1670 Lusitana St, right at the base of Punchbowl in the Pauoa area. Stopped by because I saw their broasted chicken sign and breakfast special. Glad I stopped. Breakfast special is $ 2.99(for now] and is a great deal for 2 scoops of rice, 2 eggs, and a broasted chicken thigh. The chicken is just the way I like it, not too much batter(unlike Popeyes), juicy and tender on the inside, and seasoned well. Quiet speaking Korean lady is the owner and cook so you can make your plates healthier with some Korean vegetables. But the star is definitely the chicken. Liked it so much I went back after finishing my breakfast special and got 3 thighs and 2 drumsticks to take back home. No tables, small hot interior so it is strictly a take out place.

I live up the street from this place and had been meaning to try it. I called ahead and ordered a regular combo plate of BBQ chicken, meat Jun, rice, Mac salad, greens, corn and beansprouts. Combos come with 4 sides and it was only $ 8.50. **Cash Only** Not sure what’s up with the other reviews… This place is good! Standard Korean plate lunch. It was clean inside.

Very good Korean food!!! Meat jun is yummy. Wayyyy better than yummys and all the other Korean plate lunch locations… Small hole in the wall location but amazing Korean food. Veggies and all sides are so delicious!!! It’s a must go!!!

This is the epitome of a «hole-in-the-wall» restaurant. It’s basically a take out/plate lunch counter on Lusitana Street(right outside of Downtown Honolulu, going towards Punchbowl Cemetery and Pauoa Valley). It’s located in a small building housing a few other small businesses: laundry mat, liquor store, hula studio. Because of it’s size and location, it’s very easy to drive right past it … which is what I recommend you do: just keep driving — as the food isn’t worth stopping or searching for. Being a small shop, the selection wasn’t very large, but we tried the spicy garlic chicken plate as we LOVE both. Unfortunately, we didn’t taste any spice or any garlic. In fact, we didn’t taste anything at all. It wasn’t horrible, it was just flavorless and bland. Craving good, local plate lunch? Search elsewhere. You’re not gonna find it here.

Excelent little local place for Korean and local favorites. It’s a one woman show so call your order in ahead of time, otherwise it can take 5 – 20 mins depending on how many people there is or how big your order may be. All main items are made to order — portions are great and the prices are good as well. Our faves are the Chicken Katsu, Fish Katsu, and the Meat Jun. Excellent short ribs and BBQ Chicken too!
