Pizza Hut

I have ordered literally hundreds of times since the flippin 90’s with no incident and I always tip the drivers super good BUT the last time I ordered the pizzas were horrible with a weird white chunky feta cheese looking chunks all over it and the toppings were sparse and some slices had none while others had just a few. It was the only time I ever had a problem over the years and received pizza like that.
I call Kapahulu and speak to manager and she even agrees it sounds weird as they have no feta cheese and she doesn’t know what those white chunks could be and wants me to return the pizzas and wait again for new ones. It had been over an hour for those bad pizzas to be delivered so I told her I didn’t want to wait again and she agreed to refund and I said OK thank you and thought problem solved.
Tonight I tried to order and was told I’m barred from delivery. After years as a customer with no incident I call ONE time with legit complaint and the manager secretly bars me from delivery! Her little power trip revenge move? So I try to speak with her again tonight and get a Miandra on the phone who acts concerned and asks what happened and then just tells me «Yeah you can’t get delivery anymore and we are not allowed to give out manager’s names.» That is a lie as it’s usually only the managers names which are given to legitimate customers who need assistance. Also was told I couldn’t get connected to Kapahulu directly which was another lie as it was the Kapahulu location I called.
And I just checked and she did not even do the refund she barred me from future delivery over! I am for sure going to corporate over this.

It tasted like the box it came in.

Honestly, 2 stars is way to generous. The people here aren’t friendly. They seem to not pay attention to anything going on. They have attitude towards not just the customer, but to each other. We get it, you don’t wanna be here. I ordered my food and one of them was chicken wings. Normally, I get sauce with it. I ordered the wings plain, but so what, less work in my book. I ask for sauce, and they charge me $.50 each. Really?! Their food is expensive. And their pizzas have gone down hill. My friends brought dominoes and we demolished that. Basically, just go to Dominoes or Papa Johns. Save yourself the headache.

If only I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The staff is unhelpful, I ordered 2 pizzas online, and through the phone when my dad was picking it up, the staff said without a «confirmation email» then the order wasn’t placed. Apparently it didn’t go through. Guess what went through even when I asked if it did or did not, and was told not? The credit card payment. We ended up paying for pizza we never got, and my dad had to order 2 more pizzas and pay, upfront. Guess what they gave us to call and «inquire» about the mishap? The Menu. Instead of helping us fix the wrong charge, they gave us the menu with the number, the number oh so important that I could have gotten anywhere. I don’t recommend this place to anyone, especially online orders. The order won’t go through, but your credit card definitely will.

Well after getting crappy pizza again and again from the Kahala mall pizza Hut. I decided to try the Kapahulu one. No other pizza place does a garden fresh stuffed crust. And when done right it’s so good. So I ordered for pick up. When I got there it just came out. They cut it and she opened the box and… choke onions everywhere! Hello there’s no onions on a garden fresh. It did look good though nice fat crust and plenty toppings. But I know my gf would not be happy about the onions. They said they’ll remake it. So here I am waiting for my pizza parked in front of a fire hydrant, super hungry and writing a Unilocal review. Good thing i didnt have it delivered. They would have gotten 1 or 2 stars but the pizza looked really good. Way better then all the ones I got from Kahala… Came back here to edit my review. They gave me the mistake pizza too. Both of them were super good, the way they should be, so i added another star. never again will I go to the Kahala mall pizza hut.

I don’t come here often enough bcuz of the pkg. only street pkg. but the people here are always nice and the ordering is pleasant.

We love the cheesy bites. Every time we order over the phone, they tell us how many minutes it’ll take our order to be ready and it’s always not ready. This is important because parking is hard there. There’s always 2 of us to pick the pizza because of the difficulty of finding parking the other one needs to drive around while the other picks up the pizza. Mind you my husband already got a parking ticket there while picking up the pizza.

I am glad to get my order despite waiting. I am glad that I called it in and made it ready. This a good location to order pizza and they were very accomdating in the last order I picked up. I am glad they held it for me until I arrived from the UH vs. St. John’s game. I am also glad that they kept in the oven still hot enough to pick up and to enjoy. Thanks and it was greatly Appreciated.

We called them around 7:45PM and hadn’t come until 9:45PM!!!
It’s been 2 hours!!! Seriously!!! We were super duper starving so we ate stuff from refrigerator and snacks… Now can’t finish them…
AND they delivered different pizza (must be Pepperoni Pizza but got half Pepperoni & half pineapple, which we hate it!) with 3 pieces of bread (supposed to be 5 pieces)…
We are really disappointed!!!
Now, I understand why this place gets 2 stars!!!

Took them over an hour and a half to get me my pasta (I had to call 3x to double check), then the delivery guy couldn’t follow the directions. Come to find out, he was hauling a bunch of pizzas on a moped (but at least he was friendly). My meal was cold, they didn’t include sauce for my wings and they forgot the forks. I doubt I’ll be ordering from here again. I would expect after waiting almost 2 hours after my order, I would have gotten some sort of discount or coupon for next time. NOPE.

I ordered two large specialties tonight and it was delivered in less than 30 mins. I haven’t picked up a pizza from this location before and can only base my review on delivery experience. I orders a super surpreme and a bacon-​pepperoni-​mushroom and both pies were delicious. They were not cheap on the toppings and the crust was crispy without being burnt. Perfect texture and a loaded with toppings, what else can u ask for in a pizza joint. Delivery guy called four mins before arriving and the total was $ 30.37. I am a happy customer. On a side note, the pizza here taste better than the Kahala location. Not a giant difference but a noticeable one. Five stars for consistent quality pizza from this Pizza Hut.

