It is the goal of Simply Wood Studios to create and expand interest for higher-​quality art and crafts from around the Hawaiian state. Our focus is to introduce Hawaiian artists along with their work creating more interest in the local art community. We carry work from over 70 local artists and have gifts and art for everyone.

Established in 2008.

Simply Wood Studios is an idea born from the mind of a wood artist and businessman who no longer felt the theory of the «starving artist» should still hold true. Our company is dedicated to promoting wood artists from all around the world. We strive to both show and sell these beautiful creations to people all across the country.

Meet the Business Owner

Aaron L.

Business Owner

Aaron P Lau, or «P» Lau («stinky» in Hawaiian slang) as he is affectionately nicknamed, began his fascination of wood when he was very young. Influenced by his Grandfather, Aaron would play with hammers, nails, and sand paper while being looked after by his Grandparents in Honolulu, Hawaii. He has taken up woodworking recently while working as an independent Financial Advisor and Executive Loan Officer in Honolulu. His background in marketing and finance has helped him with his success with such a creative business. After his Grandfather’s passing in 2000, Aaron has since setup his workshop where his Grandfather once worked underneath the house. He has created a flourishing business in woodworking and selling wood art.
