Teddy’s Bigger Burgers

Teddy’s is the best fast food on the island. I love all the burger options. Frikkin Ono. The garlic fries are amazing and I love the shakes and else wet potatoe fries. My wife complained that her chicken was dry, but it happens. I won’t hold it against teddy. :) the guy ringing me up didn’t here that I wanted a soda. When I asked for my cup he said «you didn’t get a combo». So I deducted a star. No biggie tho. I drank my daughters shake. I will definitely go back. When in Waikiki it’s a must. We are staying at aulani now in ko olina and I’m sad because teddys is too far to drive. Lol

Place of business was clean, friendly n helpful staff… food was great!!! I was waiting for my truck to finish detailing at StreetShine… Came here to have lunch

This place is expensive enough and there really isn’t anything too special about it, service is good not great, but the burgers are good and my boyfriend and I come here a lot but to our surprise, we found out the weight of the bugger patties have all dropped by one ounce and the worst part is THE PRICE REMAINS THE SAME!

I have been a loyal Teddy’s customer for well over 10 years when you had your only burger joint by Diamond Head. I originally came from Los Angeles 15 years ago and have eaten many great burgers there but when I tried the medium rare 9oz Original Biggest Burger with cheddar cheese from you guys for the first time after a 4 hour surf session with my friend who introduced me to you, I thought it was the best juicy burger I have ever eaten in my life! Every bite was like heaven. I loved my life!
Ever since then, I have enjoyed going to your joint every week and recommended every friend and family who visited me here in Honolulu to make sure they go to Teddy’s. Everyone agreed that Teddy’s was by far the best place for the greatest burgers. I was excited about your growth in business. Within the 10 years span, you have made yourself into a chain restaurant spreading all around this island! I have a promising career but I thought about working at one of your joints part time just so I can enjoy more of your burgers and see how it’s made.
I have never made a complaint until last Wednesday when I ordered my usual Biggest Burger and found out that you have lessened the ounces on your patties. The taste was the same but the patty felt like any other chain restaurant patty like a quarter pounder from McDonalds! I was so disappointed, I was shaking. I had to ask what was going on with one of your staff and he mentioned that it’s a new standard and that the patties are now an ounce less on each sizes. My Biggest burger was like a bigger burger. The juice from the burger that usually drips down was no longer there as it was cooked to Medium instead of Medium Rare.
I have a suggestion:
*Keep the 9 oz Biggest.
*If you’re going to lessen the sizes of the patties, keep the patties thick and not flat. Your burgers will be more juicy.
*Also, I understand your business’s growth but it’s your quality that made your chain the reputation it is today. Don’t forget about your loyal customers!

Tony and Rain were so helpful at this classic burger joint. Not only did they serve us but, Tony came up to our table on multiple occasions to make sure everything was ok. Everything was great! We were greeted by both at the door and Rain was excellent at conversing and making us feel welcome while also working hard. And we are coming back! The garlic fries and burgers were awesome!

Yes yes yes!!! I love this place. I’ve gotten one of the best burgers I’ve ever had here! The service was quick, it was clean inside, and I enjoyed the food. Along with my burger, I ordered the garlic Parmesan fries and man oh man! Super delicious! I wish I could remember the name of the burger I ordered but I’ll be back again to update my review! You won’t be disappointed if you go here!

Homeless chilling near by. I don’t mind, BUT as I walked in, you can already tell it wasn’t a very clean restaurant. BATHROOM WAS HORRIFYING… they need to clean it MORE often ESPECIALLY cuz the homeless use it. I don’t mind that they do, but a business should have to keep it clean even more.
They don’t really wipe the tables or chairs, so honestly, CLEANLINESS IS A BIG ZERO HERE.
Ordering was fine, guys weren’t rude so that’s a plus. Food came out in 5 minutes, tho our shake took about 10 minutes after. They were nice to come bring it to our table at least.
Ordered kailua burger w Teri fries n a shake. Also ordered unami chicken tenders w onion rings n a small coke. Total was around $ 31. PRICE IS PRETTY EXPENSIVE if you ask me. Took a look at my receipt, this is how they charge: orginal burger $ 6, add on Kailua style $ 4… add combo $ 4, upgrade to Teri fries $ 1, upgrade to shake ANOTHER $ 4! Original chicken tenders $ 6, unami style $ 1, upgrade to onion rings $ 1.50
PRETTY RIDICULOUS I believe. But I guess that’s how they make their money.
Food was mediocre, I think that’s why I’m not really impressed. This is not a place where you HAVE TO go to get that SIGNATURE taste.

