If you are in a rush and see a line of more than four people, move on! While most Starbucks locations can whip through a line five times as long in no time, that is not the case here. My mom and I were the fourth or fifth customers in line, so we figured we would get a quick coffee on the way out of the airport. How wrong we were! 30 minutes later, we were still waiting. It took us about 40 minutes or so from getting in line to actually having our first sip of the coffee. The problem? They only had one very slow worker taking the orders and another filling the orders. I thought that because orders were being pumped out so slowly that the person making the drinks would eventually finish with the drinks and would cashier for a while just to tackle the growing line. Somehow, that never happened. Best to hope there is a Starbucks in your terminal, which is ultimately better anyway, because then you won’t have to chug it before going through security.

I’m not really one to complain but one of the workers here was just flat out rude and disrespectful. I was just asking questions about my drink that she was making and all she could respond to me was«did you pay for it?» of course I paid for it. She didn’t have a name tag. So after a few minutes, I went back in line to get something small so I can find her name on my receipt. As I was in line, she was talking to her friends who were before me in another language. Totally disregarding the line behind them. She gave the person free coffee when all he asked for was hot water. She then printed out a blank receipt and asked him for his phone number. As a customer, it was very unprofessional. She could do that outside of business hours. Her name is Lourdes. The other barista, Evangeline was very friendly.

They double charge my Starbucks card. However, they keep saying they didn’t over charge. Their face looks like we owe them money. However, they charge about $ 41 for our transaction. Mark didn’t know how to use the machine. He ask me charge scan my card two times.

WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER. We went to buy three drinks and also to pick up a bag of kona coffee before our flight. We usually pay using the Starbucks app, and when we tried paying for our items, an employee by the name of MARK charged us twice. When he charged us twice, he refused to return the money despite the fact that we showed him we were missing $ 40 from our account. He called his terrible manager ALLEN who also refused to return the money. After showing these two inept employees how to do basic addition, they finally returned our money. To top this all off, they continued to act like it was our fault when they obviously overcharged us.

This is the WORST Starbucks I ever been to. We were dropping off family at the airport very early in the morning and I understand not all people are morning people but if you can’t be friendly that early in the morning find another job where you don’t need to be in front of customers. There is a barista named«Teresa» who was incredibly rude. I asked her a simple question and she threw me attitude. She needs some customer service training ASAP! So not only did I receive awful service but everything is overpriced here. And to top it off, the coffee tasted horrible. If it tastes that bad this early in the morning it is probably all downhill from there.

Every time I come, they always screw up my drink, whether it’s a salted caramel hot chocolate or a hazelnut frappucino, it’s never consistent with other locations for drink quality. And like an idiot, I keep coming back because I keep hoping my next experience will be different as I drop off a guest and wait with them until they go through TSA. Okay service, but drink quality is piss poor, considering you’re paying $ 5 for a small drink!

A very nice and convenient location at the airport before you check in through security. The workers are nice and the service is nice.

There were too many employees running around for how few customers were there. I ordered a vanilla bean and the employee asked if I wanted whipped cream. I said no. She turned around to say something to another employee, then turned back to me and asked if I wanted whipped cream. I once again said no. Waited for my drink… and it had whipped cream on it. She hadn’t marked the cup that I didn’t want any. Gimme a break, guys. I’ve been to Starbucks that were infinitely more crowded who don’t mess up infinitely more complicated orders.

Much pricier than regular locations. I’m not sure why these vendors can get away with 30% higher rates. This is why I love airports such as Vancouver International where merchants are not permitted to charge more at airport locations than their other locations.

First time we noticed Starbucks were getting stingy: $ 0.80 more for a second nut mix when two used to be standard with the oatmeal.

Simply put, Honolulu International Airport is a tourist trap. Prices are exorbitant compared to what you can expect to pay in central Honolulu or even in Waikiki which is higher priced but still cheaper than airport prices. For example, a luggage cart at the airport costs $ 4 where at other top airports it may be free. A bottle of juice runs $ 3.50 from the vending machine which takes $ 1 bills only. This is to point out that if you run into trouble at the airport, this is to say that you will pay dearly for it. After flying back from overseas, I had a bit of trouble with my phone so I had to use a public phone. Problem was that I could not find any change machines anywhere and the businesses are unwilling to change bills for you. Leaving you to either ask a passerby if they have change or buy something so you can get the change you need. I came across this Starbucks near the Japan Airlines departures terminal near Lobby 5⁄6. Ended up paying over $ 3 for a hot tea. Quite a bit more than any of the ones in town. This Starbucks is situated on an outside lanai so there is no air conditioned seating. Just covered tables in which you must deal with the outside heat and sun. I guess I am happy that I got the change here to make the call, but seriously the food places at the airport including this Starbucks leave a bad taste for travelers with its exorbitant pricing and poor ambiance.

What would I do without my standard morning latte, even on vacation in the land of Aloha. Just across the street from Shoreline Hotel where we were staying. Every morning, stroll across the street for my usual and watch strangers from all the corners of the earth, enjoy their drinks. I will definitely be staying somewhere close by to this Starbucks if I am ever back in Waikiki again. Be warned, it is one of the more expensive Starbucks I have been to. But I thought, if you are in Waikiki, better cough up the dough if you want to maintain your morning ritual, like back at home, wherever that might be.

Rudest service I ever had at a Starbucks, which is not conducive to the fact everything is 2 $ more than on the mainland

A coffee shop without a toaster or bagel cutter is absurd. A toaster can cost less than $ 10 come on Starbucks you’re better than that

I somehow end up at this Starbucks every time I’m passing through Kailua. It’s a great little location, but I’m always stupid enough to pick up(and buy) a sandwich before I realize they’re nearly $ 10 apiece! Shit those are pricey sandwiches!

Starbucks in name only. Cannot give out anything but«small»(tall) water? No reader for iPhone? To add insult to injury, this is the most expensive Starbucks I’ve been to. Picked up a turkey sandwich for the flight, to be updated once I’ve tried it.

Grande nonfat latte, tall hot tea, and a scone. Ah, wait. We’re not back on the mainland yet? Oh yes, those are airplanes out there.
