History

Established in 2007.

I am a video installation artist. A friend of mine suggested I design t-shirts that went with my installations, since installation work is not really marketable. From this, I started curating Micro Shops in gallery spaces when I had a solo exhibition. I would curate small works from artists and set up this space called «Art Star». Eventually, I met enough artists that were working in design as well as fine art, enough to open my own shop. The artists I work with use sweatshop free and/or fair trade/fair wage products, which is dear to my heart. Many of the artists at Hello-Lucky use upcycled material. We strive to be an Eco and Compassionate business, reusing materials and working with local non-profits-such as Friends For Life-www.nokill1.org