If you’ve been to a Teddy’s before, then you know what to expect. If not, what you get is a good burger, usually cooked consistently to medium, and some great fries. The meat doesn’t taste as good as Honolulu Burger Company (HBC), but HBC tends to overcook the burgers when I ask for medium.
Likes: Decent sized parking lot and dining area. The service is pretty attentive for a fast food place. They offer you wipes (because your fingers will get messy), and they offer to clean up your trash. This location also serves scooped Dave’s Ice Cream!
Dislikes: Prices have been going up, but they do offer discounts with the Isle Discount Card. Without it, it’s about $ 10 – 16 for a meal.
Favorites: I like getting the 7oz with cheese, or getting a 5oz with cheese and pastrami with regular fries.
This is probably one of the most convenient Teddy’s to get to. Come here for a good burger and fries, and finish it off with a shake or some ice cream.

This is the only Teddys location I like going to. It’s clean like spotless clean inside and the food is always good quality. I always get the grilled chicken breast sandwich and then add avocado so it’s somewhat healthy haha. We really like coming here after working out at 24 hour fitness gym, so convenient, plenty of parking… They have these new awesome drink machines so your only choice is no longer soda, there’s lemonade and other juices… I just am really impressed by the food here it tastes so much better than other Teddys locations for some reason…

Just some some honest comments about my experience yesterday. Went there with a buddy of mine. Guy taking my order seemed impressively disinterested. Ordered a combo with my burger medium, regular fries. No issues, burger turned out fine.
Buddy orders his combo with his burger medium-​rare. Halfway through, he notices his burger is super rare… Ugh, ok. He doesn’t make an issue out of it though. Nice guy.
Went to grab ketchup for the fries. Can’t find any dispensers. Okay… Ask the girl behind the counter where the dispensers are.
Her: «Oh sorry, we’re out of ketchup.»
Me: «No problem, do you have ketchup packets?»
Her: «No, sorry…»
Me: «So you’re COMPLETELY out of ketchup???»
Her: «Yeah, sorry…»
I probably stared at her for another 5 full seconds contemplating how, for the love of all that is freakin’ holy, a BURGER PLACE COMPLETELY AND ENTIRELY RUNS OUT OF KETCHUP.
I gathered myself and thanked her and we finished our fries either dry or with «buffalo sauce». Yeah… Will stick to the Teddy’s on Beretania from now on.

I just ordered a 9 Oz original with all the toppings plus cole slaw to go. I come home excited to eat it and I see the saddest excuse for a burger. All it was, was a burger without any toppings and a teaspoon of nasty looking cole slaw. I also ordered medium well and it was medium rare. What a waste of gas and my fn time. I don’t know if the night shift employees are asleep or what but this is fn bs.

