Party Pizzazz

I love coming here to pick up a nice big birthday balloon! The big ones are about $ 11. They blow it up once you pick the design so you can have a fresh balloon. They stay inflated for A long while! I come back again and again! Love this place.

I need to say that I love Party Pizzazz! I have lived near Kaimuki all my life growing up and can say I never have actually stepped inside the store. My mother has been here and I have driven by, but this was my first time doing business with them.
I called Friday looking to see if I could get helium for balloons I had purchased for a party. The woman on the phone was so nice and explained to me that because my balloons are latex that it would be better to get them filled Saturday morning so they would stay inflated. I appreciated this because I was having a big party for a football game the next day and wanted everything to be perfect.
Saturday morning I strolled in and the same woman who spoke with my over the phone was there in the store. She looked at my balloons and told me how much it would cost etc. She filled them up, matched the string to the colors of our football team and even matched the balloon weight.
From start to finish she was helpful, genuine and informative. Everything that a successful small business owner should be! I give Party Pizzazz 5 out of 5! I hope they are here for a long, long time!

LATEX BALLOONS — only last 10hr or more.
I did not know this when I purchased 6 latex balloons the night before my daughter’s 1^st birthday party. I couldn’t purchase them the day of because her party was at 10 and the store opens at 10. The morning of the party the balloons were laying on the floor and considerably smaller. It was the 4^th of July so there was nothing I could do.
Monday morning I called and they told me that it was unfortunate that I did not see the sign saying that latex balloons last approx. 10 hours. The most that they could do was give me 6 more balloons. Since my daughter’s party was done and over, this was not helpful at all.
I was able to speak to the manager who again offered 6 balloons. He said he was not sure what more he could do. I suggested that perhaps his employees could tell people purchasing latex balloons that they last ~10 hours.
Finally, he offered my money back. I returned to the store and they gave me half of my money back.
I took pictures of the very small sign (a strip of paper) posted saying how long latex balloons last. The manager mentioned that this is also noted on their website, but I checked and did not see anything as of 7÷6÷15.
This is probably my fourth time purchasing balloons from this place. Two times I bought the foil balloons and twice latex. I am satisfied that in the end the manager did meet me halfway with giving me half of my money back, and hope that this review helps others looking to purchase latex from them, as well as possibly prompt the company to inform their customers of the life expectancy of their latex balloons upon purchase so that this does not have to happen to anyone else.
Will still purchase from them in the future.

I needed some red balloons , she charges by dozen, I ordered 24 for a kindergarten class. she got it done in 15 minutes .This was about 10 in the morning. I was happy to get the balloons paid about 40 bucks. I will probably use her services again. She very helpful and friendly.

I’ve been to Party Pizzazz a few times, and had a great experience each time. The only thing I’ve purchased are balloon arrangements and a helium tank, so I can’t speak to any of the other products in the store (which all look a bit outdated to me)…but the balloon arrangements are great! It’s a bit pricey, but worth it to make your party super bright and festive!

I may have found the perfect party hack! BALLOONS! Decorations can get super pricey, especially if you are planning to decorate a large facility. I looked into Party Pizzazz to rent a helium tank after finding out prices for inflated balloons from Party City, wayy cheaper to do your own.
Ordered flat balloons online (Amazon or Ebay folks!) and ordered the corresponding helium tank at the shop. Felt a little cheated, because the lady that was working convinced me to get the 27cf tank (sizes start at 14cf to 250cf) based on the number of balloons I had ordered, on party day, I had a lot of helium left in the tank, boo.
And because they are day rentals, I couldn’t find another use for compressed helium that wasn’t dangerous or didn’t border the line of illegal activity, so I just returned the remaining gas to the shop.
Party Pizzazz offers your basic party supplies, like cups, paperware, birthday banners, balloon weights, ribbon and flat balloons. However, dont expect any good range of colors or themes, as they are a small store.

Went in to purchase balloons for my husband’s birthday. My 3 year old was with me so she insisted we get the huge $ 13 Olaf balloon. The sales Kady grabbed the one out of the window and said she had just blown it up. By the next day it was losing air. I called to tell them and she kept questioning if I had put a hole in it. I told her it wasn’t all the way flat it was just like an old balloon losing air. After a few minutes of a conversation of her Q’s me of doing something wrong, she said that I could bring it in so that she could see what happened to the balloon. I have attached a pic of the balloon on day 3. Just beware if you go in to get balloons, have them blow him up in front of you.

I was referred to this place by a co-​worker. The process of scheduling delivery seemed quite cumbersome. After paying for my order of balloons for delivery, the delivery time kept fluctuating from our agreed upon time. At times it was a stress that was unneeded and undesired. I repeatedly had to remind Tiffany of our agreed upon delivery time.
In the end the balloons came at the agreed upon time. Whew.

