At UH Manoa there are a lot of free things to see and do for non-​students: I attended 3 free presentations about living a sustainable life, about Mecca, and about Hawaiian culture. The group called Lovers of South Asian Culture provided a lot of free Indian delicious food at the start of their Bollywood movie night. The movie was so touching I cried 4 times! I am really excited to attend the 4÷14÷15 Bollywood dance night in which we will get again free and delicious Indian food and learn to dance Indian style!
At UH Manoa there is beautiful koi pond and Japanese garden you can walk in.
On International Night the UH Manoa college students had booths with snacks, clothing, quizzes, and artifacts from their respective countries. Vietnamese students gave away free postcards containing colorful photos of gorgeous Vietnamese females. Students from Iran performed energetic dances. A young man did a card trick with facts about his country. The group from India got the audience to get off their seats and learned how to dance Indian style –you should have seen the excitement, laughter, joy, and participation in the room! We didn’t want the night to end!
Uh Manoa has Bale restaurant where you can buy a delicious Vietnamese «Banh mi» sandwhich for only $ 5! For a few more dollars, you can buy the Vietnamese soup called «phở» which is «ngon” – meaning delicious!

Love the breakfast options here. They have omelettes and various ala carte breakfast items. If breakfast isn’t your thing, sushi and Japanese food is also available from early morning. The lunch is also pretty good too!

The food here is awesome and beer is even sold here there are numerous food options to choose from and caters to many different ethnic backgrounds.

Beautiful redone and well groomed. The campus center opens students up to the heart of UHM. You are able to g get a cup of coffee sip while you sit and chat by the brand new gym and mural of the old Hawaiian taro farms. There is a jamba and subway for cheap, somewhat healthy eats. The cafeteria isn’t too bad, but I don’t recommend eating there. I got sick after my first try. It’s a very relaxing atmosphere and you can get your id validated here.

The campus center offers a whole range of services for students. Most times I come for lunch at one of the food places or coffee at Starbucks. During lunch hours is the most crowded, so finding a seat to sit at can be difficult. It is semi outdoors but covered area.
Other services offered are the ticket center, computer lab, career center, and the book store.
They are still expanding the campus center (over 1 ½ behind I believe). When finished it is suppose to have an athletic area with a gym. And offer more food places.
Hopefully they finish soon and I can re-​review the campus center adding in the new facilities.

I shall be graduating from UHM in only a few short days and my most memorable times have been spent at this exact spot. Campus Center is a great meeting hub for almost everybody. With the plethora of food options (Jamba, Starbucks, Subway, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and the CC Cafeteria) there’s always something to accomodate different tastes. My friends and I would always meet up for lunch, coffee, or just to hang out, watch tv, and people watch on the comfy couches.
Have lots of homework to finish? CC is the perfect place to get it all done. During my breaks in between classes I would plug myself in and study. Upstairs theres a computer lab fully equipped with apple computers and printers. On the college budget? Bring your own paper and email your documents to
and the staff will be more than happy to oblige. Rob is awesome and is always super helpful.
I love it when they have events! If you like free stuff as much as I do then you should definitely try checking them out. Around Valentines Day they have the Condom Fair. Yup! That’s right FREE CONDOMS. During finals week they have an amazing event called the Cram Jam. This is when all of us procrastinators make the pilgrimage to CC in search of libations (free coffee, endless snacks, and energy drinks) to keep us up and energized for the various all nighters we will be pulling. I can’t tell you how many times this event has helped me pass a major final, finish excruciatingly long reports, and perfect my end of the year projects. Take full advantage of this!
The fact that CC is always nice and clean, creates a great atmosphere for everybody. You can even get all of your grocery shopping done on Tuesdays and Fridays at the farmers market (My favorite one on the island! The men of the farmers market are always so nice and might even give you free bananas or a coconut if your a regular like myself) from 8am-​2pm.
Now I hate to be a debbie downer but there are a few things that really do bother me about campus center. First off, when the hell is all the construction going to be done? I have been at UH for 4 years and there has been construction going on throughout my whole college experience! I understand that something spectacular is going to be built but seriously? CC is supposed to be a place to hang out, study, etc. That’s kind of hard to do when all you hear is that construction racket. Lastly, when there are big events like the Cram Jam they require you to show your validated ID in exchange for a wristband that allows you to enjoy all the free amenities. Thank you now there won’t be as many creepers, but it really bugs when we voyage to the library then get rejected for not having our student IDs on us. To the security workers that don’t seem to understand: please have a meeting before these events to sort out information and be in the know of what is going on. We students are sleep deprived, running on practically only caffeine, and stressing on finals that dictate our futures. I personally don’t mean to get so annoyed, but c’mon help a sista out!
Other than this CC is awesome. Thank you for all the great memories :]

