Absolutely terrible customer service… many times I just want a fruit cup and get out but they are not ready by 7am! On the rare times I want a bagel, the staff is quite rude by pushing customers to order at the cashier… after repeating the order a few times over. I am surprised this place is still opened. Stay away…

On 10÷10÷15 I had a bad experience at this location. The place was dirty, almost every table was dirty. The staff was non responsive, talking almost them self rather than engaging in customer contact– I had to wait until they finished their personal conversation until they could take my order. I notified Einstein Help Line TWICE!!! Both times I was informed that I would be a response – no acknowledgment.

Came here on a Sunday right before noon. I had a gift card that had been sitting around for about a year so I figured was time to use it. On the way there I started craving bagels so I was getting excited! I typically go to the Bagel Shop in Meyerland, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from a chain. Boy was I in for a surprise. I walk in craving my «everything bagel» only to be highly disappointed that they were out of almost every single flavor. See my photo. Hello! BAGELSISINTHENAMEOFYOURESTABLISHMENT and you have like 5 in stock with almost every basket empty! It’s a Sunday and don’t most people crave breakfast/brunch on weekends? I’m so confused! This location has been around for ages. How are they not prepared for Sunday? I ended up getting a whole wheat bagel with egg and cheese. Not by choice, but because that was pretty much all they had. It comes out and I see the puniest, saddest looking bagel I’ve seen in my 40 years of existence. I could get better looking frozen bagels at the grocery store. To top off my more than exciting experience, the sandwich was flavorless. The manager did bring out a surprise treat because they were obviously backed up. out of just about everything. Now how they were backed up was beyond me. There were only about 10 people in the store. You’d REALY have to convince me to come back to this place…

This is the absolute worst location of Einsteins I’ve ever been to and and no longer coming back. Almost every time(literally) they get my order wrong. The employees are always complaining at each other and the customer service is a disaster. I have given them so many chances and they still under-perform constantly. Who is the owner of this franchise and where the hell are they?

Yes, these are wonderful bagels, but the service is terrible. Attendants do not greet you, don’t ask if you will be dining in or to go, they certainly do not go out their way to make you feel welcome.

This has become a Sunday morning trip for me lately. I love that they have green chili bagels — they are delicious with garlic/herb spread. My husband loves the apple/cinnamon with honey/almond, which is equally good. The service has always been quick and efficient — easy in and out — plus it is light on the wallet — 2 bagels for $ 6.

Wow what chaos. I love Einsteins but this store is terrible. I was picking up a catering order one Saturday morning and they did not have the order ready. I spent the next half hour waiting at the place and observing what was going — it was mayhem. No one was happy, customers getting frustrated, servers looked busy but there were also several in the back that didn’t seem to be doing much. I could quickly see that our order would probably not come out right. It didn’t. Missing lots of items and everything late. And our order was for $ 200! I definitely won’t be coming back here. Incidentally I also had to pick up something at a nearby Shipley’s — so much better!

Truly awful location. The employees are extremely inefficient and they do not make their menu items the way they are supposed to be made. For example: Today I ordered 2 southwest egg white turkey sausage sandwiches. They are supposed to be on a plain bagel THIN(which I was told they were out of) and come with pepper jack cheese. I had them substitute for a wheat bagel, given the plain bagel shortage,(which they did, but it was not a bagel thin), and one of my sandwiches had the correct cheese while the other had a slab of yellow cheese that isn’t a listed ingredient. To top it off, I had 2 plain bagels in my bag that I found when I got home(the order was to go). They were«out» of plain bagels, yet they gave me 2 plain bagels and made our sandwiches on different bagels. Completely inefficient! And the wheat bagel really messed up the sandwich.

Came here today, on a fairly busy Saturday morning. The place was clean, parking was decent. I stood in line less than 3 minutes. While in line, a nice lady took my order before u even got to the register. When I got there, the gentleman took my order quickly and accurately. He even went and got me a fresh orange juice. My order was just fine when I left. The turkey sausage and cheddar isn’t that great though, the sausage tastes funny. Other than that, no complaints.

Incredibly inefficient location. Big sign that says«Order», and apparently you are supposed to order at register. A frequent visitor said that its been that way for 3 years… And then he said, except when they decide to take an order there. Saw multiple people confused. Under staffed facility. If you are in a hurry, not the place to stop.

It’s after 930am after rush hr. I’m standing at the order line for about 10 minutes — no greets or «you may place your order here» A line gathers behind me and NOONE bothers to tell the guests to move forward. I then move to the«pay here» to order. The Young lady asked me how can she help me: I proceeded to let her know that just letting guests know to move forward that are waiting in line at the order here would be helpful. She ignored me and acted like I said nothing at all. First ever bad experience at. Einstein’s brothers bagels-hope it doesn’t happen again.

I been coming to this location off and on since they opened; mostly on the weekends. It’s out of my way during the weekdays’ morning commute. Anyway, I start with the staff. There’s always one – her name escapes me – that always has a smile on her face. The others are hit or miss; I guess it depends on what time you arrive. But, to compare them to the other staff at another Einstein Bros. Bagels location nearby, they have a much better attitude without the snobbery. Second, the wait of service. If you want to beat the Sunday soccer parents, come there early before 10:00am. I was here today before that time, and service was awesome! I received my plain bagel with honey almond shmear before reaching the cashier to pay! And that’s a rare feat nowadays. And lastly, the food. I don’t think I have had a bad experience here. The bagel and shmear was very good. The coffee had a little bite to it, but I’m not complaining. They did run out of half and half, but I substituted it with skim milk. All in all, this location is my go-to place for bagels.

