Roberts Hawaii Express Shuttle

I’m surprised this shuttle service don’t have high reviews.
So i booked a shuttle service with them (May 16), online for 30 $ two ways (from/​to airport$, they charged different prices, depends in your hotel location and how far from the airport. Given my hotel location, i found them cheaper than other shuttle services.
Upon arriving in baggage claim, while i was waiting for my bag (also note that my flight delayed 4.5 hours). I heard someone calling my name, I turned out they are searching for me. Told them waiting for my bag, I collected my bag and they put FREE flowers on my neck. Loved it, best welcome ever, other shuttle is charging for this.
we went to the bus, they have different buses for each area, for example that day it was only me & two couples in the bus to Waikai. Our driver Ali Mohammed or Mohammed Ali, was very friendly, give us tips and told us about the places we passed by.
I will book them without any doubt, If I returned to Hawaii again

Great experience. We booked our reservation about 6 hours before our pick up with no problem. Our driver was very nice and the van was brand new. Only 1 other person on the van so it was like a personal taxi without the price. Would recommend !

Arrival was great, departure a different story. Had an 8:50 pickup, at 9:05 I called dispatch and was told driver was on her way. At 9:15 another driver showed up for his 9:15 pickup, we weren’t on his list. He ended up calling dispatch and agreeing to take us at 9:25 after he finally found the people he was there to pick up. After the next pick up, we saw a female Roberts driver go by, which was obviously our driver, over 45 minutes late. Our driver still had his other pickups to make, so now ow it’s 10 am and sitting here on the van in traffic in Waikiki (still near our hotel) hoping we don’t miss our 11:30 am flight.

Took an interisland flight to Waikiki and booked Robert’s to get to my hotel. I could be impartial because growing up I remember their white uniforms with the leis, and the rabbit logo. So Iconic. I also grew up on Maui riding their school busses and their public buses. Anyways. onto this review.
We arrived at HNL and headed downstairs to baggage claim. As you exit on the first right, there are greeters (in yellow shirts), they direct you where to wait for your shuttles. We walked towards the bus loading, and the bus was already waiting. The driver («Muhammad Ali») was really nice to everyone, assisting with luggage and then double checking everyone’s final destination before we took off. While we drove into Waikiki, he gave tips and pointed out certain landmarks and fun facts. I’m from Maui, so I thought it was cool to learn new tips about Oahu. He also gave tips to anyone who had questions.
Before we pulled up to hotels, he would announce which one was which, so people don’t get overly excited and start standing up. Very friendly service.
However, –1 for their reservations sytem which gives you the run-​around. They seem to direct you back and forth with dispatchers, and reservations. O_​O I would suggest booking online, and give yourself prompt time because you have to configure in Oahu traffic as well as other passengers boarding.
Hopefully you get a nice driver like Muhammad. HE made the ride enjoyable, despite the stops.

We ordered a shuttle to pick us io from the airport and take us to our hotel. The driver was prompt and took all our luggage for us. Tue shuttle its self was clean, comfortable and air conditioned. Our driver gave us some fun and interesting facts along the way and made a huge extra effort to get us to our hotel as there was a street fair and our road was closed. Will definitely us this company again.

They took our money and gave us the wrong location for pick up. Waited an hour, called their dispatch three times and tour left without us and Roberts refuses to issue a refund. Avoid this company at all costs. Poor customer service and they won’t refund us. Called another company and used them for our entire time in Honolulu. Please contact Reliable Shuttle for any and all tours and shuttles in Honolulu! They were fantastic — unlike Roberts.

I ordered a shuttle to take me to the honolulu airport and it came over 45 mins late. Thankfully i got there on time, but i had to call them twice to check to see where my driver was, and they kept saying it was running late because it was a busy night. When they got to me, there was only one other couple on board! Couldnt have been THAT busy! The shuttle was cheap, you get what you pay for i suppose.

I found the employees to be very friendly. A solid option for transfers and tours at competitive prices.

Completely ridiculously late. When departing from Hawaii, we waited for over 45 minutes to be picked up. As a result, we were rushing to our gate!!! Take basically ANY other service.

