The Cookie Corner

If I were a cartoon character I would be floating on air like an angel as I glide my way towards the wafting aromas of freshly baked, just out of the oven, chocolate chip cookies. And I swoon. Gets me every time I pass thru the Center Stage area of Ala Moana Shopping Center.
The temptation is too great to resist. I like to stop by here from time to time for a cookie. Just one cookie. That’s all I need. Their fresh baked cookies are sold by weight so I normally pay around $ 1.85 for a piece of heaven. My favorite is the plain chocolate chip cookie. It is sooo good.
This time I wanted to try their current special: The Peanut Butter Cup Cookie. For $ 2.49 you get a full sized Reese’s chocolate peanut butter cup baked onto a peanut butter cookie (⁴⁄₅ Stars.) My favorite chocolate chip still reigns supreme though. (There is another place at AMC that beats Cookie Corner’s but that is for another review.)
They also have gift packs of assorted cookies and individually wrapped fruit bars (lilikoi, lemon & key lime) that make good party favors or otherwise. It’s not cheap though.
Still one of my favorite place to get a sweet treat when shopping at the mall.

I always go there for their chocolate chip cookies, because i like my cookies plain, haha i know weird. But, they go by the pound so i usually just order a couple and its already $ 8 yeah, pretty pricey there. so much cookies to choose from! They literally taste like it just came out of the oven even when you buy it and eat it later, its still soft and good

I thought this was one of the worst cookies I had ever had. I threw more than half of it away! The recipe on the back of a bag of chocolate chips is way better than this burnt price of turd! (Chocolate chip cookie). Seriously I can’t see how anyone could make these cookies and think «hey we should open a cookie store with this recipe»! Horrible just horrible. Go to Walmart and buy some chips ahoy if you want a better cookie than what this place can offer. If you are a cookie lover like I am don’t waste your money promise you will regret it. My mother in law makes a better cookie and trust me I didn’t think that was possible until tonight.

This place made my trip to Waikiki. So glad to find it right across from the hotel. I was there daily! Chocolate chip cookies almost home baked! How can you go wrong?

All the varieties were tasty, but the Chinese almond cookies took me back to my childhood. Definitely plan on stocking up on cookies before heading back to the mainland!

Their fruit bars, particularly the lilikoi flavored, are really good! It’s like a lemon bar, but tropical! I only wish it was even more lilikoi-​y!
They have assortments of shortbreads and also freshly baked cookies. They offer samples if you ask!

Once I get a whiff of CC, I can’t resist and have to have one! My go-​to flavor is chocolate chip.

I love their cookies but the lady was really rude when i just wanted to confirm what she packed.

WOW! GREAT cookies for my first visit! I tried a coconut cookie & Peanut Butter. I have been coming to Honolulu for YEARS, and I dont know how I ever missed trying this place. Don’t bother with Paradise Café in the mall when you want a cookie. I usually like coconut macaroons. I have never had an actual coconut cookie before. Phenomenal. Very coco-​nutty flavor. Soft cookie inside which I love. The Peanut Butter was great too. Crunchy outside & soft inside, almost like a nice cake. Love that! Nice strong peanut butter flavor. Better than most places.(I would love even MORE peanut Butter flavor). But I will for SURE settle with this one! YUMMO!

Cookie Corner’s across Oahu have a reputation of luring people in by just the aroma of their cookies. If you’re in the proximity of a Cookie Corner, you’d know it!
That’s exactly what happen to my family as we window shopped at Ala Moana over the weekend. My nose led me in cookie corners direction, which is literally located on a corner of the 1^st floor of Ala Moana Shopping Center near the food court’s escalator. Of course, as always, there are no prices because it goes by weight but the employee said on average, one chocolate chip cookie is $ 1.60. Indeed, after ordering 3 cookies (1 Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Walnut cookie & 2 Chocolate Chip cookies) our total was a little over $ 4. They do have a promotion, 2 cookies & a milk for $ 3.59 which I will definitely try next time. Oh Cookie Corner, you got me again!

It has been a while since I’ve been to Cookie Corner. On my recent visit to Honolulu, I reconnected, we were reunited and it felt so good! I tend to bring back cookies from them because it’s located in my favorite shopping center, Ala Moana!
To my surprise they sell Tropical Fruit Bars. Three flavors are available, Lemon, Lilikoi and Key Lime. Being the shy guy that I am, haha, I was able to get a sample of the Lemon bars and it was like an explosion of flavor! Got that tang goin’ on and the shortbread crust, mmmmmm hmmmmm it just melts in your mouth! I ended up getting the Lilikoi. Haven’t tried the Key Lime but I’m pretty sure it’s super nice!
I like those bite size chocolate chip cookies they sell. Can’t go wrong with them right?! The assortment pack has the right amount of variety in them. Perfect little things!
The service was okay. When I went, there were a lot of young girls working. They were cool! I like the cookies, the Cookie Corner is awesome! Always seems to put a smile on my face! Lol…

My nose finds this place before I even see it. Their Chocolate Chip cookie is all that and then some. Freshly baked, perfect consistency, warm gooey chocolate chips, and spot on flavor. Their Fruit Bars are excellent! I brought a bunch back home with me and so far everyone has enjoyed them. Employees are sweet and helpful.
There is a Cookie Corner at almost every mall and I’m so glad that is so. They need to have one of these at the Honolulu International Airport, so we can grab some cookies before our flights take off!

