This is a great place to eat. This location is a fantastic place because of their specials that they have and it is worth the money and they have different types of fries like the regular, teriyaki, cheese and chili, whichever fries you like. The best one is choosing two burgers for 7.50, which is a good deal as well as getting the best specials out there. However, just remember that they do not take debit/credit cards and it is cash only. I hope eventually this establishment will accept debit/credit cards for payment too. Don’t get me wrong here, it is a good place to eat and for refills they do charge though. The workers knew exactly what I wanted and it was no mess up there as well as making sure that my orders were correctly made and the burgers were cooked to perfection and it was very tasty with the cheese too. So i am going to be back again since I had the 2 teri burger special for 7.50 and it is highly recommended to go and check it out and you can get icees too for a treat to keep cool on a hot day. So check this place out and you will find what specials you can try

!!WARNING! THISBUSINESSISNOTOPEN(OVERNIGHT)23HOURS A DAY! these Unilocal administrators are a JOKE, and they need to get their act together. they have ample time to pester local businesses about paying them to advertise for them, yet they cant even update and maintain their non-paying customers pages. other than that, the teri burgers here are better than heroin! c’est la vie, bitches

Over price mediocre burgers. Burger was dry With almost no Teri flavor to it. Burger also kinda got lost in all the shredded lettuce, kinda like how subway sandwich is, better off plopping your $ 4 on a W&M burger. It’s waaaay better

Dispute a few bad reviews, I wanted to give this place a try. I got up out of bed at 3:00am(a little jet lagged) and ventured out of my hotel. With my map on my cell and the«Open» messag for this place, how could I go wrong? I took the 6 minute walk. I arrived at this place only to find it CLOSED! Now, I don’t know who reports hours of operation to Unilocal but they really screwed me over on this one. I am here for business… I am a Hurricane Hunter, and rest is extremely important. So if I get out to get food before a flight, it has to be available. Anyone who flies can tell you this important note. Oh well, I had to give this one star. Back to the hotel I go… still hungry. Oh, I didn’t see anything else open on my walk here.

Looks like there are new owners. The prices were raised and the food seems to have gotten worse. It was not bad before but now I wouldn’t come back. It took forever to get my food and they got my order wrong so I had to wait even longer for it to be corrected. And they didn’t even apologize. And the workers were all talking story and laughing while people are waiting around for their food.

This place ain’t bad! Don’t expect gourmet, but if you can lower your high-ass class standards… It’ll do, really! 4-Stars if you’re a MEAT + BUNS + LEAF type of Joe! 4-Stars if VALUE is of top priority! 3-Stars for generic, but OKAYSERVICE! 3-Stars for CONVENIENCE! 3-Stars for taste, ACCEPTABLETASTE! I can’t speak for all the Americanized menu, like corn dogs and fish & chips, but I will speak for the burgers… It ain’t too shabby. Then again, I wasn’t in my normal DIVA mood and expecting taro buns and caviar on the side. Nope I was in my Prada pajamas and just finished my weekly grocery run at Don Quijote on Kaheka St. Fuzzy slippers and all! Okay, I guess I could have dived into my groceries or scooped up a bento and called it a day, but today I figured to give this place a try. A place I passed by maybe 500 times on my way to DQ. I have been here before, but it’s been awhile, perhaps pre-Obama, maybe even pre-George W. Bush! So, I stop by with my blonde niece and decide to go with one of the value specials… Basically TWO burgers of your choice: Teri-burger; Cheese burger; or Regular burger. Your choice and TWO for $ 7 and change. That’s a great deal considering Teddy’s across the street runs about $ 10+ for one burger! Having said that… I was not expecting the most fabulous burger in the world… We order the Teri(yaki)-burgers as our choice. One for me and one for my niece. Oddly my niece can eat more than me and she’s still slim! Good genes and always being active keeps her that way! Anyways, enough of my bragging… After about 5-minutes our burgers are ready and visually we were quite pleased! It was BIG, it was FRESH, and it tasted pretty ONO too! Maybe not as good as a $ 10 Teddy’s, or $ 20 Stage, and no way near the Le Burger Extravagant at New York’s Serendipity, but hey that burger cost $ 300, oh btw. So remembering I paid $ 7 and change for TWO burgers that was pretty GOOD(and filling) I had absolutely no complaints! However, tossing in more Teri-sauce would take it up a notch! Then again I remember how much I just paid! I’ll recommend… H & T BURGERS @ DONQUIJOTEFOODAREA! This place ain’t bad! Oh, and if you’re feeling like a BIG spender add the fries and drink and it’s still way less than the other places. Heck it’s probably on par(cost wise) as one of those fast food places I don’t go to, but at least it’s REAL beef here and it’s cooked to order… Not bad. Not bad at all. OVERALLGRADE: 3.4-STARS! Been coming here for a few years now and it’s by far one of my favorite places to get some teri burgers. The staff is very friendly and the food has always been the same everytime. ^__^ I usually get the #1 combo, plain, with cheese and teri fries. ^__^

