Can’t beat this price! I got a BLT but with sprouts instead of lettuce. The sandwich was pretty good. Boyfriend got Roast beef sandwich which he enjoyed. One star off because they were out of sourdough bread and my boyfriend’s potato salad was a little dry.

Great options! Great prices! Hot food, meals, cold food, sushi and great sandwiches. It’s also attached to a small grocery store — The Food Pantry — so it’s very convenient to add on fruit or other items you may need.

If you’re looking for a really good sandwich at a really good price, check out the Waterfront Deli at the Food Pantry market. They have a sandwich called the Big Apple Reuben that I love. I haven’t been to New York, so I have no basis for this judgement beyond trust in my taste buds. It’s a simple sandwich, corned beef with cheese and sauerkraut on rye, then hot pressed. It’s served with a pickle and a small cup of salad. It takes a few minutes to assemble and heat, so order up and go for a stroll through the market. I find that the magazine rack helps time fly. I forget the exact price, but it’s around five bucks. I just went to Jack-in-the-Crack the other day, and spent over six bucks on a Sourdough Jack combo. Does anyone remember when fast food was cheap? Since we’re on fast food, does anyone else seem to think that McD’s Filet-o-Fish sandwiches have fluctuated in size from time to time, maybe puffing up when new fishwiches appear as competition? I’ve always wanted to keep record somehow, but that would be weird. Seriously. :)
