Oshiro M James, DMD

I have known Dr Oshiro and his wife/​Office manager for over 15 years. They have a small family run office that allows for very personalized care. Dr Oshiro has a very conservative approach to dental care, which works well at preserving my natural teeth. This works well, as my son and I are cavity prone. He is always very upfront with all the management options and the cost and benefits of each. I never feel that he is trying to «up sell» me into something I don’t need or is not in my best interest. He worked well with my six and seven year old kids. He is very patient and enjoys teaching proper brushing techniques and tooth care to the kids. His office is conveniently located near Ala Moana shopping center. His schedule is very flexible and is always able to schedule an appointment when I can make it. I think it would be difficult to find a dentist like Dr Oshiro, especially in these days where other dentist are businessmen before doctors.