Food is served half hour before the movie starts, get here early to get a comfy seat.
25 cent items: ¼ subway sandwich (turkey, ham, veggie) served with mayo and mustard already on the sandwiches, sodas & bottled water, subway cookies, popcorn, and cotton candy.
We got here an hour early, not knowing the time they open the line for food. Movie was at 6:30, food line started at 6:00 pm. First you tell the cashier your order, they take the money and give you tickets, and you just put the tickets in the basket for the items you want. Pretty simple.
Seating: There were about 100 or so chairs, about half of those were regular folding chairs and the other half were ones with padding and arm rests. I would highly recommend getting there early enough for armrests.
These movie events are open to the public and I believe they put them on every Friday or every other Friday. It is a complete mix of people, from elderly to students to some parents with children. I would highly recommend that if you do bring children please look up the movie first. They showed «this is 40» and it was not suitable for young children as breasts were shown a couple times, plenty of profanity and a mild sex scene with clothes covering all.
I enjoyed only paying $ 2 for pretty much the entire event. My friend and I split the parking ($ 6) but didn’t realize there was free parking on the other side — a parking lot on university I believe.
My friends and I will definitly be back.

No real comment about this place. Come through here every once in a while. A good place to hang out with friends with free wi-​fi if you’re a UH student. Also got a few good places to eat in it.

The area is open, inviting, and well-​maintained. Even with the current construction of the new Campus Center, this area remains widely accessible to the public. I certainly enjoy the water bottle refill station and the computer lab on the next level.

Lots of good memories here at UH while I was an undergrad. The UHM Campus Center is pretty much the core and heart of UH for students as far as student life and activities goes. The Center has many facilities which include all of the food places (Subway, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Jamba Juice, the dining place, etc.), Campus Center Ballroom for many student activities related events, student government office, meetings and events office, student life and development office, student ID and ticket place, all of the 3^rd floor rooms which are great for meetings and doing conferences and such, the copy center, the bookstore, the farmers market, and more. You can get a lot of business done over here. During the day, there are many vendors at the 2^nd floor strip selling knick knack kind of stuff. Sometimes they have clubs trying to promote their organization and other fairs. Nowadays, they have huge construction projects going on in the area which is an extreme burden to everyone; students, guests, faculty, staff, alike. However, I feel it is still an effective place for everyone to chill and hangout despite the renovation project even though it is taking forever and a day. Even though I am not a currently a student, I go here and visit often visiting friends, doing business, practicing with my crew, and attending college events. Sometimes you can see many school groups coming down here for field trips. A lot of friends and guests also take advantage of the food area especially.

I love this campus! The Campus is set in beautiful Manoa. It even has a BAR! I doubt there is a more beautiful setting to work or go to school in the US. Everything is easy to get to, but parking is expensive and ticketers are out everywhere.
The new construction is a bother but I am sure it will be well worth it, but in 2 years?! The bookstore’s extra items are now limited due to construction and you need to go through the center of Campus Center to get there. Campus Center is still bustling, but it is stifling hot due to lack of ventilation.
From Subway, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Ba-​Le, Jamba Juice and the regular cafeteria food, this place beats any college food court I have ever been too! Way better than Paradise Palms!
Great safe campus and an ideal University for anyone considering going away for college!

