I had the worst customer service from here. Jimmy, owner of shop attitude was so bad and very rude… He charged for estimate without explanation. He did not know how to serve customer at all. I will never never go back this store.

I used to have a VOLVO 740 GL 1990. Jimmy is the best. I tried the dealer and other shops but they can’t figure out what was wrong with my break. It was squicking. Jimmy fixed the problem. When he changed parts, he will show you the old part. I will definitely go back to him when I will have another VOLVO car.

I’ve been going to Jimmy to service my Volvo for more than ten years now. Jimmy is honest and dependable mechanic. Very reasonable rate compare to the high price the dealer charged for the same services. I would highly recommend Jimmy’s service to anyone who drive a Volvo.

I decided to look for a different shop as I was not satisfied with the only volvo dealer. I did a search and found this shop. I am SO GLAD I found this place!
I needed to have my timing belt replaced (past 100k miles), but decided to do both the timing belt and serpentine belt as he needed to remove it to get to the timing belt. Price was WAY cheaper than the dealer.
Jimmy, (I believe he’s the owner) works exclusively on Volvos. He’s very friendly, and he showed me the parts that he replaced even without me asking to see the broken parts.
The address for this shop has actually changed and it is on 3018 Waialae Ave. It was a little difficult to find ( Unilocal and google maps had his old address), but it was fine.
I normally do maintenance on my own, but if I don’t feel comfortable with the Volvo, I’ll be bringing it there.