I have given this location multiple chances and I have had more orders go wrong than right. In the most recent debacle I received a cheese pizza with hardly any cheese to speak of that was overcooked and stale/​burnt cinnamon sticks. I will not be using this location or any Pizza Hut on this island in the future.

I grew up loving pizza hut as a kid in So cali. After moving to hawaii i started to like bosons pizza. Then i moved to SF and wow, there are just so many good places in san francisco for good pizza and of all sorts. After coming back and back to visit i just wanted something other than boston’s (over it).
And Pizza Hut to the rescue to restore my old child hood pizza memories. Got delivery and the driver was on time and had to run up in the rain. Got a large stuff crust pizza (special online) and it was reasonably price with tax and delivery (21). The pizza which did take long even though on time was at least nice and hot. Slices were baked perfectly and all in all. I will re order from here next time i visit my parents.

Best pizza spot on the island! Extremely courteous customer service ;) manager personally made sure we were happy. Everything was great… and it’s close to Waikiki.

I don’t think the employees here wash their hands before touching your food. After I paid the cashier she went to transfer a pizza into it’s box with her bare hands. Few moments thereafter, a man with wrinkled clothes, uncombed hair and keys in hand came in right after. The 2 employees started yelling at the man «where have you been? You just woke up?» he too also… started transferring pizzas into it’s boxes with his unwashed and bare hands. Sob. another unwashed pair of hands over another pizza crust! :(

If I could give them no stars I would. Only plus I give them is that the store front was clean. But the big lady at the counter was rude and acted as if she didn’t wanna speak, she practically was irritated that she had to serve me. Haven’t gotten my food yet, but hopefully its better than the customer service…

Pizza arrived after long wait. Pizza was under cooked. Toppings were okay, but dough was undercooked. From center to almost the crust, dough was gooey and still malleable and pliable.(I could have rolled it into a dough ball and reshaped it). This pizza was not for consumption.
Called Pizza Hut and asked to have another made and sent out. Phone staff at their call center did the best job of all trying to work with the store to correct the problem. After initial call, was told that the manager would call me back. No call received. Called the call center back, agent said the Kapahulu store for Pizza Hut would expedite one to us. One hour passed, (2 hours from my first call) still no pizza or call from manager. Call back to call center, supervisor said wait 10 minutes then call her back. Waited 20 minutes, no pizza. Called her back and asked for refund which she did do and was very apologetic.
Don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I won’t be utilizing Pizza Hut again after this. Kapahulu Pizza Hut manager failed to provide a certain level of customer service. Would have been more understanding if he called back like he said he would or showed some good faith in getting us a replacement pizza quicker. 2 hours to wait. Unacceptable! Family wanted pizza! Got disappointment!
Never again!

Whoops we made the error once again hoping for the best. Both pizzas were undercooked to point cheese was not melted.
How can this chain get the product so wrong. Lesson learned

This is the nearest Pizza Hut from where I live so this is the branch I order from. I always do pick-​ups since I live nearly. When I go there, no one usually eats-​in there so I’m always the only customer.
I always call in my order before going to pick it up. The hotline rep always say my order will be ready for pick-​up at about 15 – 20 minutes. My pizza is usually done by the time I get there. There was only one time when I have to wait 5 more minutes, but I did not mind.
The service is good, they are friendly. The manager may look intimidating but he is friendly too. He always asks if I want pepper packets because I only ask for cheese.
I remember how I can pull the cheese of the pizza whenever a take a bite of a hot slice. Nowadays, no cheese-​pulling anymore. I wonder what happened…

The bf and I were lazy and in the mood for Pizza Hut pizza. Sadly, the delivery time was running about 75 minutes… We were hungry and desperate, so we opted for pick-​up. And the pick-​up wait for the Kapahulu Pizza Hut was only 15 minutes! Huge difference.
Anyway, the bf and I fought over who would drive and who would walk in to pick up and pay… The bf won the drive, so I was left with the pick-​up.
Upon entering, I got this super weird vibe from the patrons in there. I’ve never been more scared to pick up a pizza before. As I waited for the lady in front of me to finish her lengthy and LOUD order, I frantically texted the bf to watch me through the windows. I had never been stabbed before, but I surely thought, that night, if any, I would. The lady in front of me was loud and yelling with the most stereotypical tita action I had ever witnessed.
I just wanted my pizza…
Once she finished, I paid and grabbed my order. Whew! Well, it wasn’t actually that quick…
Service at this PH is not that good. It’s slow, unfriendly, rude and unpleasant!
I heard the PH phone ringing and someone in the back shouted, «SHUT UP!» Lol. Funny, but not.
And when I tried to tip the cashier, I searched for a good couple minutes for the tip jar (while still compromising my safety)… I asked her where it was and she said, «in front of the other register.» Obviously, I had been looking for it. «You want a tip or not?» I thought.
I asked her once more.
And seeing as how there actually was no «tip jar,» she had me put it in the pen /​pencil container. Idiot.
I really should have just left.
Lesson learned.
But I made it out safely!
Anyway, our pizza and pasta were good, but the service was crap x 10. I doubt I’ll return.
Oh yeah, and to top it off — no red pepper or cheese packets. Boo.
