History
Established in 2006.
With over 7 years experience, Anri started her own nail booth in 2006 in a small Salon near Kapiolani. The business quickly grew as local clients learned of her fantastic services, and unbelievable nail art skills. As the demand grew and client had to book nearly 1 week in advance to see her. Anri decided to open her own salon and space that could accommodate her clients. Being right at the border of Waikiki & Kapiolani this makes the Salon both welcoming to locals and tourist.
So in December 2008 Salon Cherie opened! And We must say the outcome and response has been fantastic. Everyday there is something new, and Anri welcomes all the new referrals shes been getting. «It makes me so happy to see my customers response when they see my nail art. That’s the best part of my job»
Meet the Business Owner
Anri B.
Business Owner
Anri B. originally from Yokohama, Japan has been doing nails for over 10 years now. She first started it as a hobby but it soon bloomed into a passion which fueled her to leave her job and become a nail tech. She studied has been licensed both in Japan and Hawaii. Dreaming to open her own Salon and share her work with the people of Hawaii. Anri first started on her own in 2006, opening a single seat nail booth in a hair salon. The demand for her nails became so great customers were starting to book one month in advance to see her. Realizing that she there was a need to quickly expand and open a larger space Salon Cherie was created. The name «Cherie» was picked for it’s meaning in French and feminine characters of darling, sweet heart, sweetie, beloved… Anri feels every girl wants to feel this way. Anri believes that the care and her personal service for her clients is what’s most important. Sure everyone loves my nail art, but personality and service is also so so important.
