My husband and I went to Fuji last night for the first time. I read the reviews here to help us decide on what to try and we were not disappointed! Monkey brains app was delicious! The sushi rolls were fresh with great flavor and presentation. The ambiance is nice and jenny our waitress was sweet! We will definitely go back because the teriyaki dinners smelled amazing!

Best sushi place I’ve ever been to! The monkey brains were the most delicious concoction I’ve had at any restaurant. The ginger sauce on the salad… mouth watering. I’ve never enjoyed lettuce so much. The ingredients are ALL fresh. This place is amazing. Check it out!

Fantastic Sushi! Definitely come here for sushi. This is our 5th time here and every roll we have tried is yummy. Great artistic display and every roll looks like a work of art. I love their onion soup has lots of fried onions, right amount of mushrooms, and the broth is so fresh and yummy. Apps: Monkey Brains — highly recommend we’ve gotten them every time. The flavor combo makes them addicting. I love the avocado mixed with crab and creamy sauces and a light fry on outside. Jalapeño lagoon — right amount of spice kick from sliver of jalapeño cooled down with cream cheese. Gyoza — we’ve tried each way and found our fav to be deep fried. It gives them a great crunch but not greasy at all. Sushi– we’ve had every one under the lunch combo. Our fav here are the Miami Heat, Louisiana crunch, angry bird, spicy crawfish. Today we tried some rolls off the main menu– Lonestar, Florida dragon roll, my fuji, and the king lobster. All 4 of us shared these and all agreed each was yummy but hands down fav was the King Lobster! Lonestar had a nice kick with the jalapeño then thin and perfectly cooked beef on top. My fuji– had shrimp with sauce piles on top of the roll. Florida dragon — avocado on top and so yummy. King lobster — tempura lobster cooked well and nice crunch for this roll. I love hot green tea and here you have 3 options. I tend to get the ginger peach.

My family and I have been coming here since their pre opening. Never disappoints. We have exceptional service every time, the food is reasonably priced and delicious. We always get the salmon nigiri, by far the best in the area!

This place has amazing sushi!!! Took the family and everyone was happy. I personally had the Texas Longhorn roll and my gosh!!! So stinking delicious! The wife got a special ordered Peppered Tuna roll and she raved about it. Kids chicken teriyaki was good as well.(I sampled it!) one of my boys got some kind of soup and Wow to it! Definitely coming again and again!!!

Update: returned and tried the Tonkotsu again and it wasn’t the same. When I let the waitress know, they were sure to re-make it better and take it off my check which I appreciated greatly as I didn’t expect it at all. I do enjoy the place, but the yakisoba(my fiancé enjoys) is not authentic to what I know. He has had it twice. The spicy edamame is incredible and is a sure bet if you like a nice kick! We enjoyed a nice chat with the staff and the head chef who is incredibly accommodating to your tastes if you request something specific. We are literally across 249 from this place and will surely be regulars. Great experience! We tried the Monkey Brain appetizer(not literal), the veggie tempura, Tonkotsu ramen and chicken yakisoba. Drink refills were nil, but our server was the only one on the floor and we were okay, though hopefully next time that will improve. The overhead music was a surprise as we walked in to Drake’s «Hotline Bling.» Overall the entrees were delicious but we would like to explore the appetizers more. The shrimp tempura we saw going to other tables looked phenomenal. This is a very new place, so I am sure once they get into the groove we can anticipate better service, but for our first time I feel confident we will return. Thanks!

My boyfriend and I wanted to try a new sushi place and Fuji Sushi did not disappoint. I’m out of town from California, visiting for the holidays, and this is some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. After having the best Spicy Edamame ever, we asked for recommendations and ended up trying the following rolls: My Watch, Hunger Games, Firecracker and Calypso. I was excited about trying the Calypso roll with the different fish it offered but was nervous it had so much going on. Each flavor really shines and had a perfect balance. Our favorites were definitely My Watch and Hunger Games. The restaurant was very classy inside with tasteful décor and music, the presentation was beautiful, and our server, Jenny, was sweet and welcoming, providing wonderful recommendations. We will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I love Fuji! They just opened, and we’re always looking for tasty sushi. The quality of the sushi here is excellent. We had the Spring Forest roll, the Hunger Game roll, the Nemo roll, and the Spicy Yellowtail roll. I would recommend all of them! I can’t wait to try other rolls on the menu. The service is friendly. The dress is casual, but I feel like you could also have a nice dinner here. The atmosphere is modern and casual. Fuji is our new favorite sushi place!

So happy to finally find good sushi in Texas! We went on a Friday night and everything was great. There’s a nice atmosphere and the service was quick. We had a Hawaiian roll(coconut shrimp with mango and avocado on top), a Rainbow roll, and a Philadelphia roll. It was all so fresh and the presentation was beautiful! The rolls were a good size and the prices were decent. Would definitely get all 3 of those again, and especially loved the uniqueness of the Hawaiian roll. This will definitely be our new go-to sushi place!

Delicious and beautiful décor. They have a whole section on the menu for cooked sushi, which is amazing for a prego who loves sushi. The spicy edamame was seasoned perfect and was delicious. We will be back for more!

I ordered the Teriyaki Steak(Medium Rare) & Fried Rice; Dinner Portion $ 13.95(includes small cup of soup and fresh side salad). Steak is served on a steaming hot skillet with thinly sliced grilled onions, carrots and sesame. Meat is well marbled, tender and juicy. Sauce is loaded with flavor but not over powering. Great dish if you enjoy a good teriyaki steak and aren’t in the mood for sushi.

Surprisingly great sushi from this unassuming small place in a shopping center. Best in the area. They have good deals for lunch, but even their normal prices are not bad. Even though we got the lunch special, sushi was artfully plated on large flat trays, with all sorts of vegetable decorations. Most elaborate I’ve ever seen. Felt way fancier than a place next to Specs should be. Tasted amazing too. They don’t skimp on ingredients. Very filling. Tasteful modern décor. Friendly service. Chef even came by to see if we liked everything. They have other items on the menu besides sushi, such as ramen, that other customers seemed to enjoy. Will definitely be back to try those.
