They got they most inexpensive dry cleaning available around town! Came in and dropped off a suit and it only costed me $ 13.95!

I dropped my curtains off yesterday and I picked them up the same day, how awesome is that! They altered or should I say hemmed, my curtains. They really did a pretty decent job! Not to mention same day service, for a very affordable fee. Would I use them again in the future? Hands down, «yes,» I’d be a foolish person not to. The couple who own and run the shop work hard and their prices are very reasonable, as opposed to their bigger name competitor’s. The quality of their work has been good thus far and I look forward to utilizing their services for a long time to come.

The prices here are sky high and you have to have cash. The staff seem nice enough but when I went to go pick up my laundry he found he made a mistake of over $ 30 in his own favor. I did not appreciate that I had to ask him numerous times how he got to the price in the first place. I gave it two stars only because things turned out nicely, but not necessarily better than any other cleaners. Also, parking is tight!

This is in reference to their regular ‘olé just go in there to do laundry business. The area is next to a whole bunch of Korean places like a restaurant, karaōke bar, etc. You can tell that the place is run by Koreans. I randomly came here just to do some random laundry and the experience was pretty good. To do a regular wash is about a buck 50. I didn’t have quarters so I asked one of the workers. I came in at lunch time and it wasn’t that busy. The facility is like a typical laundry atmosphere. They have a private restroom for you to use which most laundry places don’t have. You get to listen to some interesting Korean radio if you decide to stay and wait for your laundry. The parking can be limiting because it is pretty small and can get packed depending on what time you go. I wouldn’t mind randomly coming back again to do some more random laundry. I have been a regular customer at Sheridan Laundry Center for a long time for alterations, specifically. Before, I had always recommended the place to other people for their accuracy in hemming jeans, fixing zippers, and altering whatever it was you needed fixed to fit you right. Plus, it had always been done at such a nominal cost and in a speedy manner that I had never considered every finding another alterations place/cleaners. That is, until today. I came in asking them if they could shorten the strap on a bag I had just purchased, since they had done so previously on a different bag. They said they could. I then proceeded to ask them tentatively if they would be capable of cleaning a Dior bag that I have, which was white and turning somewhat yellow with minor stains. He took a look at it and claimed that he would be able to try his best to do so, but couldn’t promise anything. He then gave me a slip to come pick it up a week from that day. One week later, I came to pick up my bags, but they weren’t ready and so they told me to come again the next week. The next week. I come back in hopes of having my bags back especially since I wasn’t able to use them the week before for my birthday, as planned. Again, they apologized(unapologetically) and said to come back again the next week since they had been so backed up. Rather exasperated, I asked them if they were sure it would be done next week. They said yes. The next week. The boss/owner happened to be vacationing in Maui preventing me from, yes — once again, getting my bags back in one piece. The week after that. The boss/owner was back, but said the bags still weren’t done. When I asked if they would still be charging me, he said«Yes, I told you the first day how much it would cost.» Somewhat baffled, I said«um. okay» and left YET again empty-handed. The next week, I come back and he gives me ONE of my bags. Yes, it was the cheaper one at that. No Dior to be found. Plus, the bag that I had asked to shorten its straps looked as if it had been through hell when I had brought it in brand-new. TODAY(5 weeks later) I came to pick up my Dior and yup, you guessed it: TERRIBLECONDITION. It hadn’t been cleaned WHATSOEVER and instead, the leather straps and linings were completely frayed and faded and in no condition to be worn nor shown off. PLUS, the owner/boss wasn’t even in the shop! Instead, an employee had to call him over the phone so that he could talk to me via phone and explain that he was not liable and I was still going to be charged. I scoffed and said«I am in no way paying for this or the other bag especially since you had initially told me to pick them up in ONEWEEK and I came week after week until it was finally done over a month later and for what?! To see it in frayed pieces?!» Instead of trying to alleviate or mitigate the situation and my anger, he sounded agitated and irritated at the fact that he was even being bothered over the phone. AREYOUSERIOUS?! All I’m going to say is, I will NEVER be coming back here as a customer. Ever.

This is in reference to their drop off laundry service. I’ve found myself having no time, recently. to do laundry myself. So decided to look in town to see if any would suit me. This one does, to a T. They have decent parking, right smack dab in the middle of town(between King/Beretania & Piikoi/Keeaumoku). I drop my laundry off late morning, it’s ready for me to pick up mid afternoon. It’s folded, separated into general his/her’s, and bottoms/tops, underwear in a separate bag. It only costs me approx $ 10 more than what I would normally pay when doing laundry myself. Not having to sit around bored while my laundry is spinning?! Awesome! Ala Moana shopping, here I come! I’ve been so happy with them that I go back every other week. I might not be able to understand everything they say(heavy Korean accent), but their service is excellent and they are honest people(I’ve forgotten license, debit cards, money in pockets many times).
