Specialties
Our menu consists of japanese, local, and Okinawan cuisine. Our specialty is the Okinawan cuisine. These dishes have a homey warmth to them and very often bring back fond childhood memories for our customers. These dishes are also healthy and consists of lots of vegetables. Although all our dishes are delicious the most popular is the eggplant with shoyu pork.
History
Established in 2002.
I was born in Okinawa and later moved to honolulu with my family. I always loved Okinawan cuisine and culture. In 2002 I started Utage Restaurant & Lounge so I could share my love for Okinawan cuisine with everyone. I decided that if my food and service is good people will talk about it and come back. Utage Restaurant & Lounge has been in business for almost 12 years. My customers are my family and I’m filled with deep appreciation to be able to serve them all these years and for many more years to come!
