I brought my car here last year because my flasher box went out. They fixed the problem for a reasonable cost, but told me I needed to come back ASAP because my power steering fluid and brake fluid systems needed to be cleaned and flushed. They told me if I didn’t, my hoses could bust and I would have MAJOR damage to my vehicle. So I came back, coughed up the money, and paid $ 188 to have these 2 things done. ONE month later, I had my car in the shop at another mechanic and I asked them to check the brake fluid. STILL DIRTY! They showed me and when I saw with my own two eyes that Auto World scammed me out of $ 188 dollars, I was pissed! I sold the car shortly after because it would not run anymore, but had it still been driving condition, I would have taken it back and raised hell! So lame! So if you do decide to get repairs done, and you talk to a guy named Roy, he will lie to your face.

A bunch of crooks! They tried to tell me I needed both break pads replaced for 500 DOLLARS! Then i proceeded to go to another shop that said I only needed the front and charged me 125 to do it with a free inspection and the works. These guys are just out to take advantage of you! Always double check other options first with car scum like these.

Came in to get a tune up, oil change and a few other check ups on my Mercedes and its the best price Ive gotten in town! Great reasonably priced service, friendly staff and accessible location. Will be coming here on the regular. Definitely recommend them :)

I’ve been taking my family’s vehicles to Auto World West Loop for almost seven years now. They are friendly, reliable, quick and fair. They offer great discounts, and their interesting newsletter always has a handy coupon. I highly recommend them.

This used to be my go to place, but now that I have a full warranty on a different car I no longer need to stop by.
Auto world is honest and reasonably priced. I would even say low priced. I’ve gotten some fixes here for cheaper than I had expected! If you’re by the galleria, this should be your one stop shop.

The only reason I am giving them 1 star is that owner of the shop was «helpful» during one of the many repairs. I bought a used vehicle from them with what I thought was a great list of items fixed before I purchased the car. BOY WAS I WRONG! I would never trust their work or any affiliate as they recommended a shop to repair one of the many problems and am now faced with the same repair bill less than a year later. I have now put the equivalent of the sales price + $ 1K into it in under 24 months.
Most disgusting part is that the repairs claimed in the sales advertisement were untrue and could have cost myself and family members their lives.

Just stopped by today since I was on the feeder and remembered I was having windshield sprayer issues. I just asked if they had an easy way I could unclog the holes, instead of telling me how to do it, Chris took my keys and took care of the problem in less than 10 minutes. This is the kind of service you get when you have a relationship built with a great service team!

It’s a pleasure to give Auto World a five star review. LIke most of us I’ve had bad experiences with ripoff mechanics over the years but I have nothing but great things to say about Bobby and the crew at Auto World. Consequently I’ve been a customer of theirs for a ridiculously long time. They’re unfailingly helpful and friendly, and beyond reproach in the areas of honesty and integrity. The best I’ve found.
