Wife and I got new ink while we were on holidays and we would just about fly back from Australia specifically to get more. Little Chris did a great job on the wife’s flower while Tomo added to my collection.
Customer service is amazing both the guys are outstanding artists.

I highly recommend theses guys! I had Little Chris design a polynesian turtle for me. Excellent! I had him put it on the outside of my right calf. He explained what all the different symbolism is in the design. Chris has a very light touch. The shop was very clean, and ask the artists were very professional and friendly.

I came here on a Saturday night with my sister and two of my cousins. We got small, matching palm tree tattoos by Mike and Daniel. It’s a simple tattoo, but it’s something we’ve been wanting to do for years and is very special to us. That said, the guys at Sacred Art Tattoo made this a great experience. One plus is that they have a lower minimum ($ 60) than most other shops in Waikiki. We called to make an appointment, but they said they looked pretty open that day and told us to just walk in. So laid-​back. Our tattoos only took a few minutes, but in that short time they were very reassuring to my cousin who was getting her first tattoo, and they were friendly and personable. I like that they played movies on a big screen TV to help pass the time.
The 4 of us love our tattoos! They designed and placed the tattoos to be flattering on the body. Getting our tattoos was definitely our favorite memory from this trip :)

Walking into the shop I noticed it was very sanitary. The tattoo artist even opened the door for us as they welcomed us in. They were very organized and worked cohesively as a team. He also had our sketches ready to go. All together great experience cannot wait to go back and get more tattoos including finishing my body piece! Night or day they are there and ready for you to bring you inked to life.

Tomo did an amazing job with my sister’s tattoo. It was her first tattoo but he made her feel comfortable. He stayed calm during the session even when she was in pain. It was a quick and short session but definitely give the place a 5 star. The place is neat and clean and they played the Goonies before and during the session. All the staffs were very kind.

Tomo is an awesome artist! He took the time to draw up a unique drawing and made sure I was satisfied with my tattoo. The artists in the shop are very professional and made my experience memorable and well worth it. Highly recommend! Thanks again Tomo!

Came in here after having breakfast at Goofy’s. I wanted to get my belly repierced and Tomo told me to come back at a later time when the piercer was there. Came back and Mike took a look at my belly to see the scarring damage I had. They were so kind to me and told straight up and didn’t sugar coat that it would hurt and be more tender than when I had first pierced it. I decided to go through with it and have Mike pierce it again. I have to say he was a trooper because that piercing was one hell of a nasty one to get all the way through with the scar tissue. He ended up having to pierce it twice because it was just not going through. Not going to lie it hurt worse than when I had first gotten it done but I had been prepared for that when they forewarned me. Poor Mike was covered in sweat when it was all done and I had felt so bad. Thank you, Mike for doing that for me I know it was a tough one.
I totally recommend coming here for any of your piercings you want done. I had gotten my first belly piercing back home in Los Angeles and I knew from the moment I walked in it was a bad place and my piercing had become such a head ache when it eventually just fell out. I didn’t feel that here and I was reassured that it was pierced to the best of their ability. Mike even said if anything were to happen or if I had any questions to just give him a call.

Wonderful tattoo shop. Stopped in with my boyfriend for us to both get a spur of the moment tattoo and left with something I can be proud of for the rest of my life. Mark did my tattoo, he’s a really nice guy, was extremely professional, and good conversation which made the experience enjoyable. He drew my design to coincide with my boyfriend’s and took the time to work with me on the placement and design. Highly recommend this tattoo shop to anyone. Can’t wait to come back from the mainland and get another!

I just got my first tattoo by Daniel Kunimura. He was amazing and I LOVE my tattoo. He made my first tattoo experience a great one and I highly recommend him! The tattoo is exactly what I wanted, and it was done very well and professionally. Go see Daniel for your next tattoo!