In this center for relaxation from your everyday studies, you find many different venues as well as seats to sit down and relax for a bit before your next class.
Some people do not know this, but there are three floors to this building. The bottom floor houses two ATMs outside and two eateries inside. When you go into the double doors behind the ATMs, you find a place to make copies on your left, a game room on the right (I’ve never been inside yet), and straight ahead you’ll find a Pizza Hut and a Taco Bell with places you can eat at. You can also bring in food from outside and sit in here to eat. They have free water for those of us (like me) who don’t have extra money to spend on drinks every day.
The second floor has the main cafeteria with an array of food from Japanese to local. There are also classrooms here which I found out earlier this month. As you walk towards the big TV on this floor you find a Jamba Juice and the ever pleasant Corner Market Café. At this café you can get your caffeine fix for your morning. You can pick your «poison»: tea, coffee, or a soda; and there are also sandwiches, andagi, along with many other baked goods. To the direct right of the big TV, there is a Subway. You can grab your lunch, drink, etc and park your keister in front of the big TV and watch (and eat) before heading to class.
On the third floor to this building, there are classrooms and a place to stretch your legs and take a nap if you need it. Also in the napping section of this floor is a computer lab. There are also tables outside where you can hang out with friends using the many electrical outlets outside for your computers like I see a lot of kids doing nowadays.
Although the places to eat here are average in taste, it is right around the price range for people on a budget like me. Also good for people who need their morning caffeine fix, a quick bite, or just want to relax. I give this place five stars in spite of it’s current condition. Right now, there is construction going on which blocked off one entry/​exit, but campus center still goes off without a hitch. I’m just happy this is a place where I can relax before going off to work, off to school, or where I can park my big butt down to have some lunch. Take care everyone, and happy Unilocaling!!!

I went to UH for 5.5 years. I am a HUGE Subway fan! But this one I hate the most. Only the main owner guy is competent. The rest of the workers are rude, pushy, unfriendly, and uneducated. There have been so many times that I’ve left frustrated. But, I kept going back because it’s freaking Subway and it’s delicious — plus there aren’t a ton of cheap alternatives in Campus Center.
As for the rest of Campus Center, it’s pretty sweet. And the university is constantly working to improve it. Kudos, UH.

The food is okay I guess, when that is around. There is a lot of variety to choose from. The biggest problem with the cafeteria is the fact that there is usually only 2 lines and you can end up waiting in the check out line for at least 4 or 5 minutes. The people aren’t so nice, but I guess customer service is not their main priority.

I came to check out the campus during my recent trip to Oahu since I will be applying for a graduate program there soon. While there, we decided to get some snacks since their cafeteria was so pretty and contained foods that I’ve never seen at a campus cafeteria. Everything tasted pretty much as good as it looked… so I guess the pictures will speak for themselves.

I’ve been going to the University of Hawaii at Manoa since I’ve been a freshman in college. I used to have to take the extremely early express bus coming from Kailua and had a few hours to spare before my first class.
Inside Campus Center there is a big screen tv that shows the morning broadcast in the early mornings, a Subway, «Starbucks,» and Jamba Juice as well as a fairly large (but expensive) cafeteria. The cafeteria serves breakfast (huge portions, however, for the money that you spend) and has a wide variety of food for sale during lunchtime hours. The food is always good. There is also the university bookstore on the lower floor that has two entrances (ground floor and from the second floor down a flight of stairs). Also on the 2^nd floor is a small office that handles bus passes, student validation, and other things like that. The 3^rd floor has a few classrooms, a Campus Center Ballroom that is usually used for blood drives and other events, and a computer lab. The computer lab also has a small lounge area that has a few futon chairs that you can lay down on and are pretty comfy. Indeed, this is where I took many a nap my freshman and sophomore years. It’s a lot quieter during the mornings, but doesn’t get uncomfortably loud as the day goes on.
Tip: Don’t forget to set an alarm if you’re taking a nap between classes! I’ve slept through a few important ones that have made me learn my lesson!
