I’m one loyal customer, but these ladies who work here make it so easy! We are now on a first name basis and know about each other’s families, this lace will always make you feel welcomed along with a well done, clean, and beautiful pedi mani or full set, I’ve had them all! Ask for Anna!

The establishment owner (Anna) was very rude. She didn’t acknowledge me when I walked in the shop to inquire the service I wanted. She rushed through the pedicure. The atmosphere was not relaxing at all. I wanted to also get my nails done but when the news came on discussing the Sandra Bland arrest and her death. She and another customer laughed at the incident. You don’t have to agree with the situation but it’s only human to be sensitive to the death of a young lady. THIS WAS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME IN THIS SHOP!!! We are all human people. #ALLLIVESMATTER

One of the better experiences I’ve had at a nail salon. My sister and I decided to get our nails done around 5pm on a Saturday, without an appointment. I called and they told us to come in.
Immediately, they took care of us. $ 20 for a basic pedi and $ 25 for a shellac mani. I needed to soak off my acrylic nails ($ 5), and the lady was extremely patient and gentle with me. We were offered a drink upon arrival, and all of the technicians truly paid attention to detail. They definitely took their time with us, even though there were people waiting. Truly happy with our experience here! Our mani/​pedis turned out great :)

What a pathetic place of business… save yourself time and frustration by choosing one of the other establishments nearby.
I came in seeking a basic manicure. Well everything was going well until the technician started to shape my nails. I had to correct her over and over again. She apologized and explained that she was new to the nail shop. So I kind of had empathy for her (maybe I was her first customer). Anyway we proceeded to the nail polishing part… this is where I nearly fainted. Every bottle of polish I chose was old and needed to have nail thinner added. The bottle was nearly empty for every polish color I chose. The lady started painting my nails and took the polish off about 4 times.
I got so frustrated that I left with no polish at all. The manager decided to take $ 2 off my nails. No I’m sorry or anything. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I chose 1 star because it’s the minimum allowed. There should be an option for a negative 1 000 000. This used to be a great nail salon however the new owner is RUDE. Not regular rude but beyond RUDE. I stopped by for a simple nail polish color change because it is really close to my home. NEVER AGAIN. She walked over to the technician and SNATCHED the brush out of her hand as she corrected the over polished areas. I couldn’t believe it. I could not pay and get the heck out of there fast enough. I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service ever. She’ll never get another coin from me.

Very satisfied for this place after the first time. The lady did on my nails was Wendy. She did a very good job on my full set almond nails and the design as well. One more thing that keep me back to this place is the free drinks. Even it’s just a bottle of water but it’s very nice cause they let’s you choose from tea, juice, water and red wine. How fancy lol. Definitely be back this adorable salon.

People seemed great, but I came in and was told a full set was $ 30. Wasn’t offered anything to drink, didn’t worry too much about it, just sat and let the technician to her thing. I told her to leave them a little long because I’m super picky about my nail shape, so I go home and file them myself. They decided to charge me $ 5 extra AFTER they kept them long (maybe advise your customers that you’re going to overcharge them BEFORE you continue services)
After 3 days, TWO NAILS FELL OFF. And now my nails are destroyed underneath. Garbage equipment, tools, and experience.

It was my second time there and I must say… I truly found a home for my mani and pedis… The first time I went, my regular nail polish lasted me 5 days! That’s pretty darn good since I use my hands alot! This time I did go for the shellac so lets see how long these will last! I felt relaxed when I left there. Everyone was so nice! The reason i gave 4 stars is because i hate the metal scrubber on my feet. Ouch! But i will opt out of it next time!

This was a great mani-​pedi! I called on Friday and booked three mani pedis for us on a Saturday morning, and they were able to get us right in at the time we wanted. We arrived and were able to all sit together, and we each were able to get our manis and pedis at the same time, with two techs working on us at the same time, which saved us a bunch of time.
I loved my pedi and my gel mani. The people who took care of me were polite and fast, and the work was great. My mani lasted almost three weeks, so I can’t complain about that. Props for playing HGTV, the perfect channel for a salon. The chairs were comfy and well-​maintained, and I loved the experience.
Minus a star for my sister, sitting next to me, who did not love her technician. She took a little bit longer picking her color, and in doing so, irritated her technician, who was then pretty rude to her, and actually caused her pain because she was a bit rough. There wasn’t anyone else in there for a long time, so it really shouldn’t have been that big of a deal (its not like it took her thirty minutes or something).
So, five stars for me, but not so much for sister, so I’m going to have to go with four. Patience is a virtue.

