always great service here. although with the long wait (over an hour) I was really satisfied with how my nails turned out. $ 12.99 for manicure and $ 25.99 for gel set so $ 38 total.

Christina is the best & runs a great place! I have gone to other places that look similar or comparable & they don’t come close to measuring up re quality & cleanliness! They no longer do acrylics/​tips or fills so that is why i have gone to other places lately. However christina does do gel & gelish manis etc — all the new fads.

I’m doing this review on Traci. I got a haircut from her yesterday and I’m very surprised that she got my request almost down to the tee. I just needed a haircut really quick before hitting the club and I showed her a picture of my haircut and told her that I wanted the comb over line. She even did my faux hawk in the back too. Not exactly the haircut that I usually get but I could rock my line up for the next two weeks even for an interview. Reason being, she cleans up your hair really nicely. Everything was even and I’m usually a stickler when it comes to even one hair being longer especially on the sides when they need to blend in the fade. Traci even uses a new blade when doing the side burns and the combover line. The box was evenly made and over all my cut was clean.
For my haircut it was $ 21. This was the reason why my review wasn’t a complete 5 stars. I have a friend that works at a different shop who has a flat rate for haircuts and he washes and gels if you want. Just remember to ask for Traci because she really does take care. I heard she worked at a different shop and she really took care of all of her clients since they were in middle school and now working men. I give her 5 stars because she’s really good and I don’t trust more than 4 people with my hair. I’m definitely coming back with a bigger tip for her especially when I need a really quick cut within a day’s notice. I’m going to add that she’s really nice and also she’s pretty too. I have been going to Christina for years now. She is great at all services. Haircuts and color, pedicure and manicure, eyebrows, she can do it all! Christine and Kevin are a husband and wife team and they really go out of their way to service customers. Small and friendly staff, and although they speak in their native tongue, they have a good time together! It’s a very relaxed atmosphere for kids and adults.
I recommend you set up an appointment first to ensure the wait won’t be that long. Christina listens to what you want and gives suggestions too. I only see her because she knows exactly what I want.
Weekends are busy, so I try to schedule my appointment at the end of the workday around 430, they close at 7pm.
For the price, it’s worth checking out. I do basic, cut and color, pedicure, nothing fancy so if you are looking for a modern cut and styles, I can’t really comment on that. I’m pretty simple, low key and always happy when I get a deal!

I will never go back again!!! As soon as I walked in, I asked the lady how long is the wait? She said 5 – 10 mins so, OK not bad. After 10 mins finally she trim my hair and put me in the corner for 30 mins and took the other customers. I was getting upset and tired. To make it short I had haircut and highlighted my hair waiting for less than 6 hours. Waisted my time!!! And they only accept cash.

We’re regulars here. My husband and son go here every other weekend to get their hair cuts. Excellent customer service! and they just know how to get you to buy the whole package. You go for a pedi, then end up getting your eye brows done and new hair cut and hair color! As soon as she says: oh hunneh” I know she’s trying to get me to do something else! I love it there! Then Lunch right next door at jollebe!

I came here a few time before and I love how they do the haircut and waxing. But foot massage wise it sucks. i felt like she was just rubbing lotion on me and it didn’t even felt like a massage. And it’s really unsanitary here at this salon. I was not relax at all

Everytime I come in here to see Christina because she always does a good job on the waxing and cleaning of my eyebrows. She wax, shape, trim & plucks. She always takes her time & values her work. I can see why there are a lot of people that comes in to see her for their eyebrows. Same goes for her husband. My boyfriend loves goin to him for his haircut because he knows exactly how my boyfriend wants his cut & he lines up all his sides really sharp.
The only thing I think they should work on is. not talking in their language so much around customers. For me personally, I really don’t care because I come in so often & I know that she and her husband are very kind people and they don’t mean no harm, but others such as new customers might think otherwise. Other than that service is always on point.
FYI, be prepared to wait if you don’t have an appointment. It gets pretty busy on most days.

This place sucks, I took my son to get his hair cut & they had no idea what they were doing. He’s hair was uneven & they couldn’t even do a simple lineup.

This salon is located in a old run down shopping center across from Mayor Rights Housing and Jack in Box. There is a lot of parking but the parking spaces are small.
Service:
This is a full salon offering haircuts, color and styling for men and women, waxing, manicure, pedicure and even foot massages.
My mom sees Tina for a haircut and eyebrow wax a few times a year. I decided to give Tina. I picked a layered hair cut and asked to thin my hair out. She took her time with my haircut and the end result was absolutely fabulous. I haven’t had a great haircut experience in YEARS! A star was lost for this place because I was unhappy with how Tina did my eyebrows. I expect my eyebrows to be waxed but Tina did more tweezing than waxing.
They accept walk ins and appointments. We had an appointment at 2pm but came in at 3pm on a Sunday. They were very accommodating and for 2 haircuts and eyebrow wax took 2 hours with only being helped by Tina.
Price:
This is a reasonable priced salon but beware your haircut price tends to be different at every visit for the same haircut style. My mom has paid anywhere from $ 15-​$ 30 for her haircut. This recent visit it cost $ 30 for my mom’s haircut and $ 35 for my haircut. I was expecting it to be cheaper since their price board had women’s hair cut starting at $ 14. Eyebrow wax cost $ 9.99. I also noticed their mani/​pedi special is $ 31.99.
Cleanliness:
The salon isn’t the best looking but I think it is because everything is outdated in their salon.
Overall, I think Tina is a great hairstylist and well worth the price. She took her time with my hair. She made sure I was completely happy with my hairstyle. She will definitely be my new hairstylist now. (I’ve been looking for a hairstylist for the past
5 years.)

I don’t ever have to worry about getting a bad haircut. I’ve only had Kevin cut my hair and I have never been disappointed. He takes his time making sure the fade is on point and I’m looking sharp. I always call ahead to set an appointment with him. The only negative thing I can say about getting my hair cut here is that the wait may be long if you come during peak times– usually weekends and/​or after work. After the haircut, he uses a razor for the lineup. There’s usually a complimentary shampoo after as well. This review is based on a male’s haircut only. I’ve never had any other service done here, but I haven’t seen an unhappy costumer so far.

Been going to Kevin and Tina for a long time now. Always had good customer service. They really take good care of you. Kevin is a good hair cut stylist. So if your in the area stop. Prices are way cheaper then other place. I usually pay 13 $ and give them a whole $ 20 lol. Good place

Decided to try a new place to cut hair. My boys have been coming here to get their hair cuts and since I went the last time they cut their hair, I decided to give it a try.
The location is right across Jack in the Box on Dillingham.
My boys all went in and the cuts were quick. I kinda felt bad for the guy cutting hair cause we just walked in and it was the end of the day so im sure he wasnt planning on being there much longer.
The boys hairs came out looking good and so I went in next. I wanted to keep the sides short but keep most of the length on top. So he did a fade. It took a little time but he did really good on it. I think i’ll end up going back there when my hair grows back longer.
I was kinda amazed when talking to the barber because he said he was only cutting hair for a year and a half. It started off as a hobby, but he was good at it so he decided to do it for a living. For a year and a half, he’s pretty good.
The cuts for 10 years and older are 12.99 I think. Not bad price, since I was paying more at another location and the cuts werent exactly what I needed. I left him a pretty good tip for cutting hair for four of us!

Needed a place that was open late and last minute for my Pedi. Called them and they took me 15 minutes before they closed. Third time here and will definitely come back!
