What makes it 4 stars is the turkey. It’s super tender and the best turkey I’ve tasted. I also like the sides here because all of them are good. They have one of the best coleslaw here. It’s fresh, crunchy, and not runny with dressing. They also have fried okra(this is one of my fav sides) and corn on the cob(they don’t skimp on the size of that corn!). For $ 9.60 + tax plate you can get a choice of meat plus 2 sides and a piece of toast. The brisket is alright here. It’s also very tenders and falls off into your mouth when you take a bite. I also recommend getting the loaded baked potato with chopped beef. It’s huge and stuffed with the goods for only $ 6.85 + tax. This place is pretty old but the food is not bad.
