I’m surprised this location has so many negative reviews! I hate to admit how often I’m at Target and how often I am at this Starbucks location. I love this location. The line flows fast and I never wait too long for my drink. It’s too bad the baristas can’t receive tips! They definitely earn them.

Dear Self, Why did it take you so long to try the Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte? It’s one of the best things on Starbucks menu. Now you have to wait another year before they roll it out again. Nuts.

So, I went here in the morning, and the barista only had the letter«Z» on her name tag. When I got up to the counter, she neither smiled nor asked what I wanted to order. And after I made my order, the barista putting drinks on the bar didn’t call for my drink. My friend had to ask me if my drink was already out for me to notice that it was finished. Maybe a little more customer service training could help the experience there. Especially since you are located in a Target store where families will be going a lot.

Who does not love Starbucks with the amazing added benefit of walking around Target. LOL. This is the only reason that this is my favorite SB. The downfall is that their menu is a little more limited, but it’s fine by me. The staff is always friendly and the wait is never too long.

The worst Starbucks experience that I ever had. All I wanted was a tall blonde roast, but instead I got the worst cup of coffee ever. The coffee was luke warm and to top it off there were still tiny pieces of coffee grind in it! On top of that the customer service was terrible! I went to the counter to add some half&half to my coffee and nothing was on the counter. So I politely asked one of the barista girls if I could have some creamer. She rolled her eyes and slowly walked to the back to grab some. When she came out, she handed me the creamer and then said«you can put this over there on the table where the sugar is.» I was appalled. As a customer, since when was it my job to put out your supplies? It should have already been out there! I will never return to this particular Starbucks again. That was thee worst customer service I have ever encountered.

I’m giving this Starbucks inside Target in Salt Lake 5 stars for one reason and one reason only… This is the very first Starbucks in Hawaii that has accommodated my request for a Captain Crunch from the secret menu! Every other location I’ve been to would tell me, «No, we don’t do that.» And I would get idiotic stares like I said something blasphemous, or I insulted their mother or something! And although the baristas at this location hasn’t committed the ingredients to this drink to memory, the very helpful and cute cashier said all I had to do was pull the menu up on my phone, and they would happily make the drink for me. And this seriously tastes exactly like the Captain Crunch cereal with Crunch Berries!(Technically, they’re not allowed to call it a Captain Crunch because of trademark issues with Kellogg’s. Possibly why this drink is on the secret menu to begin with. LOL) Thank you to all the baristas and the cute cashier at the Starbucks inside Target Salt Lake… YOUGUYSARESERIOUSLYFRICKENAWESOME!

Let me get this venting review out of the way before the New Year arrives(LOL) Convenient because they’re located inside Target but they could have better baristas there. I ordered a tall iced coffee, unsweetened and no cream. Order sounds pretty simple right? The girl mumbles something in a very(and I mean VERY) small voice. I say«what?» She mumbles again. All I can hear is «Did you want(then mumble mumble)…» I look at her with a puzzled look. Thinking maybe she has comprehension issues, I say«I want a tall iced coffee — UNSWEETENED, No CREAM» She stares at me, and says«You mean…(mumble mumble mumble)?» I just stood there wondering what the freak is going on here — and she then looks at me as if I had three heads and then SIGHS to herself and says something like«Alright then…» and rings me up. Oh was I pissed. I was so pissed that I tried later on to figure out just what the freak it was that she was asking me. I went to a different Starbucks on a different day and remembered about that odd interaction with this girl, so I looked at their Menu Board under ICEDCOFFEE and saw that there was something called«Classic Iced Coffee». So she was asking me if I wanted«Classic Iced Coffee»??? Is Classic Iced Coffee the drink I described to her TWICE(or maybe three times before she gave me the«I give up» attitude)??? If so, then YES. Thats what I want. If it isn’t, then NO, that isn’t what I want. Just gimme a flipping tall iced coffee that is unsweetened and with no cream/milk??? Here’s how to improve this issue : First — get better baristas with better attitudes Second — once you find those better baristas, train them to SPEAKUP. You see the customers wheeling around squeaky shopping carts, kids crying and screaming, people talking, people walking into the store, cooler by the cash register humming — it’s freaking NOISY. I can’t hear your mouse-y little voice. Psst, it’s time to use your OUTSIDE/PUBLIC voice. Third, I’ve been ordering an iced coffee the way I order it for decades and no one has ever been confused. Is it really that difficult? Tall Iced Coffee — Unsweetened, No Cream(or Black). Figure it out and just ring it up!