Teddy’s has really become my standard of quality and value when it comes to bigger burgers. Every Teddy’s that I’ve visited touts their use of fresh chuck, and between the meat, seasoning, and grill expertise, I have yet to be disappointed by a visit to Teddy’s (which is a lot haha).
The majority of all restaurants that serve you freshly cooked beef offer you the façade of how your meat is cooked, while always serving medium or better to avoid any health issues. While prudent in design, steaks and burgers made from good quality beef have AMAZING, buttery flavor when not completely cooked through. The grillmasters at Teddy’s are preally good about honoring your request for rare to medium rare, and the burger is all the better for it.
Fresh lettuce, juicy tomatoes, sharp onions, and thick pickles. If the burger wasn’t good enough by itself, all of the supporting components really take it to the next level. If you’re feeling wealthy, you can add thick, smoky bacon, avocado slices, jalapenos, and more.
Which brings me to value. You can get a burger by itself for around $ 7, which is very affordable compared to other gourmet burger joints. Add on fresh fries and a drink for a meal that comes to about $ 10. This location in particular has one of those awesome new coke machines that allow you to choose from a ton of coca-​cola products and add one of many syrups to it. Vanilla root beer? Cherry ginger ale? Caffeine-​free, lime coke? Do whatever you feel like!
The menu has also exploded over the years, with new options like chicken finger baskets, garlic butter fries, wraps, salads, fish burgers, and tons of other things I haven’t even touched. I have no qualms, since the burgers are as good as ever, so hopefully these options can help you bring your pickier friends along.
Because everything is made to order, the only drawback Teddy’s has is the wait. During peak hours, the back gets super busy, so be prepared to sit and chat for a bit. But trust me, it’s worth the wait!

We were in the area and decided to drop abd try their burgers. The service was excellent and the manager here was very friendly and helpful. I had the original burger with butter garlic fries. The fries were ok but the burger was excellent. I would definitely come here again to have a burger.
The atmosphere here is like something out of the 50’s. I loved it. They were very busy and I definitely was not disappointed in their burger!

So you must order a combo, and you are getting 2 large scoops of vanilla ice-​cream Free. The final price is more than what we usually pay, but we get to try their Famous Garlic Butter Fries!
And it was… sooooo good. I knew my limits, and to not overeat carbs, in this case, the irresistible fries, that smelled incredibly good, I intentionally ate my lettuce wrapped burger slowly, and have my hubby start to dip in to the fries first. And grabbed the last fry just at the end.
I only had one Garlic Butter Fry! And it was delicious and so flavorful! Both of us agreed that it reminded us the escargot dish in Paris, which also has lots of garlic and butter.
I could’ve had more fries, but I must say I am proud of my self-​control and strategy, thank to my lovely husband’s help! (Don’t think Teddy’s burger would sell me only one Fry ;)

Having tried a rainbow of mainland burgers, Teddy’s burgers trumps so many. Not too little and not too much, the ingredients are delicious and hearty. Burgers, fries, and nutella shake, it seems like all of their food is consistently good, so you can’t go wrong with whatever you order, all at a reasonable price! I’ve found my go-​to burger place.
This location is well-​placed. Located in a plaza amidst other shops (e.g. coffee bean, dentist, etc.), you can get errands done in one trip. There is plenty of parking. The establishment is clean, has friendly workers, and accommodates many.

They’re always so nice here! My favorite teddys on island (the worst teddys is in Kailua FYI.) but from the minute you walk in you’re greeted, while you’re eating, you’re checked up on, and when you leave, you’re told goodbye. This friendliness really adds that something extra that you come to appreciate when eating out.
Food is always good. But burgers get messier the more you add to them. I always order the kapiolani– a regular burger with all the essentials plus avocado. Some options are just too loaded and it makes for a challenging meal.
But overall a good place to grub! Add cheese to your frys– winning!

Teddy’s Bigger Burgers makes juicy burgers, crispy fries, and super-​thick shakes. Custom build a burger or choose from one of their menu flavor combinations – I always add avocado and sautéed mushrooms to mine. Choose how many ounces of meat you want and the doneness. Garlic Butter Fries are doused in a buttery sauce with bits of fried garlic. Shakes are made with multiple scoops of real ice cream and are so thick you have to let them melt a bit to suck them through a straw.
Head to Teddy’s for a step above the fast food burger, you’ll be glad you did.

Netter kleiner Burgerladen. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und haben uns erst einmal die Karte erklärt. Nicht immer ganz einfach beim ersten Besuch. Unsere Classic Burger waren sehr Lecker.
