bar, but once i went inside I loved it! The ambience is awesome, but i definitely digged the patio! Plenty of space, nice cozy seating, and just a great place to hang out (not necessarily bikers either lol) I asked the bartender for a Vodka Sunrise and what did you know? It came out perfect! I drank a couple of them and beers too their pitcher is only $ 8 which is very affordable!
I will most definitely come back here to hang and have a couple of drinks without breaking the bank!

Amazing food and atmosphere. Waitresses are beautiful and service is great. Cold cold beer. Wish we had this in California. The bar has swveral screens wirh all the games. Patio in back as well, owner is amazingly beautiful. Went with a few colleagues and had fun.

Close to home, no cover to get in, a dance floor, pool tables and clean restrooms all in one! The dance floor was full but not crowded! DJ was playing good music and there was a hug fan to keep you cool while busting your moves! Only drawback is the cigarette smoke inside, but it’s not so smoky you’re choking! I would definitely go back again!

They seem to have a small wait staff. We went for a party and I had to keep asking and getting our drinks for us.
But other than that the place was very fun and clean. It’s a good place to hang out and here old and new hip hop music with a live dj.
They have a full menu and we had the fried mushrooms and southwest egg rolls. The southwest egg rolls were delicious bit the fried mushrooms needed some flavor.
Other than that good music with dj tj and atmosphere. They are closed on Monday. Everyday they have happy hour. Thursday is Tejano night. And Saturday they have a live dj from 10 pm to 2am. This place is awesome and has a great hang out atmosphere.
Wish they had a Latin night. I would come more often. If they would play tropical music.

My girlfriend and I were kind of second guessing it when we arrived. But the music was awesome and the employees were very attentive. Love the drinks and really love the whole thing about no drama or fights. Love that. The people were very friendly. Like the show cheers. If you want fun and laughter, come here.

We’re always on the look-​out for a great «dive» bar where we can just relax and enjoy a drink, and an acquaintance of mine told me about this place… so we decided to stop by the other day. The parking is fair as long as there isn’t any sort of event going on because I’m sure it’ll fill up pretty quickly.
You could say its kind of a «biker bar», but it still has that feel of just a neighborhood bar because of the back patio area and his their seating is arranged. We met some friends and had a few drinks, got some food and talked to the manager for a few minutes about some things. If you like being going to a bar and just sitting around in 60 degree weather, this might not be the bar for you because even though the A/​C is on inside the building, it’s pretty much open to the back patio most of the time from what I can tell.
I love that they have games in the back to entertain yourself on a lazy Sunday afternoon, but they also have a nice stage for local bands.
I tried the wings which were pretty much the same kind of wings you can get anywhere else… nothing special, but they didn’t mess them up… so that’s a plus! LOL

One of the nicest local bars in the area with a great patio and plenty of sitting area to relax with friends. Good drink selection and the food is great too… They are known for their burger. Service is sometimes spotty depending on who you get. My #1 spot to go in the Humble/​Spring/​Kingwood area.

Came here a couple times for a few. They were showing the Texans game Saturday. Good set up, really good DJ started once the game was over. I like the garage doors in the front. Bartender said when the weather’s really nice they let them up.
I think the best thing about this place is the patio. It’s huge & staged really well. Has a big outdoor couch in the covered section, plus a lot of tables throughout deck. A couple of pool tables out there. They had a few TV’s out there too.
Service was quick, but have a feeling it was due to the group sittin next to us. Oh, the ladie’s room has been very clean each time I’ve gone. They seem to stay on top of it.
Good mixed crowed… saw everything from suits to hardcore bikers. Prices seemed decent, but then again, I really wasn’t paying due to a guy that was flirting w/​one of the ladies w/​me. LOL ;-)

I was actually kind of shocked by what The Runway has to offer. I’d always pass by and see a crowded lot but I had no idea how spacious it was back there.
I wasn’t there for long but I see myself going back to kick back in that large patio area during the cooler months.