Very rude customer service. The girl asked me twice if I was ready while i was still clearly looking. Once I was ready and walked over she walked away to talk to one of the other Co workers. When I asked her about the bagels she told me «there, right in front of you.» I had never been to an Einstein before but won’t go back to this one just based on service. Good bagels though.

I have probably been to Einstien Bagels over 200 times in my school career. Good bagels but oh let me tell you. Worst customer service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. If you think you can get in and out with your bagels in 7 minutes you are dead wrong. Expect it to be more like 15. Oh Einstein how many tardies you have gotten me. Plus expect to smell like a burnt piece of cheese for the rest of the day when leaving.

Extremely slow, 5 people and only one cashier open. It seemed that restocking the milk was more important than the 6 people in line waiting. Really dirty. Bagels on racks with flies flying around.

I work nearby and usually love Einstein Bros bagels, so I’ve dropped in here a few times now. and every single time, I have been greatly disappointed. First of all, it takes them a minimum of 15 minutes to put together a simple bagel. Don’t swing by with the intention of picking up a quick lunch. Second of all, they are ALWAYS out of ingredients. 3⁄3 times I’ve been here, they’ve been out of something. once, they were out of regular plain bagels. the most basic staple any bagel shop should have. The last time I went, I ordered their smoked salmon bagel. one of their pricier menu items. After paying and having waited 15 minutes, I was told they were out of the smoked salmon, and they would have to make me another sandwhich. Since I had already paid, I didn’t want my money to go to waste and I ordered to regular salmon bagel(but I’m not a huge salmon fan, only when it’s smoke and has some flavor to it). Needless to say, it was not good. If they had just told me when I had ordered that they were out, I would have ordered something else I actually liked. Definitely never going here again, and don’t recommend that anyone does! They need new management!

If you read the other sub-par reviews about the speed of service, then be forewarned that you should go here when it’s not peak breakfast times and or you’re in a rush. Luckily, I came when traffic was light, but my one little bagel took about 10 minutes to prepare. By then, a number of customers had created a line and put orders at a standstill, so I have the same thoughts as the other Unilocalers – DON’T COMEWHENYOU’REIN A RUSH. This was my first time eating at an Einstein Bros, which I always thought was more of a breakfast joint, but looking at the menu, they’re trying to branch out and attract lunch and dinner patrons who love bagels. They are even premiering the bagel dog to promote post breakfast and brunch crowds. However, for my first visit, I decided to stick to a more traditional bagel meal and order the Turkey sausage, egg, and cheese bagel. Slathered with salsa, pimento cheese, and a healthy portion of eggs, this bagel is stacked to satisfy one’s appetite. I think I was full most of the day after eating this meal around 1:30. However, the turkey sausage had ZILCH flavor. The texture of the turkey sausage was a little rubbery as well. Mind you, I am a fan of turkey sausage and bacon, so I’m use to both the texture and taste. I wouldn’t even identify the meat product in this particular sandwich as turkey. Luckily I was able to taste it without pay thanks to my eclub bday coupon. I did have to pay for my drink to redeem the coupon, which was absolutely delicious. For $ 2.25, the homemade blackberry lemonade is worth every penny. Not too sweet, but not too tart either. It was also very smooth too without a bitter taste of pulp and rind from the lemon. A superb beverage to sip on a summer day – just wish there was more of it. As far as the atmosphere of the restaurant goes, it’s okay. Streets and shopping centers are the landscape surrounding this restaurant. Tables were not very clean, but not filthy. Beverage area could have been a little tidier, but the workers were friendly, patient, and courteous. Overall, I give this place a 3(I was having a good day :)

Worst Einstein bagels ever. This place is completely unorganized and I think the manager took my order and still got it wrong. The girl next to him remembered it better than he did and tried to fix it but I still got the wrong sandwich. I’m contemplating taking it back. Matter a fact I am going to take it back because I’m not going to eat it. I won’t be going here again no matter how close it is to work.

Green Chile & Turkey Sausage Panini, is the largest sandwich I have seen from Einstein’s and that is about the only positive thing to mention about it. Sausage had little flavoring, green chili lacked spice, tasted gritty and dry, and the eggs were rubbery, and I did not finish the sandwich. The price hovered around $ 6 which was high considering the lack of quality in the breakfast.

Is it a New York bagel? No. Is it close? Not really. But it’s one of the most decent bagels in Houston. Today was my worst experience. The girl taking my order rushed me so I was unable to really specify on things. I order lox and bagel everytime, usually on a thin with reduced fat, no onions or tomatoes. Tomatoes were still there. The lox was cut poorly and not really across the entire bagel. There was way too much cream cheese«schmear» and only like 5 capers on each bagel. So today’s experience would get a 2 at best. But this is the only time I’ve had it happen. So I’ll leave it as a three.
