I’ve been to several lash studios in Houston and Tammy is by far the best. Her attention to detail is remarkable. First of all, you can tell that hygiene and overall cleanliness is important to her as soon as you step in. The last place I went to before Couture Lashes was in the back of a sketchy looking nail salon and looked very unsanitary. Tammy lets you keep the lash brush she uses on you so you’re comforted in knowing that it has only been used by you. I love that when I’m complimented on my lashes, people can’t even tell they’re not real… they always say they wish they had long and healthy lashes like mine lol! I bought a Groupon for this place, and Tammy is great! She is very professional and kept me at ease through the entire session. This was my first time getting extensions (and a refill 2 weeks later) and it could not have been any more pleasant. My lashes looked great — even as they started to fall out, they still kept a pretty appearance. None of the lashes were clumpy, and she put them on neatly and evenly! I probably won’t keep up with eyelash extensions because they are too costly for me, but if this is your first time, give Tammy a try!

I’m not the type to get eyelash extensions, however I thought I’d treat myself before going on vacation. Her studio is located inside of Uptown Salon, I was confused at first because I was looking for a store called Couture ilashes. I was greeted upon my arrival by someone at the front who also offered me water. The first thing I noticed was how clean the room was when I entered, Tammy’s studio. I felt very at ease. Tammy was recommended to me by my cousin, so I just told her that I wanted the same extensions that she had. I did wear contacts to my appointment and she had plastic cups for me to take my contacts out, luckily, I had eye drops. So if you wear contacts, bring a case and solution. If you wear glasses, your lashes may touch the lens if they’re too long (which is what happenened when I got home). It was no bother though.
I lied on the table and Tammy got to work, she was very thorough and gentle. The music she had playing was very relaxing and I may have dozed off for a few minutes. It took about an hour and half to get an initial set and that’s because she does quality work. She was able to answer my questions and I was comfortable the whole time.
When she was done, I LOVED the results! If you’re in the Houston area and are looking for high quality, professional eyelash extensions, go to Tammy, you will be highly satisfied!
