Coming from Superb Entertainment (game development) group that Haralds was leading during 1994 – 1996, working closely with a geographically spread out group of professionals (now such global collaboration is common, but back in the early 1990s it was practically unheard of), there was side revenue-​generating project: SFR (Space for Rent). Due to inadequate hosting quality and availability for Superb Entertainment global collaborating during 1994 – 1996 and its SFR division, and having identified a sizeable market demand for reliable, dependable hosting, Superb Internet Corporation was formally established and started on July 23, 1996.
