UYE: Brunch Boozers 12 @ Royal Garden Chinese Restaurant

Dozens of empty booze bottes and cool peeps = fun times.
It was pretty unbelievable that we were Estabans first mainlanders at a Brunch Boozers. It made it even more special that it was Brunch Boozers 12, the 1 year anniversary of this UYE.
The dim sum was good, the place was nice, the service decent and easy parking. But it was really about boozin it up with the local Hawaiians. Everyone one was über cool and made you feel that this was your home. Hanging with our new Unilocaler friends is definately one of the highlites of this vacation.
This crew is no joke when it comes to booze at brunch, so be prepared to fix your Saturday nights hangover with a hard buzz on Sun. The good thing is that yur drinking early enough to recover for the daily grind on Mon morning! If youre a mainlander, make sure you make one of these UYEs to get some tru Hawaiian flava!

Dim Sum Fun! One Year Anniversary

Have you ever been to a «Brunch Boozers»? If you would have asked me this question yesterday I would have told you no. I had never been to any of the UYE events. Let me tell you, the Brunch Boozers know how to party!
I wasn’t the only new one to the UYE Boozer group. There were a few other first timers, and a fellow Unilocal couple from San Fran.
Everyone that is a regular with the Boozers was sooo nice. They are very welcoming and you immediately feel as a part of the group.
I was absolutely not prepared when I showed up with my bottle of Champagne to the Royal Garden restaurant at the Ala Moana Hotel. These peeps party like rock stars. I saw a cooler, several grocery bags, and when they started making drinks at the tables I knew I was at the right place! There were screwdrivers, mimosas, beer, bloody maries, and random mixes of alcohol and chasers!
The Brunch Boozers were celebrating its first birthday today and Esteban picked a great place! The Dim Sum was great and I got to try so many new foods!
