Sharisma always does a fantastic job on my hair. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff. They do not have the cosmetic selection that Ulta has, but they make up for it in customer service and low prices on hair care products. This place is a hidden gem.

I cannot complain about Beauty Brands in general. Contrary to the reviews below, Beauty Brands is cheaper than Ulta product wise. Beauty Brands is best for people interested in hair care products instead of make-​up. I take advantage of their liter sale every time they have one… but since I have moved onto Pureology products (which are FANTASTIC but pricey) I can’t take advantage of the liter sale.
Beauty Brands offers monthly, if not weekly $ 3.50 off coupons for any $ 10+ purchase. Sometimes I get 20% off coupons in the mail which are fabulous and if you spend money there on a regular basis or make any big purchase you can get a 10% off coupon for your next visit and this coupon does not expire.
The turn-​over rate must be pretty high at this location… I have experienced wonderful customer service here in the past but I was a little disappointed this morning. I’m beginning to think that good customer service is dead these days.

I wanted to give an update on my blue highlights. I washed my hair ONE TIME and some of the blue is now GREEN and others are almost completely faded! They obviously used very cheap dye. I will NEVER go again. They over charged and made me waste $ 112.

Going from box black to ombré blonde has been a process but Whitney did an amazing job. She listens to you the client wants and then makes suggestions. Love this place. Found my forever stylist finally!

Love going to Johnny! He’s knowledgeable and professional… would have given five stars but can’t because of something he has no control over. There is a female stylist there that continually cackles and has the most fake laugh that it grates on the nerves! She’s loud and disruptive to the point that I may have to give up going there. Seriously, this woman ruins the entire experience which should be a relaxing and fun «pamper day» for me and others. GET ON THE JOB MANAGEMENT! I know for a fact that I am not the only customer considering change because of this hyena!

Similar to Ulta but limited choices on their cosmetics. They have a hair salon and alot of hair products. Friendly staff. was greeted at door and also asked several times if I needed assistance. They have a good sale on large bottles of shampoo and conditioners.

I went inside what i thought would be a nice beauty store like Ulta with high hopes. I didn’t really know what to expect or about anything they carried. They have a lot of hair products from any brand you can name and a few makeup brands such as Tarte, Stila, Anastasia, and a few others. The selection was nice, no complaints. What was horrid was the customer service. I felt like i was getting flat out ignored. They were three other women shopping and the male employee helped them but completely ignored me. I was standing right next to one! I walked around the store a little more and still ignored! A female employee just overlooked me! It’s not that i needed help but I at least wanted to be acknowledged. When i actually had a question about their salon, it was tough to even get the attention of anyone. They just hanged out and talked to one another, still ignoring me. Until finally i got someone. She was helpful but really awkward too like she half-​knew what she was talking about.
Just from this experience, I’m probably never going back to this Beauty Brands location ever again, it’s really rude being straight up ignored.

I stopped in today after having a terrible experience at Sally last week. I needed hair tools and products and really didn’t know much about them. The sweetest girl named Katie helped me out. She was so patient and nice, helped me find great deals, was very informative about their store and salon/​spa. I’m going to go back to this place, and hopefully Katie, any time I need beauty products.

Horrid! I’ve been coming here on and off for a quick trim that’s close to home. I hadn’t been back for awhile since the last 2 stylists were blah… I just wanted a quick ½ inch trim and a blowout.
My stylist — Sheri lacked communication. She said she would only cut a ½ inch but ended up cutting 1 ½ inches (even though she said she had to even out the front). Uhh… before you cut or when you know you’re going to cut more than ½ an inch, you should TELL ME. the front is longer than the back on purpose!!! Secondly, she faced me towards the window instead of the mirror so I couldn’t see her styling my hair. Annoying. I can’t stand when a hairdresser seats you the opposite direction of the mirror. As if they are hiding something.
Isn’t there is a difference between a blowout and a flat iron. Blowouts consists of using a blow dryer to straighten your hair yet have some body. Sheri instead hardly blowdried my hair and mainly used a flat iron, leaving my hair stick straight, flat and lifeless. She used the flat iron from root to ends and pulling so hard I had to tell her to stop at times. When you flat iron your hair from root to ends it makes a funny looking bend — not stylish at all, very amateur. On top of that I kept telling her I DID NOT want the old Jennifer Anniston style. guess what, that’s how she styled my hair.
Pass up Beauty Brands, even if you just want a simple cut. This place does not keep up with the trends and their customer communication stinks. I am surprised this place is still open.

I have been coming here for about 4 years. I am on my 3^rd stylist and hope she doesn’t go anywhere as she is absolutely wonderful. I do admit I have had a couple bad experiences however the greatness outweighs them. Giving them another chance was the best decision ever. Not only does my stylist Lauren ROCK, Beauty Brands have outstanding sales. Stock up at the annual hairspray and liter sales and you won’t be complaining about overpriced products because their normal prices are equivalent to anywhere else for high quality styling products.

Absolutely horrible. Even when I politely mentioned that I was going to go on Unilocal and leave a bad review, no response. The receptionist slash asst. manager was so brain dead, I wonder how she managed to apply quite as much make-​up as she did this morning. Cattiness aside, I made a waxing appointment and was told to be in by 10. Arrived at 5 of and heard the aesthetician was busy with a massage client and would be done momentarily. Fine. Walked around the ENTIRE store for awhile, checking everything and looked at the clock. 10.15. I asked if it would be much longer and she looked up from her gossip coze with 3 rather large skanky girls, all of whom supposedly were working there, and said, she would be done shortly. 10 minutes later, I mentioned that she really should have let me know it would be this long a wait since I had to be somewhere at 11. Immediately defensive, a diatribe began about she could not possibly have know since the schedule had appeared open and she was not allowed to bother her when with a client. I politely told her that while I realized there was little to be done at that moment, she should let management and the aesthetician know that this was not a good way to conduct business and I had to leave… and would obviously not be back. Oddly enough, there were no customers in the store the entire time I was there besides myself and a couple only in the salon.
I drove straight to Ulta and had a very good experience. Moving over there now to give them the 4 stars they deserve!
By the way, the products were very overpriced and I hazard a guess that no one there actually knows the difference between OPI & Redken. Go anywhere else, would be my humble suggestion.

I just got my haircut here, and I’m a fan. Knowledgeable and helpful stylists are great if you want to try a new look or don’t know what you want. It’s about $ 40 a haircut, but you get what you pay for.
