The Twin Bakery and Doughnut

I would come in here every day for one of the Apple Fritters if I had the time, and I knew I would only buy one! It’s super convenient and easy to find. It’s on the corner of Bishop and Hotel streets, next to the salad place on the corner there on the Hotel St side. For me it’s about halfway between my usual coffee spot and my office! So if I end up on the same side of the road as this place by the time I get to Hotel Street, it’s a sure bet I’m stopping! So the doughnuts are all killer, there are the usual suspects, Boston Cream, Glazed, Chocolate Glazed, Apple Fritters. He’s also got Blueberry frosted ones sometimes, Strawberry Frosted, and Peanut Butter filled with Chocolate glaze. The list goes on and on, and it’s not that big of a place, freaking amazing! He’s got coffee as well so if you don’t get it from somewhere else, it could be your morning one stop shop for breakfast! So the doughnuts are awesome but this guy does more than doughnuts, he bakes his own bread, yes that’s right, HE BAKES HIS OWN BREAD. To turn it up to 11 he uses the bread to make what appear to be some pretty great looking sandwiches! I’ve not tried them yet, but I can only imagine the bread and sandwiches taste just as awesome as the doughnuts! So if you’re downtown on Bishop St. or anywhere close by, go check this place out, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
