My children absolutely love the books Amira Shea wrote about Amarys and Indigo’s adventures. These are their favorite books whenever we do story time. They love the colorful illustrations with characters they can relate to (pint sized curly hair and sun tanned kids unlike any other children’s books) and can often recite the lines from the book. My 4 year old Son loves to say «no more mushrooms in the bathroom» from his favorite book: A MUSHROOM IN THE BATHROOM. My five year old son’s favorite book is CATCH A FISH, which reminds him of the family beach outings and his own fascination with tiny fish. We will definitely buy more books from this local writer and look forward to more of her publication on Amarys and Indigo.
