For over 40 years, Antonio’s Flying Pizza and Italian restaurant has been all about family. Opened in 1971 by our father, Antonio Rosa, it is still family owned and operated, and our father can still be seen greeting guests in the dining room. From fresh clams and calamari to hand tossed pizzas, our menu remains largely unchanged from the early days. Our customers like it that way, and we don’t blame them.
By focusing on the freshest ingredients and sticking to our father’s original recipes we hope to continue the tradition of exceptional, classic, heart-warming dishes that Houston has come to expect from us. We treat our customers like guests in our home, and if we haven’t had the pleasure of your company, we hope you’ll join us very soon.

History
Established in 1971.
Antonio Rosa, born in a rustic village in Pozzallo Sicily, was passionate about sharing his life’s experience and love for food. Like many immigrants of his generation, Antonio wanted a better life for his family. That aspiration brought him to Brooklyn NY, where he opened his first restaurant PISA in 1959.
In 1971, Antonio and his wife Rosalba moved to Houston, Texas and opened Antonio’s Flying Pizza and Italian Restaurant. Over four decades later, Antonio’s is a landmark, serving local Houstonians and visitors from all around the world. Through dedication and hard work the Rosa family has made Antonio’s what it is today. With the help of their loyal customers, they are able to carry on the tradition in providing quality and consistency in their food for many years to come.
