Upon calling prior to check if they take credit card or are cash only (They are Cash-​Only!) and to see if I needed to call in an appointment or if I could just walk-​in, I entered the shop and had Reggie approach me very promptly to ask what I would like today (I came in for nipple piercings), and to read the Terms and Conditions for body piercings and aftercare, and to sign in.
The shop is tiny and well designed, so you know you’re in good company. I was the only one in there, so Reggie and his apprentice piercer immediately set up for the session. I was very comfortable with the way it was set up, they lowered and closed the blinds and curtains in the back room after I entered, knowing I would have to remove my clothing and bra for the procedure. He cleaned the area, marked the insertions for positioning, and made sure I would see where they were going before he put the rings in.
While I wish I could say it was both quick AND painless, it was absolutely a quick and comforting procedure. Reggie does his piercings, most of them from what I know, without a clamp, so its definitely less painful then usual. I have had my nipples pierced before this, and it was so much better this time around, with Reggie.
After we were finished, I checked them in the mirror. and they’re fucking amazing! He made sure to go through the whole disclaimer and aftercare speech, along with giving me thorough instructions to take home with me, and that I am more then welcomed to come back if I’d like to replace the jewelry after they’ve healed.
I definitely will come back again and refer this place to anyone else! I’m so happy I came here, and for $ 50 for BOTH. that’s a STEAL! Amazing rock bottom price for amazing work, what more could you want from a Tattoo Piercing Shop?

I’ve gotta give ⁵⁄₅ for Reggie their piercer! I was a walk in after reading his reviews here on Unilocal and I’m pleased I chose this shop! he made me feel so comfortable and explained everything step by step. it settled my nerves a ton when I asked how long he’d been piercing & found out it was for over 20 years! everything was handled extremely professionally & his experience truly shows & I am so pleased with my first body piercings other than my ears! if I ever do another piercing I’ll be back & will definitely be recommending others!

Walked in around 8:30PM on a Satuday with my friend to get our ears pierced and there were no customers there so Reggie was able to take us right away. Just a heads up, this place is CASH ONLY, which I failed to read on before going here. Luckily, there’s a 7 – 11 with an ATM right around the corner where I was able to get cash. My friend and I both got a triple helix piercing and we were there for about an hour total. My friend went first and I nervously watched as she got the front part of her helix pierced three times. Everything went well and my friend was done in what seemed like no time. I went next and got an outside triple helix piercing (if that’s what it’s called). It felt like the second piercing was difficult to get the earring on, which was a little sore, but other than that everything went okay. Reggie made sure that I was doing okay the entire time although (because I’m a baby) I was wincing in pain during the second piercing.
My friend and I both paid $ 70 for our piercings, which I felt was very reasonable. He had told us in the beginning that 1 piercing would be $ 30. so to get 3 for $ 70 was a steal. especially comparing to other piercing /​tattoo shops.
I would definitely recommend this place for piercings to friends and will come back when I get the urge to add another hole to my head. :)

I came here to get my tragus pierced. My piercer was Reggie, and he was awesome! I had just expected him to find a spot and pierce like most places, but he actually drew three spots that were piercing possibilities on my tragus. I didn’t know which one I wanted so I asked him to choose what he thought would look best, and I’m glad I trusted his judgement! It looks so nice, I’m very happy with the results! I was a little scared (butt sweating and all around nervousness) but Reggie helped calm me down and I’m really happy with his work! I’ve had my tongue pierced by him before at this location and he made me feel relaxed and distracted me while he did his work. It barely hurt, just a pinch! Definitely come here if you want a piercing done by a true professional!

Came in just to get a new nose ring and Reggie pretty much repierced it and fixed what I guess was a wonky piercing (did not get pierced here). He only charged me $ 5!Most importantly I felt super comfortable with him! Very nice, friendly, easy to talk to, and he gave me a lot of useful information. Will return soon for more piercings soon :)

shitty!!! They spelled my grandmothers name wrong!!! This place is full of unprofessional delinquents! NEVER GO HERE! After he messed up my tattoo he asked me if he could make it up to me by taking me out. I am discussed and crying.

I never thought I would EVER do this but here I am at 25, getting my septum pierced. At this point I have removed all my previous 21 piercings, leaving only my gauged ears but here I am at Smiing Devil, piercing my Filipino nose.
Reggie was super nice and funny, made the process that much more comfortable. He showed me the 14G but I wanted to go with the 16G because it was less… bull-​like nawi’msayin.
He explained that 16G would be irritating and that I would have to keep adjusting it but he said it was my decision. DUH of course I went for the smaller one haha. He cleaned out my nose (thanks man) and everything was sterile and clean. He explained what he was going to do every step of the way which was nice.
After my nose was pierced (feels like someone squeezing the blackheads out of your nose gross but it’s an accurate description) my eyes teared up like crazy which lasted for like 10 seconds. Afterward he put the jewelry in and he even changed it for me when I said I wanted smaller balls (teehee that’s what she said). He was really accommodating :)

With the exception of my ears and navel, I’ve had all my piercings done at a fabulous place in Seattle. Because I was interested in dermals, I contacted a very good girlfriend of mine who had a few piercings of her own. She highly recommended Reggie over at Smiling Devil. Not only was he professional and informative, he was a friend from another life ago.
Overall, they are professional and super friendly and shop itself is small and «cozy». And one of the biggest pluses with them is that you don’t have to make an appointment to get piercing done.

