Pacific Rim Christian College (PacRim) located in Honolulu, Hawaii is an eclectic mix of ethnicities and one of the best practicums for global leadership development and a cross-​cultural understanding. We support a vibrant, relevant and high-​quality learning environment to advance scholarship and ministry skills. PacRim offers certificate, undergraduate and graduate degrees. We also offer online courses as well.

We encourage the use of creative arts in worship music, dance, drama, film, multimedia, and graphic arts, with thoughtful theological reflection and the appropriate stewardship of technologies available to serve both the urban and rural context.

History

Established in 1998.

Pacific Rim Bible Institute (a formal Bible Institute of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel) was established in 1998. The school was formally incorporated in the state of Hawaii as a college in 2001.

The year 2009 signified great change for PacRim. In February, PacRim was granted ‘Candidate’ status by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), allowing the college to be pre-​accredited with some of the benefits of fully accredited colleges. Students could now qualify for Federal scholarships, PELL grants, and other financial aid programs.

In May 2009, Pacific Rim Bible College changed its operational name to Pacific Rim Christian College as a means to communicate the desire to be a college of choice for all Christian denominations. And in November, PacRim was approved to offer graduate degrees beginning with the Master of Arts in Christian Ministry in the Spring of 2010.
