I was referred to this auto shop by my brother.
Triple 5 has been in business for over 15 years.
Located on N. School St.
A few FYI’s :
This auto repair shop gets very BUSY @ all times of the day.
Tom is the owner, he may seem unfriendly, (my impression during 1^st visit)
but he is just super busy everyday, he really is friendly.
There will be a long wait when you drop off your car for any services.
The parking lot is a mad house!
They do service mostly taxi cabs & limos & they also service everyone else.
They are super busy every day! (did I mention this?)
Tom has many workers, that will get the job done fast!
Other than that, Service here is excellent.
The prices are affordable, you get charge for parts & labor.
They do except credit cards.
I’ve been here for starter, for my 2 automobile, water pump, & oil change.
Yes, as mentioned, expect a long wait!
They get the job done & I put my trust in Triple 5 for my automobile needs.
Last tips– just avoid the bathrooms, use it elsewhere, or use the bathroom before you arrive.
& go have lunch, snack, walk around the neighborhood, then come back– hopefully your car well be done.
I hope I don’t have any more car problems. (knocks on wood)

They’re always busy fixing taxi cabs & limos but they took my car in anyways & two days later they called me up @9:30pm 2 let me know my car was all finished… hard working fast service & affordability is why I’ve come to this establishment-​good job Tom!

Since this shop is within walking distance, I decided to try my luck there. First came onto the location and saw a young kid about ready to do some work on a car being put on a lift. Then (I assume) an older gentleman who is the manager of the shop asked me if I needed any help. I explained that I needed some strut mounts removed from my car as I was willing to take the struts to them myself. He asked me what kind of car (irrelevant in this situation as I’m not bringing the whole car to them). Was suggested to rent out some coil spring compressors (really, like I never thought of that before), and just walked away.
Impression I got after explaining what make of car I have, seems they only were interested in doing higher end model cars, not doing small jobs (they weren’t even busy!), and only care about making the most money. Don’t even bother. If I could give them a negative rating, I would after seeing their lack of willingness to help.

The first time I came here, I had to get my driver’s side inner door handle fixed. It came out to be $ 100 but the only complaint was that it took a very long time and I was told that it would be done in only an hour but it took much longer. Unfortunately, there’s nothing to do in that neighborhood except visit bakeries and bake in the sun.
The second time I went, I had to get my battery replaced and it didn’t take very long. My complaint was that I really wanted the battery connectors to get replaced (it looked really worn out) but they chose not to because they said it wasn’t the main cause for the car not starting. I just wish that they would have taken more due care because deteriorating connectors will eventually keep the car from starting and connectors are dirt cheap (less than $ 5).
I do believe that the owner here is honest and that his workers are hard workers. Though I wasn’t completely satisfied, I’ll try them again because I feel that a lot of repair shops are dishonest and that really gets to me.
It’s easy to miss this place so drive slow when you get to the area. There is one road that goes in and out so it is a pain.

My car battery suddenly died yesterday while I was at the airport! After calling my dad and jump starting the car, he told me to drive and meet him here at Triple Five Auto Repair. The staff here is super accommodating and it took less than 20 minutes to get my battery changed! Contrary to the other commenter, you don’t need to speak Vietnamese to get good service here.

My family has been coming here for years to get our car fixed. Depending how busy they are, they’ll get you’re car in and out of there real fast depending on what you are trying to do of course. And the rates here are pretty affordable. It’s a little out of our way, so if my families coming here all the time, they must be doing a good job.

If u speak vietnamese, u ll get good n honest service here… If u don’t, then good luck!
Once I brought my car here to get an oil change, when it was done I was told the price was $ 35. Then I asked the tech to help me refill some water into my windshield wiper water container… He did it but the price became $ 40. :-/​so he charged me $ 5.00 for him to put a gallon of water into my vehicle… *_*

My father mostly comes here for his repairs and stuff. Since he comes here I also come here sometimes. They are known for repairing the taxi cab cars and vans but they are obviously open to the public. They may take a while to do the repair but they get the job done fast. The prices are reasonable and very decent. You will get the fastest safety check over here ever. I was very pleased with the service and efficiency. They are pretty organized in handling each vehicle in a timely manner. They are conveniently located on N. School St. heading town bound slight right after passing Kam Shopping Center and the gas stations. They are literally right next to Kamehameha Bakery. They are open from early morning to the wee hours in the night. They mechanics are legit. They never stop working and very hard workers, talented as well.