This spot isn’t bad, but isn’t special. The prices are average, and if you have a normal appetite, there is just enough food to fill you up. If you are used to huge portions like Rainbows, you will be disappointed. And if you are used to the taste of Bob’s this also isn’t for you. Not a bad stop for quick, BBQ, but don’t expect a whole lot more.

Service was slow. Two Teri burgers with Teri fries took 20 minutes. They don’t use gloves when they touch the food and they touching everything else i. e money, boxes, trash. The griller dropped the burger meat on the prep table as they was setting it onto my sandwich. I just watched if she going make a new one, and she didn’t. So no. Never again. Go kaneohe if you like one ono service and food. The fries sucked

Overpriced now for 2 Teri Burgers. They are tasty and good. Shredded lettuce and dressing is delicious. But the price has gone up and now I will look else where. Overpriced.

We decided to try this place because Yummy was closed. The food has good taste but portions are small. For a mini, got ONE scoop of rice with some teri beef. Not worth $ 6 – 7. You would get a better bang for your buck at L&L.

BEST Teri burgers(for the price). Combo of 2 Teri Burgers or Burger/Fries combo(get Teri sauce on fries) for only $ 6.54. Good, quick burger take out. They also got chili dogs, fish & chips, fish burger, Teri plate lunches, but the Teri Burgers are what I for.

Personally I love this place for a quick meal. Their Teri burger is the bomb and simply the best. The meat is juicy and soft without unnecessary stuff. The French fries are very crispy and hot. The price is also great for a simple meal. I had #1 combo Teri birger meal(asked for onion and teri french fries) with a diet coke =$ 6.54 If you are hungry, get 2 Teri burger special for $ 6.54. A can soda is just $ 1 if you need… Less than $ 7 makes me happy instantly~* What a bargain… when I don’t want to cook on Monday ~!!!

When I go shopping at Don Quijote, I’ve often passed by this burger joint and wondered how this place was? Well, today was the day I had to broaden my burger horizons and try a new place! I tell my co-workers that we should try this place… burgers on me! I must say, the burger combo’s are DIRTCHEAP! For a Teri Burger Combo(Teri Burger, fries, & soda) is just $ 6.26, and if you’re a bit hungry… a Double Teri Burger Combo is just $ 7.78! Overall, I would say — «for what you pay, and what you got»…the burger was just okay… I’ve had better… The teri burger came with chopped up lettuces, tomato, & mayonnaise. The bun was real THICK, but very soft… it probably helped enhanced the taste of the burger. The taste of the teri burger was great, but the meat they used was kinda like a «Mystery Meat» type of thing… or the meat was comparable to a «May’s frozen teri burger» type of thing… Now don’t get me wrong… some people do like the«May’s frozen teri burgers» but for me, I guess I would rather eat a teri burger from Teddy’s Bigger Burger, as they use real meat! But of course, you get what you pay for… Food came out fast & hot. The young dude/cashier taking the orders was friendly & accommodating. I even asked them to NOT put mayonnaise on my teri burger, as I just hate mayonnaise, and they were glad to accommodate my request. This place is basically located at an outdoor food court in front of the Don Quijote store. Lots of free parking, as the Don Quijote parking lot is huge. There is lots of open table/bench seating in the food court area. Oh, and one more thing… H&T Burgers only takes Hard Cold CASH!

