Very disappointed in the whole clinic for the price that they charge, and there is no way to accurately monitor your t levels by drawing blood every 6 months .My biggest problem is the the commercials make u feel like the actual Dr is treating you but he is only using his signature, my prescription is never on time and when my contact suggest that I have it delivered even worse I am 2 weeks without, they want your $$$ but don’t want 2 help you poor business. I wouldn’t recommend never,
Do your own research you can get better product at a fraction of the cost and still get blood work done whenever u want and have your pcp review,

The whole experience seemed very sales driven and I don’t feel like I got anything near what I should have for my $ 208 consultation fee.
I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment as instructed and after filling out 4 forms of personal info and an overview of my situation I waited for about 30 – 40 minutes before someone came in to take my blood pressure and deliver my forms to the doctor.
The doctor came in about 10 – 15 minutes later and after looking briefly at my form and asking me a couple of questions, suggested testosterone therapy. He said another consultant would come in to discuss treatment options and pricing.
So the blood test to determine my testosterone levels would only be taken if I agreed to one of the three treatment options the consultant presented which ranged from $ 1,400 for a 6 month plan to almost $ 3,000 for an 18 month plan. They were going to administer a first dosage right then and there before taking my blood and checking my levels.
Ultimately what it amounted to was $ 200 for an hour and a half of filling out forms and a sales pitch. I’m sure lots of men benefit from the testosterone treatments from UMC but this experience for me, who was already nervous about the visit, was too pushy and sales driven.
There were also questions about side effects that the consultant couldn’t answer which added to my reluctance in proceeding.
I feel that the money I paid should have at least covered a blood test to see where my levels were and I could make an educated decision rather than one based solely on a questionnaire and a pricing guide.

I was made to wait an hour in a room while I heard the doctor laughing and joking with a patient in an adjoining room. When the doctor finally came to see me he barely listened to me and kept glancing at his wristwatch which made me think he thought he was not concerned with my case, questions and concerns at all. The doctor was not sympathetic at all about my situation and finally walked out of the room while saying that one of his assistants would help me. I’m sure that the doctor hadn’t read my chart at all before walking in to see me. I am very, very disappointed in this unprofessional conduct.

I can’t say enough good things about the clinic. All my questions were answered, I saw the Dr. on my appointment time, not an hour later like most Dr. s, my medication is perfect for me and has been a life changer but most of all it was very private. I visis every time I’m on island for a check up and t omake any adjustments to my meds that are needed.
