Alpha Dog Custom Cycles is a full service independent cycle shop. We offer a full range of customizing services. Alpha Dog Customs does not just bolt chrome and billet from a catalog onto your bike. We offer custom metal and ABS fabrication, custom seats, bags, and upholstery, powdercoating, ABS repairs, and custom paint.

We service and customize all types of motorcycles and especially love vintage bikes: Japanese, Harley, and European brands.

History

Established in 2008.

Alpha Dog started out as a hobby. I built my first shop location to have a place to work on my own motorcycle. It wasn’t long before I found my little 800 sq ft shop crowded with other people’s motorcycles. Just my tools and equipment alone was more than the first shop could comfortably contain. My current shop is about 2,500 sq ft, with dedicated shop space for metalworking, painting & powdercoating, general repairs and bike assembly, and a quick-​service area where we do things like oil and tire changes while you wait.

Not many bike shops will work on the vintage Japanese bikes, so quite a bit of our work is repair, customization, and restoration of these old bikes. We also love Harleys, and work on all vintages. British and European bikes frequently have work done in our shop, too.

Business Owner

After being a computer consultant for 20 years, I decided that it was time for a change back to my earliest passion: Motorcycles.

I built my first shop in a turn of the century industrial building in an 800 sq ft space. I am now in my third shop.

Once again, my life is dedicated to motorcycles, and I especially enjoy working on vintage bikes.