Got a cute cherry tattoo by Jason on my vacation. Great service. Friendly guys. Also bought a nipple ring because I lost mine. Very affordable. Love my tattoo. Highly recommend Jason for your tattoo.

Smiling Devil is an awesome shop and I am surprised there are not more reviews on here! (If there were more reviews, they would be raving!) I came in the other night for a piercing and was greeted and assisted by Reggie right away. Reggie is an awesome guy and good piercer who will take the time to listen to and answer your questions thoroughly. The actual piercing did not take too much time, and it was done in a clean and comfortable environment. He provides thorough after-​care instructions as well, and offers his assistance in the event you have any issues or concerns. Being located on the mauka end of Kalakaua means there is ample street parking all around (or curb parking if you have a bicycle/​moped/​motorcycle).
Even more kudos to Reggie, 3 nights after my piercing I thought the swelling was a little much and it was actually preventing me from being able to clean the piercing like I should. I popped back in to the shop unannounced and he quickly replaced the barbel with a longer one, FOR FREE! Can’t beat that follow up service!
Piercing prices at Smiling Devil are awesome and much more competitive than the other piercing shops around the island. With Reggie’s awesome service and awesome prices, this is one of the best places to go for your piercing needs, and it is where I will go back in the future!

Stopped in to get a piercing because I’d heard good things and the reviews were good. I was not disappointed at all. Reggie took his time and made sure I was very happy with the placement (I changed my mind a couple of times) before he worked his magic. I was in and out in well under an hour, and I got exactly what I wanted at a price I couldn’t beat. I am definitely recommending this shop to everyone I know… and all of you!

A few days ago was Friday the 13^th, so why not commemorate the last one of the year with a new hole in my body? Smiling Devil was also celebrating by doing $ 13 piercings that day, and I had been itching to get my septum done for the longest so it was definitely perfect timing.
Knowing an apprentice at the shop, I had inside knowledge that the piercer Reggie was only gonna be there till 9:30. Luckily for me I got there by 9. My first impressions of the shop was that it was a cozy size, kind of like someone’s living room almost. The area where all the work was done was shared with the tattoo guys as well, but extremely clean and uncluttered.
During the whole process Reggie was suuper friendly and conversed with me, unlike other piercers I’ve had in the past. Really makes you feel comfortable while you’re getting a needle shoved into your body haha. He was also the only piercer ever to check my id while I filled out my information, talk about professionalism! Another thing that I liked was that he wanted to do the job perfect, letting me know that since this was a blind piercing, it if didn’t come out straight that he wouldn’t be happy. That’s how you know someone takes pride in their work. He was even nice enough to change out my tragus piercing with jewelry I had brought in. I would definitely go back to get other piercings done by him in the future!
Parking is the easiest if you’re going up mauka (towards the mountains) on Kalakaua and utilizing the meters along the block which are free after a certain time. If not right in front of the shop, the next block up has some meter stalls after the high rise next to 7 – 11.

Since I moved to the island, I get all my piercings done by Reggie. Staff is pretty friendly, a little intimidating at first, but great after you get to know them. Shop is clean. Can’t say how great tattooing may be…

I have nothing but good things to say about this tattoo shop. When I went in, I was very impressed with the sanitation efforts by all of the employees. Also, I got my tattoo done by Lexy and it ended up being a 10 hour session. She was even nice enough to come in on a Sunday which is one of her only days off. I got a very linear leg sleeve which demands straight lines and good shading. It came out clean! Jayson also helped lay down the stencil that sunday which was HIS day off. I recommend this place to anyone looking to get a killer tattoo and good service.

The staff here is very professional. Jason did a great job easing me through my first tattoo! He has a great way of calming your nerves and giving you breaks when you need it. All the lines were straight and it was a nice clean turnout. He kept his work area was kept very neat and sterile.
I absolutely LOVE Reggie’s piercings! He was able to help me with my piercings. Even though there was a lot of scar tissue I already had previously, he got all 3 earrings in nice and straight.

Tattoo artist was very nice, and shared my enthusiasm for me getting my tattoo, but the quality of it wasn’t satisfactory. It was crooked and wasn’t colored in some places.

I got a tattoo on my chest from here a few months ago. I had been checking out a lot of different shops in the area and I found a design in Jason’s book that seemed similar to what I wanted. He did a great job, and worked quickly too. We manage to get the whole thing done in one sitting, and it was pretty inexpensive as well.