Roberts used to be great, but their customer service is terrible these days. They don’t seem to have much attention to detail… I had an airport shuttle pickup scheduled, and they neglected to note the specific details of the pickup location. As a result, the driver was looking for me in the wrong spot and left, thinking I was a no-​show. Despite having my cell number, they made no attempt to call me. When I spoke to customer service, the woman on the phone was rude and hung up on me before I could finish talking. They eventually sent another shuttle to pick me up, but I was over 30 minutes late to the airport.

Reserved a shuttle to the airport from Waikiki. Driver arrived right on time. Only had 3 other pick-​ups before heading to the airport. Got to the airport within an hour or so of pick-​up time.
Shuttle was well air conditioned. Driver was friendly and totally professional.
Will definitely use on my next visit to Oahu.

Hotel round trip $ 30! When I walked out the gate, airport supervisor, Mike, is already there waiting for me with a sign. Right away he present me a souvenir lei and call the dispatch about my arrival.
Super friendly and professional. When we walked out the terminal, the shuttle is already there waiting for us.

Are you kidding me? I double, even triple checked prior to arrival but the bus to airport came late, without any notice. I had to make two calls before the bus finally arrived 30 min later. I didn’t hear any sorry from service representative or driver… How can they be so unreliable and rude? The worst service I’ve ever got. I advise you to stay away from these guys unless you enjoy waiting w/​o any idea or risking the scheduled flight.

This is NOT a well oiled operation. We made the mistake of booking this company before we saw another company’s offer for $ 10 less per person.
After waiting over an hour at the airport for various people to pick up their luggage or decide on other plans, the coordinator could only answer with a «Soon» when asked where the shuttle is.
So yeah, you can decide if hanging around the airport for a couple hours is worth not even getting a good price on transport.

Update — After several messages, they did refund the fees for the shuttle that I did not take, so that gets them an extra star, I suppose.

On time. Beautiful buses. Very clean. Great drivers!

I happened to be leaving a wonderful 10 day vacation on the same day as a half marathon that forced some road closures near my hotel. My pickup time was 10 minutes prior to the end of the event (even through roads were already reopened), so they told me to walk to another hotel a few blocks away for pick up. I did. They picked me up, and then we went back to MY HOTEL five minutes later to pick up other people. What?! I had asked for options the day before and they still made me to go to another location for pick up. If they knew other people were getting picked up at MY HOTEL five minutes after my pickup time, why couldn’t they have put two and two together?
I didn’t mind the walk, it was just the lack of planning on their part that frustrates me.
I won’t be using the service again, unfortunately. The people I spoke to were all very nice; I just value service more.

Used their airport shuttle service (airport to Waikiki)
We were greeted at baggage claim (which was surprising since their website said it was at our gate, and other shuttle services had representatives at our gate)
After we picked up our luggage and they escorted us to the shuttle we then waited 30 25 – 30 minutes for other passengers.
This wasn’t so bad since we were checking into our hotel and we weren’t concerned about missing our flight but at the same time they were able to guarantee that they won’t make more than 5 stops however they don’t guarantee how long they’ll make you wait for others.

I am sitting here at HNL airport. Nothing is open, it’s a little before 4am! My plane doesn’t leave til 725am!
Not happy to sit on these concrete benches. Why did this company insist on picking me up so early? When I asked if they could make it later they said this was the only time and otherwise I would lose my deposit. Nice
Sours my hawaii experience. Please buyer beware

I called them up asking if we could get a shuttle in the afternoon to go from our hotel in Waikiki to the airport. The first person I talked to said that they wouldn’t be able to set up the reservation, but that they would transfer me to the dispatchers who would. I told the dispatcher what I wanted to do and she told me that she couldn’t take reservations and gave me the number of the people who could… The same number I had called to begin with. I told her that they had just transferred me to her and she told me oh and hung up.
My fiancé gave them a call next and the man was more than willing to help her. They only had two times available and neither worked very well for us. They also said they would have to make a few other stops to pick up other people, making the trip 3 times as long and would cost $ 33 for two people. After a half hour dealing with them we ended up going with a taxi service that took 30 seconds to set up, were on time, friendly, and only $ 29.