My tech did a great job so far. I will know in 2weeks. If it last 3weeks. She’s the Best… I like how she took her time.

I really couldn’t wait to get home to write this review, so I went Into the shop today 12/​17/​2014 to get a shallac refill, the tech suggested I get a full set being that it would only be a few dollars difference ok kool no prob lets do the full set. Throughout the entire process she constantly talked about how poorly my last tech did blah blah blah and how she would make my nails look so much better which id like to add never happened i preferred my old set a whole lot better… anyway to make a long story short i went in for a 12:30 appointment for full set it took 2 whole hrs to finish what I would consider a less than mediocre job to be charged a whopping 58 bucks at the end are you freaking kidding me 60 damn dollars for a mediocre azz full set in a mediocre azz nail salon I mean its not even a spa are you guys fucking serious def wont be back

After reading the good reviews, i decided to try out this nail salon and i was very happy. It’s a nice, warm welcoming place. I came in and got assisted right away, i felt like a princess when Kathy worked on my pedi and Anna (the owner) worked on mani. I showed her a pic of the design i like, i got exactly the same look even better, she made it look prettier by choosing a different shade. This is the first time i feel satisfied after spending on nails. Love looking my hands and feet. I will come back here again for my new years nails plus many more occasions.

Besides the fact that this nail salon is less than 5 mins from my home. They offer a complimentary glass of wine, water or soda to their guests. Their customer service is awesome, and all of the nail techs I’ve had there are efficient and give a great mani/​pedi.

I came here for a manicure with a friend a few weeks ago during my lunch break. First of all, it appears that making an appointment is a total waste of time. We had «appointments» at 11:30 and arrived a little ahead of time, but our services didn’t begin until right before noon! This was so annoying, as we were both there on our lunch breaks.
My manicure was pretty good — I really liked the color. The technician was friendly enough. Towards the end of my manicure, a lady walked in and asked how long of a wait for a mani. My technician told her 10 minutes, which was obviously not going to happen, as all of the technicians were in the middle of a mani or pedi! So, as a result, my technician rushed through the rest of my manicure to hurry and get to the walk-​in. I told her several times that I wanted an accent nail on each hand in a zebra pattern. She completely ignored me! I suppose because she realized that it would take even more time. So I ended up with a plain gold accent nail, which was really disappointing. I will most likely not be back due to this experience.

Maybe I came on a wrong day…
Pros: The only good thing I can say about this place is that the staff was friendly. I was greeted promptly at the door and offered a drink.
Cons: The lady that was doing my manicure was very rough. When cutting my cuticles she was tugging very hard and was not gentle at all. The French tip shellac I received was probably the worst I’ve ever had. The thickness of the tips are inconsistent and crooked. Today marks one week since I’ve had the mani and already the sides have bubbled and lifted and the tips are starting to chip. My cuticles are peeling on all fingers and they looked so jacked up. As for my pedicure, the nails were filed crooked (slanted and not straight). How do you fuck that up? The polish had bubbles in them and the owner had to come and reapply more polish to cover up the unevenness.
$ 60 for a French shellac mani/​reg pedi. I pay less at my regular places on Kirby. That’s what I get for trying new places.

