Specialties
We specialize in Classical Ballet training. Our program starts with pre-ballet/tap for ages 3 – 5. We use tap as a tool to learn the beat of the music.
Then as the dancers progress we have ballet Levels 1 – 5. With Pointe training at Level 4.
We do performances at Ala Moana center stage twice a year to help the dancers develop stage presence. Also Ms. Page Specializes in Choreographing classical ballet with Hawaiian music and hula accents. But Mainly The school is Classical ballet training with the Vaganova (Russian) Method.
We also offer adult classical ballet classes which is open to all levels beginning-inter/adv. And also Adult Modern Ballet classes.
History
Established in 2008.
Ms. Kamakoa Page founder of Page Academy was trained in Hawaii and Pittsburgh. She danced with the Pittsburgh Ballet. Back home she is company member of the Tau Dance Theater. She has taught Ballet for 12 years with Hawaii State Ballet, Notes Music and dance school, Hawaii Starshine, Drill team Hawaii, and Tau youth group before opening her own school in Kaimuki. Page Academy of Dance provides a beautiful dance space with sprung dance floors and high ceilings. It is kid friendly providing a space for them to do homework before and after dance classes, and also a place for parents to watch and preschoolers to color.
Above all Ms. Page has a passion to teach ballet and provides quality training, paying attention to each students needs as dancers.

Business Owner
Ms. Kamakoa Page Zablan, Has a passion for ballet. She started dancing at the age of 3 with Vaganova (Russian Ballet) teacher John Landovsky. She went on to Dance with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and the Tau Dance Theater. Ms. Page is also very experienced with teaching little ones ballet. She started teaching pre-ballet at the age of 14. She was chosen to represent Hawaii in the ECHO project that toured the East coast and Alaska bringing art, dance, and culture to schools provided by the «no child left behind act».
Ms. Page believes that ballet has not only taught her to dance gracefully and work hard, It also gave her a feeling of self worth and provided a focus point in life. She teaches the value of being beautiful and gracious. She has taught students the importance of dressing modest and living with integrity. It is important that the students at Page Academy are respectful of themselves and others. Building the character to be great performers on stage and in life.