I used to work at a Starbucks and this one gives the company a bad name. Horrible customer service and no smiles. Fire all of your employees and hire new ones. Coming from a former Seattle Target Starbucks worker. Also, I always say no whipped cream and they never seem to understand that.

This visit to starbucks was so disappointing. I went to purchase a caramel brûlée and when I received my drink it was just a plain frappé no caramel syrup, no caramel bits that make it a caramel brûlée. I don’t know why I paid so much for a plain frappé especially when the employees working didn’t even bother to say they were out of the caramel bits and syrup apparently. It didn’t help that when I asked for the topping the girl working said they were out in the most unapologetic tone and face. I’ve never had such poor customer service from Starbucks before, I definitely would not come here again.

This is seriously the most unprofessional Starbucks I’ve ever visited. This summer Starbucks was doing a promotion for half off shaken iced teas and iced tea lemonades during happy hour. When I ordered my shaken ice tea lemonade it wasn’t half off. I asked the cashier why, and she stated, «the teas with lemonade are not part of the promotion.» I believed her and purchased the drink anyway. The next day I visited the Starbucks near Valkenburgh, and written on the chalk board, «half off shaken ice tea and ice tea lemonades during happy hour» Needless to say I will never purchase a drink from the Target Starbucks. They don’t know their sh*t!!!

Open at 0600, but they don’t have my passion tea with strawberry and tai walls. So disappointed, as soon as they open they are busy. Would be nice if they open at 0530.

Starbucks has always been my choice of coffee. The customer service and quality of coffee has always been superb… up until my visit at the Target Starbucks #76998 this afternoon. Unfortunately I was not able to get any of the team members names, but again, unfortunately not one of the team members provided the customer service I usually experience. My usual order is an Iced SOY two-pump caramel latte. I notice the barista making the coffee pour 2% milk into the cup named«Clarice.» So before any more milk was poured, I went up to the counter and told her that my order is with soy milk. Rudely she told me that the order does not say soy milk. She asked if I really needed soy, then proceeded to tell me that I needed to get back in line and pay for the soy milk that I «supposedly» ordered. So I stepped back in line, after the 5 people in line I paid my 63 cents worth of soy milk. Not one person apologized. I could care less about the 63 cents extra that I had to pay, but it was the horrible customer service that I received that really makes me not want to go back to that location. I’ve experienced similar situations where my order was incorrect, and the baristas were more than happy to correct the order, graciously apologize and produce quality customer service and coffee.

What? New? Hold on! Wait! Located inside Target that provides ample clean seating and warm baked products! Baristas are friendly, fast, and accurate. I love everything about this location. Stop by and grab your favorite drink and enjoy your shopping experience high on coffee. =)

Located just right of the entrance as you enter the Target. This Starbucks is pretty clean especially with the heavy traffic of Target customers. The staff is very friendly. The told us about their signature drinks. And they joined our enthusiasm about the holiday cups arriving and their new holiday cold drink cups. The drinks were made quickly and were delicious as usual.

Really? why on earth did the Starbucks @Target location need to be updated so now ALL those check ins and reviews are lost in Unilocal limbo? So confusing! Ah well, hey peeps, it’s a Starbucks. :D Inside a Target. Woowoo. Same yummy mega calorie treats as any regular freestanding Starbucks but with the added convenience of being right. there. at the entrance/exit of Target. Ha! Bet you thought you could skirt past the door without catching the addicting aroma of brewed coffee and so-bad-but-they’re-so-good-you-just-gotta-have-one cake pop/quick bread/cookie/muffin/donut. barista’s are most often friendly and whip out beverages like a flash. Edited to add: Here! Go enjoy all those previous reviews so they feel loved & useful: D