I cannot resist! The smell drags me to the street level to get me a cookie fix. As I approach the case line filled with freshly baked cookies, brownies, and rice krispy treats, I feel like I’m having a crazy kid in a candy store moment.
May I please have a chocolate chip cookie please? Wait, maybe I will have another cookie too, a chocolate chip with walnuts please. Ohh, you mean theres a milk and cookies deal? Hold on, please add on the milk then!!! Yes! I always walk away a huge smile on my face, like that kid from the candy store who just scored a victory!
So, back to the milk and cookies deal, since you may still be waiting for that — It’s 2 cookies and a Meadow Gold bottle of regular milk or chocolate milk for $ 3.49! Such a steal, considering one cookie is already $ 1.56.
The cookies when bought from the case line are fluffy and cake like. The chocolate chips are perfectly sweet and always just the right amount of chocolate in each bite, mmm mmm! If you want your cookies a bit more crispy, don’t be sad, they have cookies for you too! Grab the ones available in it bite-​size and sold in cups.

The Cookie Corner… how can a person resist the smell of fresh baked cookies. I swear every single time I am at Ala Moana and I am walking near The Cookie Corner the aroma gets to me and it feels like I’m floating in air until I get to the source of the wonderful smell.
I do have a habit of always ordering the large cup of chocolate chip cookies. Bite size cookies… once you start popping one little cookie in your mouth your going to continue until «WTH…I can’t believe I ate the entire thing».
Other times I do ask for couple of the regular size chocolate chip cookie, peanut butter cookie, shortbread cookie, or chocolate covered shortbread cookie. The cookies are so delicious… I wish I had some right now. LOL. The Cookie Corner is my addiction of sweet which I know is bad for my health especially if I have to watch my sugar intake.
Cash and credit card transactions are accepted at this location. Wonderful customer service. If I’m ever at Ala Moana Center and in the vicinity of The Cookie Corner… I will always stop by for a large cup of chocolate chip cookies.

I saw a LOT of people ordering the cookies and milk combo. Very smart idea there, and a nice way to differentiate from the Honolulu Cookie Co. which focuses much more on packaging (albeit gorgeous packaging). I wonder if they offer dairy alternative milk like soy or almond, maybe for an additional charge? If they don’t, they should consider it!
Picked up a small aloha print patterned tin filled with chocolate dipped shortbread as a souvenir/​gift. The cookies were buttery, tasty, larger and thicker than Honolulu’s, but overall not super incredible. Maybe the fresh ones taste better than the sealed ones? I’ll have to test this next time.
Still giving them high marks for being s solid local company (as opposed to a Mrs. Fields or the like).

It’s the cookie corner. What else can I say? The cookies here are the bomb. Everytime I walk by, the smell just gets me. Chocolate chip mac nut used to be my fave. They don’t make it anymore so now it’s the chocolate chip and walnut. It’s still good but not as good as the mac nut lol. I usually get the two cookies and milk for $ 3.49 but today I was in a rush and didn’t have the time to walk and eat. Instead, I got the large cup of chocolate chip and walnut bites and the fruit bars. All the fruit bars are good but lilikoi is the best.

Fast service, always great flavors, and fair prices. I can’t ever pass this place up every time I’m in the mall. I used to get their cookies when I was a kid in another mall as well so this company must be doing something right to last so long.
My favorites now are the peanut butter chocolate dipped cookies and the short bread chocolate dipped cookies. Just the right balance of flavors exist in each bite. The short bread is on the sugarier rather than the butterier side, but that’s part of what gets you.
The mini cookies in a cup come in a variety of assortments and make great gifts or party favors.
They also started doing specials where your purchase can include milk. The combo idea is simple but makes a lot of sense.

GRRR! Ok, before I go off-​edge salivating on these cookies. I have to share how much I LOVE anything chocolate dipped here! Especially the shortbread dipped in dark chocolate (I blame my friend, Sheetal R. — for hooking me)! Mmm! I LOVE the chocolate chip anything! Yummy! I LOVE the melt-​in-​your-​mouth peanut butter, too! Nom! Oh, and if I’m feeling healthy enough, I’ll grab an oatmeal! Healthy? Yeah, right! Heck, no! Not healthy here, but a place to forget your worries for 5-​minutes or so! No need Dr. Phil or back massage to make us happy. Just an appetite for some freshly baked cookies made with REAL sugar and REAL butter — the way it should be made! Yup! So there!
I admit I get all horny over warm cookies, but who doesn’t love cookies? Heck, I think even Big Bird and Mr. Rogers loved some back in the day! Miss Piggy sure did!

So, everytime I’m on the street level at Ala Moana shopping center I try to avoid The Cookie Corner like the zombie plague! I mean it’s like automatic if I’m 100-​feet radius of the place! The smell alone makes me all fuzzy inside… It’s a trap, I tell ya! Heck, I’m a Cookie Monster on a diet, so only in moderation, for this big blue fuzzy boy, right?! Yeah, right!

Oh cookie corner… my nostalgic childhood snack lol Makes me soo sad that you can only get it in Hawaii. I’ve tried making them myself but I can’t get it right!
The perfect amount of chewieness and chocolate chips! I did notice they make the cookies a little smaller now but just as delicious. They have different combinations to choose from but my favorite is just the chocolate chip. My family always brings them when they visit me in Las Vegas. If you have family in the mainland, forget the chocolate covered macadamia nuts, bring them cookie corner instead! :)

Heaven: Chocolate chip walnut cookie. Soft & chewy with an awesome home-​made taste. Only available in their fresh showcase and not in pre-​packed bags.