eehhh, I am really unsure on where to begin. This bar looks like it would be more fun than it truly is. Maybe its because the majority of the clientele are bros, (late 20 somethings who are still living in the collegiate days) and what seem to be underage scantily dressed young ladies there for a free drink.
Alas, every bar is what you make it and the runway has a lot of material to work with. There is a nice clean interior with a dash of dive but the patio is awesome. There is built in booth areas as well as free standing tables for parties of 6 or more. I’ve seen outdoor activities from bonfires to jumbo jenga. All the makings of a splendid good time.
They do enforce a very strict dress code. We found this out one night when a large group of us showed up, one of my friends «Lunchbox» had on a plain white t and was told he could not enter because it was «gang related». Seriously, this big dude with the nickname Lunchbox looks like a hardened criminal to these people? Eventually the owner came out and let us in, white shirt and all. The only people exempt from the dress code is the young female bartenders/​waitresses. I wouldn’t be surprised if one day a pubic hair ends up in my drink.
Karaōke is one of the best thing that is offered here. Usually all of us get pretty toasty and take a hack at the mic. I have one friend that has a large amount of skill in the vocal department (Axl Rose would be proud of his rendition of Paradise City and snake walk) and the dj made him sing multiple songs in a row, I suppose due to the lack of participation from the other bar patrons.
Don’t go out of your way to go to this bar but it is one of the better in the area (which says a lot about the area).

The crawfish gets 4 stars but the not so great service brought the overall score to 3.
Went in on Saturday afternoon with some friends for some crawfish and it was a win. They were $ 5/​lb and between 5 of us, we gobbled up 14 lbs. They come with the standard corn and potatoes.
Our waittress is prob a nice girl but is not very attentive. She didn’t know what their «definition» of domestic beer was nor did she know if there were any drink specials. She spent so much time flirting with a guy from another table, that my girl Angie had to go to the bar for a beer run. When they brought the crawfish out, she didn’t bring us any plates to put the crawfish on or even wax paper, a basket, or even newspaper (which is how we do it at home). She did bring us trash buckets for the crawfish AFTER we had to ask for them.
Back to the crawfish — def fresh and big. They were spicy but not very juicy (for those that like to suck the heads).
Another drawback is they use plastic glasses so the beer doesn’t get as cold.
They have a full bar. It’s a cleaner and nicer version of an ice house. They also serve other types of food — burgers, sandwiches, etc.
I heard they get busy at night but it seems they are fairly slow in the afternoons.
Overall, I’d go back for the crawfish bc they were yum and be prepared for the not so great service.

I’ve been to this place twice so far, both fridays, and I have to say that I LOVE IT. Usually a bar is just a «meh» place for me to chill with friends and get drinks. Runway on the otherhand is fun!
No cover the days I’ve been which is always great, and the drink prices are average for a bar. not cheap, but not expensive. Our group usually gets a few buckets of bud light at $ 15.00 each. Dos Equis are $ 4.00 each. Those are the only prices I remember. The bartenders are really nice too which makes the experience much better.
A lot of bars tout about having a DJ and it turns out to be a hipster with a laptop opened to itunes on shuffle, but this place has an awesome DJ. He plays hits from the 80s– today! More of an emphasis on recent music of course, but its always fun to hear some old school stuff like Michael Jackson, Beastie Boys, and Dead or Alive!
The dance floor is tiny, but enough! Its not a night club lol It doesn’t get too crowded, and even if theres a bunch of people, the tables might get moved for a bit more dance space!
The Patio is huge! Its awesome. Being winter I chose to stay inside most of the time, but come spring and summer I think I’d really enjoy it!
Oh yeah, I’ve been twice both on fridays, and sometime after 1AM they offer $ 2.00 buttery nipples. Take advantage because they’re good and strong! 2 weeks ago it was $ 2.00 buttery nipples and patron shots, but this past Friday I only heard the offering for buttery nipples.
All in all its a great find and I definitely will be returning in the future!
