Meet the Business Owner
Larry F.
Business Owner
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Larry D. Foster moved to Hawaii in 1978. He began his foray into the art world in 1990 when he worked at the Wyland Gallery’s on Kaua’i and Oahu. In 1990 he worked as an art assistant at the Livingston Gallery in the Hilton Hawaiian Village. One day, while working in one of the galleries, Larry heard a woman gasp while she was gazing at a painting. He went to ask if she was okay. Speechless, gesturing at the painting, Larry inquired if she was having an ‘Art Attack,’ thus the name of his business was born. Larry was also involved for a short time in the publishing business where he worked alongside local artists Rick Lawrence and Bob Abraham by releasing limited edition prints. In 2002, Larry began focusing more on his personal art and custom framing. He enlisted in monoprint classes with George Wollard at Lilikona Art School. Larry continues his art practice by letting his inner child out to explore and play.