I’m afraid this review might not do justice to this business but I gotta say what I gotta say. I am normally not a Burger fan. Not very often I have cravings for Burgers but one time I saw my friend eating a burger from H&T and I tried some of his and thought it was really delicious. So, I ordered for myself. Teriyaki burger with Teriyaki fries. It was ab-so-lutely delish. Became a fan right away. But the real issue came later that night. What issues? Fart issues. All day, all I ate/drink was my usual coffee, soymilk, and chocolate chips which never made me fart and then the burger and fries from H&T that’s all for the whole day. Boy oh boy I fart so much even two pills of GasX couldn’t help and my boyfriend had to suffer the whole night. I AMEMBARRASSED. I guess the meat from the Burger was not handled properly and contained bacteria that messed with my intestines. As sad as I am, as tasty as the food is, I am as gassy as I am. Sorry H&T I cannot return. Peace!!! *Fart *fart *fart … oops Ps. If any of the Unilocalers think this review is unfair, please feel free to contact me :)

I really wanted to give them two different tries before I give them a review. So since I work near Ala Moana eating the same things every single day is so boring! They are located near Don Quijote so after I stopped by the bank I went there and the first time I got a cheeseburger with teriyaki fries. To my surprise the meal was less than $ 7 – 8. They dont let you substitute for icee instead of soda but thats okay. The teri fries were too salty to me, but the burger was moist and juicy! The second time I went and got a fish burger with regular fries. The fish burger to my opinion was ehh okay, not the greatest. I wanted to give it a try because that was what people were raving about. If I come here again I rather get the cheeseburger over fish burger! I only gave it a 4 because they only accept cash.

I’m a fan of good burgers. It doesn’t have to be «huge» just tasty. This place does just that. I like just a good olé cheeseburger. Everytime I order my burger I see them steaming the bun for a short while and I so L I K E !!! This makes my cheeseburger taste even better. Not many places have steamed buns. Be sure to ask if they’ll steam your bun before you order so you’re not disappointed.

Heard this place just opened this past Wednesday, so paid them them a visit yesterday(the next day) to try it out. At the time of my arrival around 4pm it was pretty slow, which is natural for most restaurants during this pre-dinner time frame. I heard they’re known for their Teri Burger, so I chose that, getting the Combo meal #1, which is a Teri Burger, Fries and Medium Drink for $ 5.97. Seems reasonable in this day and age of «gourmet» burger joints. Although I wouldn’t consider H & T Burgers’ «gourmet», as they don’t tout fancy toppings or higher quality mixtures of ground beef. It’s really a plate lunch joint caliber burger that just so happens to be the focus here. Getting to the Teri-Burger(SIC), The teriyaki sauce stood out as being more salty than sweet and more heavy on garlic than ginger. It almost tasted«Chinese» if you will, more so than Japanese in influence. Which would make sense, as the owner, Shon Pak, is Chinese. The beef patty has a random shape to it, having me guess(I forgot to ask) that it’s house-made and not prefab. It’s sort of dense, having that«old school» bread crumb style to it. So if you like them type, this one’s for you. Even at a relatively thin 3/8″ thickness, it was still surprisingly juicy. The only thing I missed was the cross-hatched flame-grilled sear markings on it, as their burgers are all cooked on a huge flat top griddle(essentially a giant frying pan). The shredded lettuce gets a heavy dousing of mayo’ that’s slathered beneath it, which is either a good thing or bad thing, depending who you are. For me, it was sort of in the middle of good and bad. He he. As for the bun, it’s your typical white bread toasted sesame seed type, yet was very fresh tasting, like it had been baked that very morning. The fries were cooked perfectly«GBD» and on par with McDonald’s in taste and texture… honestly! The cashier asked me if I wanted extra Teri’ sauce on my fries, to which I was more than happy to accept the offer. Only problem, the saltiness of the Teri’ Sauce overpowered the fries. I would suggest getting the teri’ sauce on the side in a container, and not poured on the fries. At least based on this experience. Being it was slow, my order was ready within 3 to 5 minutes of being placed. Overall I’ll give H & T Burgers’ Teri-Burger with Fries and Medium Drink Combo Meal a satisfactory 3 stars. See photo section to check out my combo meal order, plus the picture menu.