I was referred to Party Pizzazz by a good friend (Lee Gordon) because I was in desperate need of a helium tank. I called asking for more information and the lady who assisted me was super helpful. She explained to me that the tanks that you get at Target/​Walmart — the one that comes with 30 balloons, isn’t pure helium so the balloons won’t stay up as long. She was right. We inflated quite a few balloons with both her helium tank and the store bought one and the Target tank deflated super quick.
The pricing for the rentals is very reasonable. We managed to fill over 25 mylar balloons, and over 60 regular latex balloons with two of her tanks. I probably could have filled more if I didn’t leave the darn tank open over night.
I was able to rent the tanks on a Saturday morning and return it Monday afternoon with no extra charges. They have great hours and a wonderful selection of mylar balloons as well. I high recommend coming here if you’re in need of balloons. They also have a small party supply section — cups, decoration, etc. I like knowing it’s right there so I won’t ever have to go to Party City to get anything holiday related.

I’ll be honest. I’ve never had to use this place in a large party-​type set up or volume but I have stopped by here for birthday balloons, party favors and other smaller thingamajiggs for parties. Especially kiddie birthdays. The lady that was working the times I’ve come here is really friendly. I walked out of the store and my balloon popped for no reason. She didn’t hesitate to make me another at no charge. Parking is limited to street but if you don’t find any on Waialae try in the neighborhood around the corner.

Baby loves balloons! His word for balloons sounds like «BLUE» every time we’re at the check-​out stands and he looks up with a BIG SMILE to all the mylar balloons on display.
So while planning for his first birthday, I had to include balloons as part of the décor. How? The easiest was to use as centerpieces. Next, did I want to blow up almost 50 balloons and put them together and then pass out because every last breath went into blowing those balloons? Sure, there’s the helium tank I can rent instead of blowing the balloons but where’s the love in that?
Okay, so being realistic, I decided to use the services of Party Pizzazz as they had the mylar balloons available in my son’s birthday theme and more. I ordered and they put together centerpieces for 6 tables, a check-​in balloon arrangement as well as a balloon arch with my son’s name. No additional set up fee but you do pay for delivery. They did a great job except I was expecting a fuller spiral like instead of single balloons on the arch for the price quoted.

Does «size» really matter?
Not to me, not since Party Pizzazz proved that «good things» really do «come in small packages» (or stores in this case).
Here’s my story:
I’m so great at procrastinating that I waited till HOURS BEFORE my boyfriend’s birthday party to think-​up and buy the party decorations. I was not about to drive all the way to Waikele on a SUNDAY to wander around Party City, where I’m sure I would’ve been overwhelmed with birthday party decorations…
Instead, I turned to friend and fellow Unilocaler kelly k.
She suggested Party Pizzazz and had agreed to drive.
Okay well, it turns out that I live UBER close to Party Pizzazz… I had no idea this place even existed.
She literally drove a block and a half away, or maybe two. Two and a half? …Point is, we could have walked.
Anyway, this place is tiny and very easily missed, which could account for the fact that I had never seen it.
I was a bit discouraged when I first saw how small this store was. I wasn’t expecting Costco or anything, but I had envisioned it with a little more «pizzazz» and more uhhh… stuff.
After walking around a bit, I found the PERFECT «Happy Birthday» sign. Just my luck… it was the display and I couldn’t find any others like it. (boo)
Fortunately, the party lady was SOOOOOOOOOO unbelievably nice that she let me have it for FREE! Yes, free.
And after scanning through the plates, cups, napkins, etc., Kelly and I finally set the party theme: JUNGLE! Haha. I bought the whole jungle set, including the matching balloons and tablecloths (yay). I also picked up some confetti. :)
The party decorations were a great success thanks to the help of kelly k. and that wonderful party lady.
BTW, Party Pizzazz has all kinds of decorations for retirement, baby showers, and all kinds of special occasions. This is definitely some place to check out the next time you need some party things or balloons. (They have lots of balloons.)

I guess, it’s because it’s October… so planning a 21^st Mardi Gras theme party is quite a challenge because I’m stressing out on where to get decorations. I went to Party Pizzazz after reading the previous Unilocaler. But I was a little disappointed to find little to no party supplies at all for Mardi Gras. But the lady at the shop made up for it. She was nice and helpful. I actually ended up ordering balloons and some centerpieces from her.
3 stars coz some items were dusty, aside from the fact that they had very limited mardi gras party supplies. But all in all, I would definitely go back there for future party planning! =D

I was planning a Mardi Gras party and needed to find some decorations for the event, and I tried all over the area and couldn’t find anywhere that had much. I then found the Party Pizzazz website and they said they had masks, beads and other decorations so I stopped in.
As I was coming in, a man was leaving with a beautiful display of balloons for a Mardi Gras party and they had a whole table dedicated to Mardi Gras decorations. I was very impressed with their selection. Much greater than the party sections you’ll find at Wal-​Mart, Long’s, Foodland, etc. They had a great selection of decorations for ever sort of event.
I did, however, take off a star because of the price. The same masks they were selling for $ 1.29 were also on sale at other websites online for $ 0.20. Though, once you consider the cost of shipping, the time it takes to be delivered and the fact that Party Pizzazz has the widest selection of party supplies I’ve come across on the island, I think it’s worth the increase in price.
I would certainly think of them again for the next event I plan.