Me and my family went to get a tattoo. 8 of us wanted one. I don’t know the guy’s name but he said he had been there since 1994. He said he doesn’t trace or draw on paper then place on you. All he does is draw directly on skin. No one wanted to go first so I asked if he could draw the tattoo on me then I go out and smoke a cig while he started to drAw another tattoo on someone else. He said «yeah no problem» I showed him a picture of the tattoo I wanted (a hibiscus flower with my daughters name underneath). He was shaking as he was drawing (with a marker). When he finished I wasn’t quite sure what I was looking at. I asked him «Is that supposed to be a leaf?“Yes he responded. I said «they don’t have leaves» he yelled «I call bullshit!» I said «the pictures I’m showing you of how I want it do not have leaves» he said «If I go outside and find the flower they have leaves» I said «ok but the pictures I’ve shown you do not. I do not want a leaf» he raised his voice and said «DO NOT COMPARE MY ART TO GOOGLE» I go out of the seat and said «ok I’m gonna go smoke a cig and think about the leaf». He again started catching an attitude saying «so smoking is more important?!» I said «I asked before you even started if you would mind if I smoked a cig after you drew on me before starting the actually tattooing» he yelled «smoking can kill you! Smoking will kill you!» I told him «dude if you were gonna go so pissed off then you shouldn’t have told me it wasn’t gonna be a problem when I first asked you!» And again he is yelling «smoking kills!» We all left!!! I cannot believe the attitude this dude was giving me. The ink is going on my body so if I don’t want a Fkn leaf then I don’t want a leaf. It’s not like what I wanted on me was something disrespectful. But he argued with me then got mad because I wanted to smoke after I had asked if it was cool before I even sat in the chair. Absolutely ridiculous! The minimum was $ 60. $ 60×8 people = $ 480 but it would have been more than that because he quoted the little tattoo I wanted to be $ 100. He lost quite a bit of money that night! After I walked outside I looked at my shirt (Hawaiian shirt I bought in Hawaii) it was a hibiscus flower AND IT DIDNT HAVE ANY LEAVES!!! Do not go to this place they are rude and very disrespectful! I will post picture of what he drew on me…

Daniel is the best tattoo artist ever! He was professional and made me feel comfortable while getting tattooed. He was also easy to talk to and talked with me pretty much the whole time, which helped since it took my mind off the pain. I would definitely recommend this place. The other tattoo artists are welcoming and funny too! =)

I came to Hawaii to find my path, recover from burnout, and let go of some grief. I went walking around Waikiki and was worried I had gone too far, so I turned back to return to the hotel. I looked up to see this tattoo shop. It happened for a reason. I met Kevin here and told him I wanted a tattoo that would symbolize my children, my masterpieces. When this was done, I felt a huge weight lifted from my heart. Thank you, Kevin for sharing your story. for your patient ear. and adding that tiny bit of light blue to my angel baby. This was exactly what I wanted! I look forward to adding to this when I return! So glad that God put you in my path… now, the healing from stress, upset and disappointment can begin. All the other crap that I might encounter in the future? Bring it on…

Vince is hella chill! he’s gentle and kind… I’ve been searching for the right artist had an appt at another place but when I arrived I quickly saw it was NOT the quality I was seeking.
I remembered Sacred Art from a year ago when I considered a ceremonial tattoo but it wasn’t the right time.
I dropped by and again was blown away by their vibes and professionalism.
I would not trust anyone else with such a special moment …

After searching for a shop open late enough and willing to accept a walk in, we decided upon sacret heart tattoo. When we walked in, the shop looked great. Lots of cool paintings and pictures for people to flip through. We already had a design in mind, so I showed Trish and she helped my friend and I finalize it to a form she could tattoo. Once we decided on a font, she took us upstairs and got them done fairly quickly. They were pretty small so it was $ 60 plus tax.
All in all we had a great experience and I will def be getting more tattoos from them down the road. It’s great that they are located right by where I work and are open till midnight! Thanks again!