Went here on 4÷5÷14, my first and last time there. The lady who I didn’t get her name, but she had her hair up in a bun and she was a little darker than the other asian ladies there.
Well we talked and I told her what I wanted and mentioned it was my first time. She started to work on me, and when she got the tool to clean the side of my nails… maaaaan, I don’t know wtf was wrong with her, or what was on her mind, but she fkn slid that thing so fast and hard to the point it made me yell out.
She apologized and I said out loud that yo, you are using that thing kinda rough on my toe. She apologized again and continued even though I was still hurting. Next thing you know, my toe starts to bleed. I told her to stop and showed her because she didn’t even notice!!! She then tried to say that there was something in my toe that caused it!!! Yea! Your fkn tool that you jammed into my fkn toe!!!
We went on a debate for a little bit because she kept saying there was something in my toe that caused it to bleed. Now, I ain’t never had anything wrong with my fkn toes in my life. I kept telling her loudly, enough to where her coworkers heard everything where they asked her what was going on. You fkn jammed the shit out of my fkn toe!!! She sprayed something on my toe to help clean the area, but it didn’t sting, so I don’t think it even got inside the wound to sterilize it.
She then apologized numerous times and even questioned me when I said that I am stopping this pedicure. I was like yea, my toe fkn hurts! You are not putting any other nail shit on my toe when obviously it has an open wound on the side now!
Normally I would have raised hell, but I just no and walked out. Later on I did call the shop back and I spoke to a lady named Anna who turned out to be the shop manager. I told her the incident and she asked if I could come back and I guess to point out the lady that worked on me. I told her I didn’t have the time because I really did have other errands to do. She apologized and said ok when I told her, yo, something happen to my toe, I am calling y’all about it. She seemed real nice and said that yes to call her if anything else happens.
So when I finally got home, I cleaned the area some more and put neosporin on it and put a band aid. It had stopped bleeding and I have asked my friends should I go see a Dr now, but since it stopped, we thought maybe it was something minor. The only thing we was worried about was if her tools were fkn cleamed or not. Well I had a lot of shit to do Saturday.
So Sunday, toe was still hurting and it looked swollen and felt hard. I left it alone. Monday night, I checked on my toe. I touched the side where she jammed that fkn tool in to see if it was ok. And yup… fkn puss started to come out. It was already too late in the night to do anything about it. So today, I am going to get a shot and most likely antibiotics for this shit.
I won’t ever go back to this place again. And the next time I go to any nail salon, I’m going to tell them to take it easy on my fkn feet. But I shouldn’t have to tell anyone that. It’s your job to handle people gently when using any type of tool!!! You should know this shit!
Y’all may have had a good experience but I didn’t. I do not know wth was wrong with that lady that day.
UPDATE:
Just spoke to Anna and she was really nice and apologetic about the situation. She told me to bring the bill and meet at the shop so she can look at my toe too. Unfortunately, I have to events to go to after work for today and tomorrow. She was fine with a picture. But I will still stop by on Thursday to speak with her. She said she will reimburse me for the trouble. Not a lot of Asian owned place I know would do anything like that. They would try to avoid or fight you over it. I will definitely change my star rating once I actually see this take place, but it does help that she said she would take care of this for me and that is very much appreciated.
I am sorry though that I won’t be coming to this place again due to the experience. But so far, for customer service… Anna is great at it. A business owner should want to help the customer in situations like this.
Another fkn UPDATE!!:
So now, Anna tells me she needs to see my toe first before I go to the dr. Sorry, I can’t leave work right now, and you are far. If you wanna meet me halfway, I will definitely show it to you. Her husband wants to actually see and be sure it is my toe. I’m not one to try and scam anybody, I’m very honest about my shit. So if you wanna meet me halfway, I have no problem doing that before I go to the dr. I have other events to be at after work so the only time I told her I can see her is Thursday and I“m not waiting that long to get a fkn tetanus shot or antibiotics!!! WTF??? Her attitude about things kinda changed when he husband stepped in. I understand that y’all wanna be sure, but I can tell you that it is my damn toe. And I was willing to meet any of them halfway.

Just found this lovely nail spa and I will be back regularly! The service is great, good prices, and the employees take care of you. You’ll feel very comfortable right when you walk in. I’ve never had to wait long for service and I always left happy!

This is the second time I come to this place because it’s close to my job. I came on pre-Valentine’s Day meaning it was extremely busy!!! Even though it was busy Anna made sure to take care of everyone and did a fabulous job with my nails! The color I chose was a tad lighter than I expected and she had the right amount of coats so I could be happy with the color. I would recommend this place and definitely coming back. Been looking for a place to get my nails did since my last disappointment and found this place on Unilocal.Once again, Unilocal came through for me! Got shellac manicure and regular pedi — love it, one week later and I don’t have one chipped nail. Since I live in the area now, this will definitely be my regular shop. Super duper excited. Btw, this is the first place that I loved since my move to Houston months ago! Finally… :)

Great place! Friendly, fun, and budget conscious. I asked for prices prior and was quoted exactly what I paid in the end. They did mess up on one design I asked for and they charged me for it but I didn’t ask them to remove it so my bad.
The best thing for me was that I was able to communicate with the ladies who worked there easily and I got exactly what I wanted except for that one lil funny thing
